**What do you like best about BrassRing?**

I love how I have full control of not only our data but also how our environment looks for users and candidates.  There are drag and drop template builders for the gateways, as well as the ability to edit the CSS to fully customize the candidates experience.  The support is the best I have ever used and the team is absolutely amazing.  We can pull reports on anything in the system and see a candidates full history in a just a couple of clicks.  There's no overcomplication or hidden fees.  I am able to set up automations to save my team time very quickly because it automatically sends communications to candidates, files them, and updates them with just the click of a button, the bonus is it takes me just minutes to set them up.  The integrations are really easy as well, and we can integrate with almost any system or with a simple XML feed.  We have used BrassRing for over 20 years and the improvements over the last 6 are beyond anything I have seen before, it's almost a completely different system but it was rolled out so well that there wasn't learning curve, it was a natural transition.  We have not experienced any downtime or slowdowns in several years.  Even with all of the additional products that we have added on our cost is still extremely below other products that we have had demos of.  The AI Chat Bot is my new favorite feature, we can put in our own text and we even gave it a name, and it works very well.  They also have a portal where you can submit ideas for system improvements and I have seen most of them already be implemented or they are working on it.  The one-on-one relationship is the most unexpected benefit that I feel is the most important.  They really listen to their customers and always work with you to ensure that you are getting the most out of the system.

**What do you dislike about BrassRing?**

BrassRing was developed for companies to hire for their company.  We use it to work with candidates in several stages and get them jobs with other companies.  We have had to do a lot of tweaking to make it work.  However, the team at BrassRing has supported us every step of the way and is always there to help us figure out the best way to make it work for us.

**What problems is BrassRing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do everything in BrassRing.  Candidates register for job search assistance, resume assistance, training, or to just submit to jobs.  Our team is able to see where their skills gaps are at a glance to give them the best opportunity to get the job that they want. The companies that we work with are able to post their own jobs to ensure that it's exactly how they want it written.  We also have several partners that work in the system alongside our team and we are able to easily keep their candidates and our candidates separated.

I love the ease of use and the platform's ability to use AI technology to assist with candidate management. I now have more time to develop meaningful relationships with my candidates and new hires. Customer service is amazing to support your needs and questions.

It was a little difficult to navigate at first but the customizable options make it so much easier once you learn how to navigate the platform.

The IBM Kenexa Talent Acquisition Suite is the answer to all the Human Resources concerns in one place. It provides the best platform to recruit through the Brassring and to engage and retain talent through its succession, compensation, and performance management solutions.

There isn't much to dislike about the Suite, however, one has experienced that it is time taking to complete the process. The process can definitely be speedy.

Large or small, domestic or international, compliance-heavy or flexible, the product is highly customizable and can meet the needs of any customer. Working with this tool in global settings and high volume over the years, I've seen a dedication to staying on top of industry trends, as well as a renewed focus on being cutting edge and utilizing IBM's industry expertise. This while maintaining the relationship focus that made Kenexa a sought-after business partner.

**What do you dislike about BrassRing?**

The reporting section can be difficult to navigate at times. It could take as little as a few minutes to get the information you need from a report. - The simplest of tasks can take a long time.

**Recommendations to others considering BrassRing:**

GSC advice is often subpar or incorrect, so you'll need an experienced administrator. Your boss should be able to tell whether or not you'll benefit from a piece of advice.

**What problems is BrassRing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Human resources professionals (such as HR directors) can benefit from this platform as well, as Big Data and analytics can be used to help find and attract the best employees. IBM uses this platform primarily for this purpose: finding and attracting top employees. Throughout the employee lifecycle, Kenexa provides a wide range of human resources solutions to help companies acquire, train, and develop their employees. The product is a cloud-based solution that works with both Mac and mobile devices that are connected to the internet.

To use IBM Kenexa, HR can do quick screening the candidate, and make a candidate pipeline in the Software itself. It will be useful for outsourcing and managing end to end hiring process.

IBM Kaxena only providing the options of managing the candidate information and details. They are provided a option of scheduling interview in the software with the hiring manager. If we need to schedule an interview, we need to go for teams or gmeet.

We are able to add the resources details and maintain their information for the future purpose. Using this software, HR can quickly start the onboard the process for employees.

This is super easy to use and super effective. I never have to ask anyone for help, because I can do this all on my own. It's so easy. You can use it too no matter your age.

The downsides include no app that I'm aware of. Apps are easy and quick to use, but this makes me go to a website to use it

The support team for Kenexa is great! You can utilize this team to solve problems quickly.

We are a large company that posts multiple requisitions a day and Kenexa has been great for that. It is easy to manage reqs in Kenexa and keep track of all the candidates on a single req. It's easy to move from req to req.

Operation slows down if integrated with other tools. When I used it, tool was combined with HireAlchamey's Edge, Talview, and internal BGV tool.
Not user friendly for external candidates, trying to apply or upload candidature

**Recommendations to others considering BrassRing:**

I learned from procurement that IBM Kenexa Talent Acquisition Suite is a very expensive software and strongly felt it was overprosied. It is also outdated and not so user friendly. If your organization uses SAP for HRMS/Operation/payroll-related modules, it can be integrated very well. However, there are a lot of good options available in the market in less price.

**What problems is BrassRing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used IBM Kenexa for ATS activities, Report generation, initiating background verification.
The only benefit I could think of is that tool can support multiple users and multiple log-ins.

Finding out duplicate entries in Kenexa is a bit difficult which is one thing that I dislike about Kenexa.

I would like to recommend Kenexa to companies that would want a way to store the information regarding candidates who have attempted interviews in their company.

Compilation of information regarding candidates and their status is one issue that Kenexa has solved.

I like the ability to move between various versions of the platform and

Way to many clicks to accomplish anything, can't seem to find a way to filter candidates by salary, availability, shift preferences, etc., doesn't appear to do a keyword search to rule out unqualified candidates - which leaves you to have to look through far more resumes, no way for the recruiter to make the correct resume the default on behalf of the candidate to send to hiring managers after they've been improperly loaded through a 3rd party website; talent match feature is not effective.

**Recommendations to others considering BrassRing:**

Needs to be more user-friendly for all levels of HR and managers; less steps and clicking to get to the final result would help as well.

**What problems is BrassRing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I thought that recordkeeping for auditing purposes would be a benefit, however I've seen some documentation disappear after a year or two. I don't work in HRIS so I'm not sure if it was deliberate or not - this is not consistent in each profile.

I'm not sure I can say there is anything I like "best." It is what it is. I guess it is nice you can customize your home page with the screens you need to see.

**What do you dislike about BrassRing?**

Not intutive or user friendly; interface is very old looking, when you have candidates on multiple pages, it is VERY difficult to get thorugh all the pages. When you click 'next,' the screen goes blank or doesn't load. I have to get creative on how to view all the candidates or I have to completely leave the requisition altogether and go back in. This gets very, very frustrating.

The integration of this platform into our career site has been challenging - customer service has been awful.

**What problems is BrassRing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this platform to keep track of all of our requisitions and candidates within each. Because I recruit from universities specifically and additionally use their platform, it is helpful that this platform has the abilty for me to utilize the "campus gateway" posting solely and therefore doesn't require me to field candidats who aren't qualified.

Simplicity to customize your view, progressing the candidate further in each step of interview and hiring features are my favorite.

I like almost all features but the search feature can be improved. also in a single page we can see very few profile and need to go to next page.

I use it for Recruitment. it help me seamlessly compare resumes, move the candidates in different status. and help geenrate report as well.

The tests do not count a slow browser against you and questions are rotated to avoid cheating. The individual questions are not timed (on the clerical and corrective proofreading tests) but the test itself is timed which was a unique feature in allowing candidates to self-monitor.

**What do you dislike about BrassRing?**

By the way questions are so strangely worded, I don't know if it's an accurate representation of a proofreader's true abilities. The tests do not cover proofreading symbols or model the way a proofreader works. I could see some strong candidates being discounted because of their scores.

Use it cautiously. Don't neglect traditional methods of evaluating candidates.

It gives you some basis for comparing similar candidates and trends in testing can be telling (if you miss more than a couple of the same questions you may have a weak spot).

I love how it's a on stop shop for getting candidates, storing their info and hiring new hires. It's easy. I can do everything from the one window.

I feel it looks a bit outdated, even the new experience that they just rolled out. It reminds me of an older talent acquisition website. I work in marketing, I'd like to have a new and modern feel to programs I use.

I appreciate the updated look to Kenexa but there is long road a head. it needs to be more modern, more sleek.

We're able to keep track and record of referrals and applicants. We've fixed our organization issues. No more missing resume! Also, we've insured that we have done every step during the onboarding progress by using the Onboard Manager! It is a life saver!

The interface is uncomplicated and simple, most of the features are organized on a single tab rather than in submenus. 

**What do you dislike about BrassRing?**

The fonts are small and the layout feels outdated. Because so much of the menu tracking is based on hyperlinks, easy errors like pressing the back button can completely ruin sessions. The webpages frequently exhibit formatting issues when viewed on different browsers. 

**Recommendations to others considering BrassRing:**

For basic features and ease of use, most of Kenexa's functionality is adequate. The IBM support resources are robust but I would recommend serious consideration of a more modern product prior to a full enterprise rollout.

Digitally centralizing requisitions, subsequent applications, and monitoring hiring processes. Because the information is cloud based, it can be easily accessed anywhere.

Kenexa allows me to view multiple applicants quickly with a great home page that lists all the current requisitions and number of new entries vs total entries. I also really like that all onboarding is paperless and it makes the day 1 orientation to much smoother.

Working for a large company with numerous different locations, an applicant can apply for a position and everyone can see and act on the entry - would be easier if it listed an applicant's preferred location or just locked out other locations from seeing them once the screening process began.

Kenexa alleviates the workload involved in the hiring process. It also gives me a checklist to make sure all onboarding is correct and completed before day one orientation.

When I used Kenexa I found it worked well as a CRM, housing notes and contacts' details in easy to find directories with good search abilities.

Nothing jumps out at me but I remember wishing it had some of the more recent parsing abilities other CRMs had. For all I know it know has those capabilities.

I feel it is a solid ATS and I enjoyed using it. Depending our your organizations needs this ATS should be considered.
