# Which employee perks platforms allow customizable reward catalogs by department or geographic location?

We're trying to figure out which employee perks platforms allow customizable reward catalogs by department or geographic location. We're rolling out a perks program across multiple regions and what quickly became clear is that a single global catalog isn't going to cut it. Different teams have different needs and what resonates in one location doesn't always land in another.

A few options from the employee perks software category that seem to handle this well:

Vantage Circle: Supports global reward catalogs with regional customization. Does the localization actually extend to meaningful catalog differences by geography, or is it mostly currency and language adjustments?

Compt: The stipend-based model inherently allows employees to spend on what's relevant to them locally. Is this a better approach than a curated catalog for geographically dispersed teams?

Perkbox: Offers catalog options across multiple markets. How granular does the department or location-level customization actually get in practice?

Coverflex: Flexible compensation structure that can be configured differently by team or region. Does this make it easier to manage perks equity across different cost-of-living environments?

Corporate Traditions: Recognition and milestone-based, which can be configured around local cultural norms. Is recognition customization as important as catalog customization when it comes to perks relevance?

For multi-region rollouts, catalog customization matters most when employee needs, currencies, tax rules, or local availability differ meaningfully. A global catalog can work, but only if it supports local relevance rather than just translation.

I’d look for department and location-level eligibility rules, localized vendors, budget controls, approval workflows, and reporting by region. Stipend-based models can also work well because they give employees flexibility without HR having to maintain every catalog variation manually.
