"Zentrale Planung & Personalisierung trotz Komplexität"
4/5
What do you like best about Braze?

Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong for campaign management and segmentation, but complex filtering and analytics"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

They’re indispensable to me because they help me organize campaigns, reach the right customers, and make messages more relevant. Together, they save time, improve engagement, and make it easier to manage customer communication effectively. Email and push notifications worked well together, especially for coordinating campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

Advanced data filtering feels complicated when I’m trying to create very specific audience segments. Journey Mapping gets confusing when a customer journey has many steps and conditions. With Reporting/Analytics, when there are a lot of data, finding the exact insights I need can sometimes take extra time. SMS and other channels can still feel a bit disconnected, particularly when managing more complex customer journeys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong for personalized, timely multi-channel campaigns, but templates and list uploads frustrate"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I love Braze for Email Marketing, Marketing Automation, and Data Import/Export because they let us deliver personalized and timely communications at scale, automate key customer journeys, and use accurate data for segmentation, targeting, and performance analysis. It also coordinates campaigns very well across email, WhatsApp, SMS, banners, and in-app messages. Real-time data really helps create campaigns with relevant personalization and timely messages. The Liquid function is very useful for personalizing templates and HTML code, and it helps with specific segmentation needs like creating buckets for IP warming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

Template Management feels limited for more advanced email design needs, so I typically prefer building templates outside the platform. Audience Segmentation can also be frustrating when I need to upload a specific list of users who already exist in Braze, since the process is not always as simple or flexible as it should be. "Empowers Email Marketing with Effective Segmentation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I really like Braze's segmentation tool and custom attributes, as they allow me to create personalized messaging for different audience segments. This has been really useful for increasing engagement, especially for our post-beta test in the gaming company I work for. Another aspect I appreciate is how user-friendly Braze is; it's very easy to create the canvas and campaigns. Even though the initial setup took some time, mainly involving data migration, the platform's ease of use makes everyday tasks straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I think the measuring of results could be better. Usually, I have to depend on other tools for revenue measurement because different games have different steam links. I wish there was a centralized way to measure them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Coordinated cross-channel engagement with generally timely personalization"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I like that push notifications, in-app messages, emails, and content cards work well together, giving a consistent and coordinated customer experience across channels. The attribution, activity tracking, and campaign analysis are indispensable for attributing user acquisition, tracking user behavior, and measuring campaign performance so I can do data-driven personalization and optimization. Personalization is usually timely and relevant, especially when it’s based on recent user activity and behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

Managing multiple channels can be frustrating, especially avoiding notification overload and trying to get real-time insights without complex setup or delays. Some features can be complex to set up, time-consuming to manage, and require enough data and resources to deliver meaningful results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dynamic Email Marketing with Solid Features but Room for Improvements"
4/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I like Braze for its features like Catalog and liquid personalization. The in-built translations save me from needing third-party tools like Smartling. I also appreciate the price drop and back-in-stock notifications. It's easy to use with no loading issues and has great email templates. These features make my work in email marketing and customer engagement more effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I think Braze has a few areas where it could improve. First, it would be great if there was an option to publish changes directly instead of having to remap everything. Also, the content blocks could use more features to enhance functionality. Building a landing page should be more straightforward and user-friendly. Regarding unsubscribing, implementing a double opt-in process would be much better than the current single opt-in. Once a user clicks unsubscribe, they're immediately unsubscribed, which might not always be ideal. A preference page for users would also be a nice addition to give more control over their subscription settings. Lastly, the initial setup of Braze was quite challenging, although it becomes easier once it's up and running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile Platform with Stellar Personalization"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I like Braze's flexibility and how quickly campaigns can be launched without heavy technical support. Features such as reusable content blocks and real-time dynamic personalization deliver relevant experiences. The ability to build and visualize multi-step customer journeys with canvas flow is great. I value audience segmentation, custom events, and liquid personalization. A/B testing is also helpful for improving customer experience. Overall, its ease of use compared to other tools like Salesforce and the very easy initial setup process make it a 10 out of 10 recommendation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

Braze could improve its reporting and make advanced analytics more flexible and easier to customize. It would be helpful to have more flexible dashboards, flexible cross-channel attribution, and deeper drill downs to every individual journey step and audience segment. Easier report scheduling and exports, longer data retention, and clearer metrics would also be beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Design, Minor Lag Issues"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I like Braze for its ease of moving content around using the drag and drop feature for newsletters. It's really intuitive to figure out how to change things. I also appreciate how easily you can switch what a button should do, and that you can put in a body of text that will be filled out in advance for the client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

It lags a bit sometimes, so when I'm changing the text for the email that opens up when someone clicks a button, it jumps down to the end and starts editing there instead of where I want to. This could be an issue with Braze or maybe my internet connection, so I don't have specific suggestions on how to fix it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Marketing with Impressive Data Transformation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I really like how Braze handles data transformations; it's pretty interesting. Action-based triggers and media triggers are also helpful because they assist me in gathering data from different platforms and updating user profiles as needed. Setting up Braze was straightforward too, thanks to the dedicated engineers and training sessions, which included webinars and a learning path with certifications, making it easy to understand how to work with the data architecture and build emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I feel that Braze could really improve when it comes to personalization on a landing page. Right now, it doesn't fully support extensive scripting like it does for emails, which would be great if we could apply that level of personalization to landing pages too. Also, there's a limit to how many landing pages we can build. It would be really helpful if we could create more pages, maybe at least 50, without having to upgrade the tiers. This would allow us to utilize the platform more efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly, Flexible with Some Reporting Limits"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I really appreciate how user-friendly Braze is. Most of the features are very intuitive, which makes it easy to build, test, and optimize campaigns without needing a very technical setup for every change. I also like the flexibility Braze offers through tools like Liquid snippets, content blocks, catalogs, and connected content, which make personalization much more scalable. Overall, Braze does a great job of combining usability with advanced personalization and automation capabilities. The main factor in our decision to switch from Salesforce was Braze's greater flexibility and ease of use for building personalized, real-time, and multi-channel customer journeys. What do you dislike about Braze?

One area that could be improved is the Teams feature. Since we use a single workspace for multiple countries, Teams is very important for us, but it is still a bit limited, especially for reporting. For example, in Report Builder, we cannot filter results by Team. This makes country-level analysis more manual, especially when comparing performance across markets. It would also be helpful to have Team-based views for key metrics, easier exports, and more flexibility to build reports that respect the same Team structure we use operationally.
