## About Content Cloud
Zywave Content Cloud is an insurance content library and distribution platform for brokers, agencies, and carriers. It gives insurance professionals access to 8,000+ attorney-vetted, ready-to-share educational resources across commercial lines, employee benefits, personal lines, compliance, HR, safety, and risk management — all customizable with your agency's branding and deliverable by email, portal, or direct download. Most insurance agencies know content marketing works. The problem is creating it — writing compliance guides, HR resources, and risk management materials that are accurate, current, and actually useful to clients takes time most brokers don't have. Content Cloud solves that by putting a professionally built, continuously updated library of insurance-specific content directly in your hands, ready to send to clients and prospects without starting from scratch. Here's what that looks like in practice: A library built for every line of business. Commercial lines, employee benefits, personal lines, cyber liability, OSHA compliance, wellness, and HR — Content Cloud covers it all with content your clients actually want to read. Over two dozen newsletter series keep your agency in front of clients year-round, not just at renewal. Content that's built to protect you and your clients. Every resource is attorney-vetted and maintained across all 50 states. When regulations change — ACA, COBRA, FMLA, OSHA — the content updates. Your clients get current information. You get the credibility of always having the right answer. Distribution that doesn't require a marketing team. The AI Email Assistant helps you find and share the right content in seconds. Branded templates, smart content delivery, and direct integration with your CRM and client portal mean content gets to clients the way they want to receive it — without your team manually managing every send. The numbers hold up. Brokers using Content Cloud report a 65% decrease in marketing costs and a 35% increase in marketing productivity. Agencies that pair content distribution with marketing automation see up to a 5x increase in annual revenue from their content investment. Better Together: Content Cloud connects natively with Zywave's Client Cloud for portal-based content delivery, and with Sales Cloud for automated email campaigns — so the same piece of content can reach a prospect through outreach, a client through their portal, and a new lead through a nurture sequence, all without duplication. If your agency is sending the same generic newsletter every quarter and calling it a marketing strategy, Content Cloud is where that changes.

## Content Cloud Reviews
 ### 1. Avoid Zywave At all Cost (Nasty business Practices)

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John N. | Head of People Ops, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Content Cloud?**

Zywave is the worst when it comes to client focus and customer service. Their behavior is to charge more year over year rather than listening to their customer. They try all the tricks of the trade 60 day renewals so if you contact them at day 59 you are out of luck because it really matters (right) turn it off and you are good. In a world with 30 day terminations there is no justification for this language.

**What do you dislike about Content Cloud?**

everything its old stale information that doesn't add value. just save your money.

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now with AI we don't need these tools they are an obsolete solution. They know it which is why they try to strong arm clients to renew.

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Broker Briefcase benifits offers very good resources for prepping meetings and helping us secure positive outcomes. Also it provides material to prepare employees for new benefits options like HRAs and HSAs. It is also highly appriciated by small and middle-cap clients without full HR suits. It also offers legally proofed, agency-branded documents, videos, and posters.

 ### 4. My go-to for employee benefits content

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keegan G. | Marketing & Business Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Content Cloud?**

It's a great place to find content on employee benefits. There are current articles specific to your state, demographic, etc. Everything can be branded for you as well. There is a wide range of topics and there are new articles coming out constantly.

**What do you dislike about Content Cloud?**

Some of the content is dry, but that could just be employee benefits... Spicing up the language in the articles is a good move. The content isn't always exactly what I need, sometimes it answers a few of the questions I need answered and leaves out important ones. It's great that it can be branded with your company's name, but the overall design is nothing to phone home about.

**Recommendations to others considering Content Cloud:**

Make sure you put your company's name on everything!

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coming up with relevant content for the insurance industry, it's beneficial to search a new topic and find an article on the subject you're trying to educate on. I also receive emails when new articles are published, which is super convenient.

 ### 5. Two years with Broker Briefcase

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Content Cloud?**

The ability to market to larger clients from a smaller agency that now appears larger than life.

**What do you dislike about Content Cloud?**

Health Plan Benchmark report is a great tool but has too many limiting factors,to make it truly useful for clients

**Recommendations to others considering Content Cloud:**

Zywave must commit to a dedicated individual to assist with the implementation, set up and roll out with a dedicated administrator on the agency side. Otherwise, it's impossible for one to navigate the process alone.

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Outreach to new client prospects with targeted and specified content has been well received and successful since implementation.

 ### 6. Everything in fine exept it is difficult to search for clients

It is very user friendly and they continue to innovate and push the product forward. It contains an incredible library of resources that can easily be delivered to buyers and potential buyers of service.

**What do you dislike about Content Cloud?**

The biggest concern I have with zywave is the number of competitors that also use the tool which is a credit to their success and value.

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content creation time is greatly reduced, data analytics tools are accessed via the tool so less time on internal development. HR resources and advice is also tied in and offered to clients.

The broker briefcase is very useful - you can prepare a fleet program and minutes and it looks very professional. The new things they are working on are helpful too.

**What do you dislike about Content Cloud?**

Very expensive. Billing is difficult. You have to sign up for products you may not need to get products you do need.

You can pick articles and email bulletins.

 ### 9. One stop shop for all your P&C materials

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle M. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Content Cloud?**

There are tons of articles and information on all things Property & Casualty. We can always find an short article or information sheet on whatever topic is hot with our client. We include one piece of marketing material (they allow you to brand the pieces with your own logo!) with each client communication or renewal. You can also set up emailing campaigns on a specific topic for the next year - set it and forget it!

**What do you dislike about Content Cloud?**

They assign a Zywave rep to you once you commit, and our person was relentless in getting usto use their services... it's almost like they get a bonus if they can get you "off and running". Something must be motivating that person because they were very persistent to get everyone trained and get the first campaign set up. I admit, we were a little slower than we wanted, but that should be our problem.

**Recommendations to others considering Content Cloud:**

If you are looking to beef up your marketing efforts and provide educational materials to your staff and clients, this is a phenomenal resource to try.

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We include one piece of marketing material (they allow you to brand the pieces with your own logo!) with each client communication or renewal. You can also set up emailing campaigns on a specific topic for the next year - set it and forget it! Makes you look like you have a big marketing department behind you when you really don't have a single person in your office dedicated to just marketing.

 ### 10. Broker Briefcase Benefits Reveiw

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mallory W. | Benefits Analyst, Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2017

**What do you like best about Content Cloud?**

You can find just about anything from IRS guidelines, ACA reporting as well as the norm in the industry. This is a very helpful tool when you want to do a quick search

**What do you dislike about Content Cloud?**

You have to know exactly what it is you are searching for. You cannot type something similar and expect to sift through a bunch of information. Since there is so much, it can be time-consuming

**Recommendations to others considering Content Cloud:**

Make sure you have a general idea of what you are looking for. Otherwise, since there is so much information, this can be time consuming.

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a one-stop shop for items that you may not know for sure but has helpful articles to share and get a better idea of different topics.

 ### 11. Broker Briefcase is a fantastic resource to pull informational pieces to present to clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie U. | Client Representative, Insurance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2017

**What do you like best about Content Cloud?**

The site is extremely user friendly and I have never not found a piece of information that I was looking for. Broker Briefcase features the latest trends in benefits as well. I like that it has informational pieces that are current to out of state clients. It is very easy to find information, download it, and send it over to clients. I also like that the videos can be sent straight to an employee or to Human Resources.

**What do you dislike about Content Cloud?**

I have not found anything bad about Broker Briefcase. It provides us so many resources to present to clients and is always up to date with the latest changes that are happening within healthcare. The only dislike I would say is that sometimes I cannot find what I am looking for to send to a client and have to go to another site like this to find the information I am looking to send out.

**Recommendations to others considering Content Cloud:**

A great resource for information to send to clients and become more knowledgeable on subjects yourself.

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving informational pieces to clients for them to become more informative on topics such as: COBRA, FMLA, Wellness, Compliance, etc. I always go to Broker Briefcase to look up information on a subject I am not 100% familiar with. It is a great source for me, especially when clients are from out of state and I can find informational pieces to share with them regarding the state that the company resides in.

 ### 12. Fantastic

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2017

**What do you like best about Content Cloud?**

The library of resources available is incredible! We now have instant access to thousands of articles, coverage checklists and guides allows us to efficiently service our clients, while staying up to date with the most relevant and accurate information.

**What do you dislike about Content Cloud?**

When creating an email, you have to edit and send all at once. There is no option to save the email to drafts and pick it up later.

**Recommendations to others considering Content Cloud:**

Pricey, but worth it!

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resources that have previously taken us hours to create on our own are available in an instant. Their library has allowed us to focus on new prospects and clients more efficiently, but still providing information we know to be accurate and relevant.

 ### 13. Broker Briefcase Offers a Wealth of Information

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2017

**What do you like best about Content Cloud?**

Broker Briefcase offers a agents a wealth of information to be shared with their clients. No matter the topic, you can find something relevant to your problem. It also offers users continuing education in areas of their interest.

**What do you dislike about Content Cloud?**

The current program to email clients out, needs to monitor CTR rates better. In addition, a function like those of MailChimp for email marketing monitoring could be beyond helpful, especially when emailing multiple clients materials.

**Recommendations to others considering Content Cloud:**

It's a great product to learn more. However, if your looking to find a platform that tracks what your sending, I would consider either using the program in conjunction with an email marketing program, or finding a different program all together.

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently solving the issue of emailing my clients relevant information, in addition to using the information on the website to better inform myself of areas I'm currently unfamiliar with.

 ### 14. Lots of Content, Spelling/Grammatical Errors

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Content Cloud?**

Lots of different areas are covered for benefits and wellness. Like the different themes, making it easy to identify the type of content I want to use or review.

**What do you dislike about Content Cloud?**

Spelling and Grammatical errors. I would never provide one of these documents to a client directly because I just can't trust their review. Also, they host a lot of outdated documents on the system which can make it hard to find the best choice.

**Recommendations to others considering Content Cloud:**

Check for errors

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's handy to have most of the information you could want in one place, with lots of different formats. It's a good resource for employees who do not have insurance/hr background

Every broker has access to the information, so it isn't original.

**Recommendations to others considering Content Cloud:**

If you don't have your own internal legal and compliance resources to write this content or get it to your customers in a timely fashion, then this is a great tool.

**What problems is Content Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**
