We did run in to a snag that we could not get the Widget to load on a GoDaddy Pages website (GoDaddy does not expose the website header to editing in the editor) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The all-in-one approach is what stands out most. Clym covers both data privacy compliance (consent management, cookie banners, privacy policy generation) and web accessibility (WCAG/ADA widget and accessibility statement) in a single platform. As a web agency building sites for associations and nonprofits, this saves us from managing multiple tools. Installation on WordPress is straightforward, and the platform automatically set up Google Consent Mode on our client's site without extra configuration. The Clym for Good program, which provides access to qualifying nonprofits, has been a huge value-add we can offer our clients. The auto-generated legal documents (privacy policy, accessibility statement, etc.) are a great starting point, but they do require some review and customization by the organization to ensure they accurately reflect their specific practices and policies. It would be helpful to have more guided prompts during the document generation process to minimize manual follow-up. I like the fact that Clym Inc. is pretty much plug & play - we drop code into our header and the widget is added to our website. It's great that very little configuration was needed from our small staff of 5, which saves us time and helps us to comply with ADA standards. I also like that visitors to our site can view our website based on their ability, making it more accessible. What I like most about Clym is that it solves two problems at once, data privacy compliance and accessibility, all in a single, affordable tool. We were paying over $100 for two separate vendors per month before, and now we get everything with Clym for $49/month, saving us more than $600 per year. The platform handles GDPR, US regulations, and even comes with Google Consent Mode V2 automatically implemented. Everything is set by default, but it’s also very flexible if you want to customize rules for specific countries, which I didn’t see with other competitors. On top of that, the accessibility widget is included, so it’s a real bonus.

Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike. If I had to point out something, it would be the footer links, which are not a requirement, but still... That said, their support team makes up for it quickly, so it hasn’t been a real blocker for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

RAIN has been very pleased with how Clym supports accessibility for our website visitors. First, it's FREE! So cost is not an obstacle! Second, it's easy to get implemented and integrated on our website, as Clym handled the process from start to finish to allow us to get started quickly with very minimal effort on our part. Third, and most importantly, Clym allows us to reach our membership in ways that we could not before by tackling potential obstacles for some of our members -color blindness, ADHD, Dyslexia, Seizures, etc. And, the small icon at the bottom of our home page is not distracting and raises awareness to those with these needs to quickly implement the Clym features to suit their own personal needs to make the interaction and engagement on the website a better experience for them. Honestly, I would recommend this product to every company because it is a huge benefit to many of our members, has no cost, and requires minimal effort on our part to provide this benefit.
