Um... not much good that I can say about this program. We recently switched to it and it has made my life harder. Not to say that the old version of Elite was much better, but still. Apparently 3E is solving problems on our accounting side, but I am not privy to those benefits. All I have seen is time entries lost in the transfer from the old desktop version. What do you dislike about 3E Elite? If you have multiple screens up, sometimes 3E times out and you have to go back to the home page to reload. The purpose for our law firm is that 3E facilitates a paperless workflow system. It is easy to bill time by listing the client/matter, providing a brief description, and time spent. Elite rounds off time and allows you to easily submit diaries in batches. Timers make it easy to account for many different client/matters in each day. Also helpfully reminds you of unsubmitted time from days prior when launching the program. Often will not imput time after the program has been running for a few hours and needs to be refreshed often to function, especially when using timers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Providing easy-to-track methods of reviewing time allotted to different clients. Rounds off time in small enough increments to make it possible to account very small amounts of time to a single client, but not small enough to make the hours messy. I implemented Elite a few years ago for a smaller firm -- there are many features which only a mid to large size firm would every need.
