It is fully integrated with our LMS (Brighstpace), allowing teachers and students to connect fast. It is possible to use Bongo to assess students using video assignments, you can even offer alternatives to coevaluate the work of the students. **What do you dislike about Bongo?** The interface. It could be more user-friendly. The lack of windows with warning messages or explanation of errors make its use sometimes tricky. It would be a significant improvement if you could have different tabs for each activity: meeting, individual assignment, and group assignment. **What problems is Bongo solving and how is that benefiting you?** At the university, we are using Bongo to improve online communication between teachers and students, it is a great tool to manage online classes. It is also great for a more involved presentation and allows you to screen share with others. **What do you dislike about Bongo?** Nothing so far. It's an authentic assessment of any type of oral presentation whether you need to practice interviewing or soft skills, or conduct a screenshare presentation. **What do you dislike about Bongo?** The video processing time was improved, but still not as fast as other platforms. Lack of notifications that should be sent to peers, faculty or learners that an assignment was submitted, peer reviewed, or graded w/ feedback. **What problems is Bongo solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use bongo to help students practice soft skills like empathy and other ways to communicate professionally, as well as using it for mock interviews. We were also using it for employee leadership training in emotional intelligence, communication and coaching. We have a distinguished program, as not other universities typically teach soft skills. However, they are quick to answer. I also wish we could upload videos from youtube for the Q&A. **Recommendations to others considering Bongo:** Bongo is a very affordable tool that integrates well into Canvas. Students can submit oral recordings, to which instructors can respond orally or by text. Oral feedback is a game-changer when working on students' pronunciation. I recommend it for anyone teaching world languages and particularly to those giving feedback on pronunciation. We needed to allow our end-users to submit video prompts as part of their learning assignments, and our overall process consisted of a lot of manual work from both the learner and the grader. Overall it's helped us decrease a lot of manual effort on both sides. **What do you dislike about Bongo?** Nothing in particular. We would love to see a more comprehensive dashboard and UI/UX for administrators that would make it easier for them to review and grade submissions. **What problems is Bongo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allowed us to have everything integrated onto one platform, rather than using multiple hosting sites or cloud applications. ### 14.
