## Creo Reviews
  ### 1. Easy to learn, quite difficult to master. Best CAD used so far for surfaces and large assemblies.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel V. | Junior Design Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Creo?**

First major aspect I noticed when switching to Creo from another CAD software was how versatile it is when dealing with surfaces and how it encourages the use of surfaces even when creating most prismatic (solid) models. Also, I appreciate how it facilitates the management of large assemblies (for instance by using Simplified Representations, saved orientations, Display Styles etc.

**What do you dislike about Creo?**

It happens more often than I'd like that the program does things in ways that I don't expect (for example, when dealing with rounds on more complex areas). Most of these times, the program provides very little or no information on why this happened. I know this is less of a problem for more experienced users, but it would be nice if the program was able to help more with troubleshooting.
Also, there is the occasional fatal error followed by the program crashing. In these cases, it's impossible to recover unsaved data, as there is no autosave or recovery option.

**What problems is Creo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started using Creo when some of the major clients started working with it. It has now become the go-to program when clients don't have any specific software preferences.

  ### 2. Creo is very powerful 3D CAD software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary Grace M. | Design Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Creo?**

Creo Parametric is the best when it comes to Cabling design, you can easily route your desired cable length and specs. It is very convenient to use Creo for this purpose. Also, you can do your own hotkeys/ shortcut keys.

**What do you dislike about Creo?**

Since Creo is not cloud-based, you need to save your work multiple times so you are very sure that your design/work was saved in your local file. Because if not, it is very hard to retrieve those.

**Recommendations to others considering Creo:**

Creo Parametric is very useful whether you're designing small or big assemblies. You can use a lot of features aside from the basics, like piping, cabling, hose routing, and many more.

**What problems is Creo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As for the consumer electronics industry, we are dealing a lot of cable wires routings from PCBA to PCBA, etc., and Creo is very useful for this. We can save a lot of time in doing cable routings using Creo.

  ### 3. Invest the time in learning, and never look back

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nigel K. | Managing Director

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Creo?**

The ability to manage large assemblies quickly, yet maintain full control and stability far exceeds what other packages offer.
Creo is something you have to invest time in to appreciate all the capabilities and is overlooked by users of other packages who rather want the quick surface win, rather than the deeper benefits.
When you couple this with AAX and being able to manipulate in Pro/Program the inner workings it becomes a very powerful tool

**What do you dislike about Creo?**

They need to invest more heavily on the transition to effective 2D drawings. The model based annotations is OK, but most people manufacture from drawings still.
Some upgrades needed in the creation of the 2d drawings space

**What problems is Creo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fully parametric and programmed models, offer ultimate flexibility with the addition of keeping ERP data managed and linked. We are able to accelerate the design and repetition process

First thing is like, everyone suggests same software that they are using.. I always prefer creo.. As name suggests Parametric is the thing where everything is managed to save users working time.. User interface is the best, simple and very productive that we can get only from Creo.. it provides lots of core enhancements.. like lots of mini toolbars are given. makes designer easier.. making an Assembly is very intuitive with Creo.. Mapkeys and family tables are really best.. Which saves time while doing repeating work.. It provides better management for external references.. rendering is very enhanced but simple to use.. lots of improvements are coming in next versions.. Linked with lots of other modules like analysis, simulation, animation.. it has the capability of importing CAD file format.. which helps the user to customize the old files.
