Service desk tends to be slow. What used to take 1 week or less now takes 2 to 3 weeks minimum.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Chrome River is a rapidly growing company. They are very responsive when they get the same feedback from multiple customers. However, they are slow on a day to day basis when we need our routing rules modified. It takes 2-3 weeks to make a change, where it used to only take about one week or less.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Paper invoices used to get lost or held up on someone's desk. Now the secretary or staff person scans the invoice into Chrome River. Approvals are easy via e-mail. And our vendors are paid more timely!
Also, we were able to reduce our accounting staff by not replacing those departing the firm shortly after implementing Chrome River's Invoice product. We were able to move to a more decentralized approach where everyone in the firm that receives vendor invoices is ultimately responsible for getting them entered into Chrome River. Because Chrome River is so easy to use, that was not a difficult undertaking in the last.
