For a new user, Creo is bit complex and it requires a considerable amount of time to be invested in learning the tool even for small and easy part creation. For top-down design methods, surface modeling, sheet metal modeling, concurrent data exchange between multiple components developed by the key integrator, and excellent assembly configuration, the Advanced Assembly module in CREO parametric is just fantastic. CREO helps me immensely with surface and sheet metal modeling. Multiple methods are available through Creo for creating surfaces and curves within your design model. Utilizing technical surfacing provides the ability to modify sections of particular surface types while adhering to specific measurement constraints. On the other hand, freestyle surfacing allows you to adjust surface boundaries and measurements by altering curve tangents on the screen. This type of surfacing results in changes to the underlying structure of the model to ensure that everything maintains proper proportion as the surface is adjusted. I regularly use Creo, especially the Cabling module which is particularly useful for wire and spool harnesses. For example, the program allows users to create more than one harness at a time and then place them together in a single assembly model. This enables them to make changes and updates to the harnesses all at once. There is also a custom driver feature that allows users to create their own customized wire and spool harness, without needing any specific tool or program. One of the least helpful aspects of Creo Parametric is its high cost. This CAD program can run up to thousands of dollars, making it unaffordable for many businesses and individuals looking for a simpler solution. Additionally, the learning curve associated with mastering this software is quite steep and takes considerable time to learn due to its complexity; therefore, it may not be ideal for those who do not have much experience with CAD programs. It helps me reduce the time it takes to develop products and prototypes because of its intuitive design and user experience. Additionally, with integrated simulation tools such as finite element analysis and motion analysis, I can simulate how the design will look in different scenarios before committing to manufacturing them. This helps mitigate risk when creating new products or components. Also, it offers collaboration capabilities for teams working on shared projects across multiple locations. Am using CREO for past four years, the best thing i noticed is constraints are automatically taken while sketching the product that makes our work more precise and saves our time. It has good sheet metal and surface modeling features compared to other CAD softwares. Its UI looks good, and tools can be accessed easily. Best for beginners to start learning with CREO. In our industry we design sheet metal and machinery using CREO.Its speciallized feature are helpful in creating the complex shapes easier and made my work to complete on time with accuracy. It has good simulation module that gives us precise results that helps us in load calculation, thickness analysis. As a senior engineer, it is very helpfull for me to train CREO for the newly joined fresh candidates, its UI is easy to understand for the beginer to understand and work.
