**What do you like best about Billo?**

The platform has been very easy to use, and the process of finding and working with creators has been smooth from start to finish. We’ve received high-quality UGC content that fits our brand well, and the communication with creators has been great. Overall, Billo has been a very helpful tool for expanding our content library and testing different creative approaches. Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

The main thing I would improve is having more flexibility and control when selecting creators. It would also be helpful to have more detailed creator profiles and performance data before choosing someone. Overall, though, the experience has been very positive.

**What problems is Billo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billo makes it much easier to find creators and produce authentic UGC content without having to manage the entire outreach and production process ourselves. It saves us time, gives us access to a variety of creators and content styles, and helps us continuously test new creative ideas for our products and marketing campaigns.

**What do you like best about Billo?**

It’s easy to use, and you can get videos quickly for new campaigns. Its priced very reasonably, I like the add on and customizable options.

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

The creators could be curated better. There’s a wide variety, but it takes time to vet them for our campaigns. That said, there’s plenty to choose from, and if you know what to look for, you can still find the right match.

**What problems is Billo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are times when we need videos quickly, and with Billo we can launch a project and receive the final videos within a week, which helps a lot. We don’t have a large UGC budget, and this platform helps us fill that gap as we curate creative assets.

**What do you like best about Billo?**

I use Billo for sourcing creators, and it helps with speed when dealing with clients. I like how easy it is to use and how quickly I can find creators. The customer service is a standout feature for me; real humans provide support, often within an hour. Additionally, the combination of platform ease and the support from client agents make Billo valuable.

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

Having to email support to add other people at the company to brands. Not having a full agency list of past creators, likes, or favorites is inconvenient, as I have to go into each sub-brand to find that information. Additionally, creators are not searchable for rehire, which makes the process less efficient.

**What problems is Billo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Billo for UGC content. It helps by sourcing creators quickly and has great customer service with fast human support.

**What do you like best about Billo?**

Billo has been a really strong solution for scaling UGC without adding a lot of operational overhead to our team.

From a UI/UX standpoint, the platform is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Creating briefs, uploading scripts, and managing projects is straightforward, and there isn’t much of a learning curve. It’s clear that the workflow was designed with marketers in mind, which makes day-to-day use efficient.

The core value really comes from how streamlined the process is. We’re able to create a brief, push it out to creators, and then review applicants all in one place. Having the ability to choose creators based on fit is a big advantage, especially when you’re trying to maintain brand consistency across different pieces of content.

In terms of performance, turnaround times have been solid and predictable. We’re able to get content produced much faster than we could managing this process manually, and the quality is generally aligned with what we’re looking for when the brief is clear.

On the pricing/ROI side, it’s been worth it for us. When you factor in the time saved from sourcing creators, managing communication, and coordinating deliverables, it’s actually quite cost-effective. It allows our team to focus more on strategy and optimization rather than execution-heavy tasks.

Support and onboarding have also been smooth. The platform is easy enough to pick up quickly, but when needed, the support team has been responsive and helpful.

From an integrations and AI perspective, this isn’t necessarily the strongest area, but it’s also not a core need for us in this workflow. The value of Billo is more in its simplicity and execution rather than advanced automation or AI-driven features.

Overall, Billo has helped us significantly reduce the bandwidth required for UGC production while still giving us control over creative output. It’s been a reliable tool for increasing content volume without overloading the team.t relatively low.

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

While Billo has been very helpful overall, there are a few areas where it could improve.

At times, the quality of creators can be a bit inconsistent. While you do have control over selection, it can still take some trial and error to consistently find creators that fully match your brand voice and expectations. This can occasionally add an extra review cycle.

The platform is also somewhat limited when it comes to integrations and advanced workflow automation. If you’re looking to plug this directly into a broader marketing tech stack or automate parts of the process, there isn’t a ton of flexibility there right now.

From a creative standpoint, results are highly dependent on how detailed and clear your brief is. If instructions aren’t very specific, you may end up needing revisions, which can slow things down slightly.

Pricing can also add up if you’re producing a high volume of content regularly. While the ROI makes sense in many cases, it’s something that needs to be actively managed to ensure efficiency at scale.

Lastly, while the platform is easy to use, there isn’t a lot of advanced functionality or AI-driven optimization built in yet. It does the core job well, but there’s room for growth in terms of smarter recommendations or performance insights.

Overall, none of these are dealbreakers, but they are areas where the platform could continue to evolve.

Billo is primarily solving the challenge of scaling UGC production without requiring a large amount of internal time and resources.

Before using Billo, creating UGC meant manually sourcing creators, handling outreach, negotiating, coordinating deliverables, and managing timelines. That process was time-consuming and difficult to scale, especially as content demands increased across multiple brands and channels.

With Billo, that entire workflow is centralized and much more efficient. We’re able to quickly create briefs, distribute them to a pool of creators, and select talent that aligns with our needs—all within one platform. This has significantly reduced the operational burden on our team.

The biggest benefit has been the ability to produce more content, faster, without increasing headcount or stretching our team thin. It’s allowed us to shift our focus away from execution-heavy tasks and spend more time on strategy, testing, and performance optimization.

Ultimately, it’s helped us keep up with the growing demand for UGC while maintaining control over quality and brand alignment, which has been a big win from a marketing efficiency standpoint.

I love two things about Billo. First is the creator database where I can pick and choose creators based on data like their past performance and hook rate, instead of just going by appearances or sound. The support team is another aspect I appreciate. They handle content reviews and ensure that the quality is up to par, which saves me time and reduces hassle, as I don't have to be the sole judge of quality. The initial setup of Billo was very easy, taking just minutes to get familiar with the platform, and it's incredibly intuitive with no steep learning curve or need for extensive onboarding. I think the quality of the creators is great and I love the editing features that you can add on. It's really easy to create new script ideas with Billo. The in-house editing add-on and script writing are my favorite tools. They're valuable because they allow you to create UGC content in one place without needing to use external editors or write scripts in a different program. The initial setup was super easy and very quick.

Our account team is a big help, when we need to make post-approval edits! The platform is user/budget friendly and offers a big choice of creators.

not much, but I guess once you hit APPROVE, it's hard to go back and make an edit. This is where our account team is valuable. Also, the inability to do a 16:9 and 9:16 format on the same brief.

**What do you like best about Billo?**

I like that Billo handles all the admin aspects, like licensing, payment, and creator relationships, making it realistic for our small studio to work with lots of creators without extra hassle. The transparent pricing is great because we know the cost of a video before briefing, which helps us plan our budgets clearly. I also find the creator filters very useful, especially for finding creators with pets, which is beneficial for our projects. The delivery timelines are clear, and I've often found that they are beaten by the creators, which is a pleasant surprise. The support team is helpful, and the straightforward, self-serve setup made it easy to sign up and brief within the same week, even though the first brief took longer. Overall, Billo makes commissioning UGC more of a routine process instead of a big project, allowing us to test videos at known costs and have them ready in a realistic timeline.

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

I'd like improvements with iterating on winning videos. When a video performs well, it's awkward to get the same creator for variations like different hooks. This often requires extra assets or incurs a reshoot charge, which can lead to back-and-forth with support. Deliverables sometimes need more work, like pacing changes, and additional aspect ratios, which require our motion designer's touch. The quality can vary, but that's understandable. A support thread got closed for inactivity while I was waiting for a reply, needing the conversation to restart. Paying a large amount upfront is tough for smaller companies; invoicing options would help. The platform seems tailored for physical products which isn't perfect for our mobile games, where deeper engagement from creators is needed. Better support and tools for app and game advertisers would make a big difference. Also, a direct integration with Google Drive would be handy.

I use Billo to handle admin tasks, manage creator relationships, and plan budgets with transparent pricing. It allows us to maintain a steady flow of creative assets within a manageable budget, which we can't produce in-house. **What do you like best about Billo?**

I use Billo for getting UGC content and b-roll, especially for paid asset creation across platforms. I like the quick turn, reliable content at a fair price, and the easy payment process. The diversity of creators is a bonus. The process with Billo is really simple and straightforward from top to bottom, making sourcing, contracting, and getting content from creators much more efficient than individual off-SaaS outreach. The creators know what they're signing up for, so I don't have to establish quality standards or process explanations. It's also easy to keep track of where partnerships are in the process, like shipping and review. The initial setup was very easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

I wish there were more countries represented - love having UK folks but want additional locales like Ireland and other EU countries as we expand into those markets across TikTok shop and retail.

**What do you like best about Billo?**

I find Billo very easy to use, allowing me to set my own parameters and scripts effortlessly. I appreciate their great editing team, which includes both AI tools and human editors, letting me tailor videos for multiple channels. The editing tools are really helpful for creating smooth, natural videos and add quality closed captions, sound effects, and music. Switching to Billo from manual work has saved me a lot of time and money. The initial setup was incredibly easy, only taking a couple of minutes. It’s incredibly helpful for small teams that lack dedicated creative staff, essentially doing all the work for us.

**What do you like best about Billo?**

I find Billo pretty easy to use overall. I like that I can approve and reject creators easily. The filters are a great help to narrow down the types of people I'm looking for. Plus, being able to see some of the past work of those creators is a nice feature. I like the ability for requesting add-ons for each video, like asking for additional hooks, which can give the content a better chance when posting it as a paid ad. It makes it easy to reach out to specific creators who meet certain criteria, and there's a higher guarantee they will respond because it's a marketplace, unlike directly contacting creators on platforms like Instagram or TikTok. The centralized briefing system is convenient, eliminating the need for copying and pasting information frequently. Payment for creators is streamlined, avoiding the complexity of creating individual contracts. The capability to handle a large volume of creators also helps address our volume needs effectively.

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

The asset management part of Billo needs a lot of work. For instance, you can't download all the videos for a campaign in a single click. Instead, you have to download each video individually across different aspect ratios, which is really annoying. Sometimes, some creators don't fulfill what they promised, but Billo usually makes up for that by crediting our account. I also find the creator list a bit limited and getting lots of applications from the same creators is a challenge. Even though the videos may seem of a certain quality, the actual performance as paid ads isn't as high as we'd like, and paying more for premium creators hasn't shown a noticeable improvement. I find the video feedback process to creators a bit unintuitive, especially since it's hard to compare and watch the video while giving feedback because you have to use two separate screens. Additionally, file naming is a problem.

I find Billo makes it easy to connect with creators who meet specific criteria and centralizes the briefing system, reducing manual work. It also centralizes payments, eliminating the need for individual contracts. It's great for handling volume in our creator program.

**What do you like best about Billo?**

I like Billo's ability to source for thousands of creators and get UGC created very quickly. The feature that allows me to filter by age, gender, etc., is really useful because we have a specific persona of creator we want to work with, and Billo makes it easy for us to find them quickly.

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

The logistics once you hire a creator need a lot of improvement. I really don't like that creative is automatically approved and that you can't flat out reject a creative. I ended up paying for a lot of content we did not end up using, even after going back and forth with the creator. Billo also needs a better feedback system where you can give feedback at the exact second marker in the video.

I use Billo to source UGC creators quickly for our socials. It excels in quickly finding creators and managing outreach. However, the logistics need improvement, especially the inability to reject creative work and provide feedback precisely, which leads to wasted content spending.

Not much - very low pay for high expectations.

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

As a creator who has been creating content with Billo since August of 2021 I can promise you everything is good...until it's not.  EVERY single time there has been an issue with the client, Billo has taken the side of the client.  EVERY TIME. They want 10 scenes for a 30 second video that you tell them won't fit - they assure you it'll fit and to do your best. They needed to purchase a 60 second video, but they are being cheap.  This particular client wanted to use my horses, fields and cut a hole in my trough for a $40 pay out. Then you turn in the max 40 seconds (not getting paid for the extra 10 seconds) to get the max 2 edit requests for things you warned them about in the first place.  Then Billo will offer you a shameful $5-$10 to fix it even though you've already done that twice as best you can to fit. This last time was it for me.  The final video was 47 seconds for a 30 second gig. Had to spend extra time to cut it down.  Edit requests twice because I had to cut it down.  As expected, Billo reaches out, so I ask them to review the initial conversation where I told the client IT WON'T FIT before I accepted the gig (they reached out to ME to do the video). They do review the conversation, apologize and say the client is difficult. I think, FINALLY Billo recognizes some are simply unreasonable. They offer me $30 to redo it - I said I would but would need to upload differently since as I already stated - it exceeded the allowable upload time.  While I was paid for the video, I was not paid the additional promised money.  When I asked about it they said the client wasn't responding. Which as far as I'm concerned is not on me, that's on them. I completed my agreed upon obligation, Billo has not. I'm not new at this - I've completed 593 video with 100% on time delivery score and 4.86 of 5 star rating on 221 reviews.

It seemed to be a decent income if you did A LOT of videos for them before AI. Now it's almost useless and the clients have $5000 commercial expectations for $40 (literally, you get $40 for a 30 second video)

There are also a lot of great resources that make creating content and writing briefs easier, especially for smaller teams with less internal resources. The pricing is very competitive and we love that we can easily add on creator images as well to use throughout our marketing efforts and also on our website.

The platform is extremely user-friendly and easy to work with. It has enabled us to reach high-quality users who can very promptly follow our creative briefs, and the quality of videos is sufficient for the price we pay. I'm excited to continue using Billo to support our future creative needs. I like the ease of use and the affordability. The creator discovery is very easy and it matches us with users who are high quality and likely to fulfill our creative briefs. The initial setup was very easy, and although I was hoping for an invoice option, the credit card option works fine.

I use Billo for working with UGC creators and really like the fast turnaround times with quality assets that can be used for both paid social and organic testing. I appreciate Billo's easy UI, which makes it simple to submit briefs, source creators, and even communicate with them in real-time. The creators on the platform are also very fast and efficient. I found the initial setup of Billo to be super easy and straightforward, which I loved.

The help desk (chat function) can be a bit slow. When I started using Billo, it took multiple days for someone to get in touch with me. I would like more visibility in line or a real estimation on when I will be helped. A lot of notifications say they are experiencing higher volumes, which doesn't really tell me when I'll be assisted.

Billo provides fast turnaround times with quality assets for social testing. The easy UI helps me submit briefs, source, and communicate with creators swiftly, who are also very efficient.

**What do you like best about Billo?**

I really like how Billo allows us to find good quality UGC creators and work with them seamlessly, removing a lot of the admin work for me. I love that it eliminates a lot of back and forth in emails because everything is straightforward with clearly laid out requirements and parameters. Getting and requesting edits on videos is very seamless, and the ease of use stands out as well. I enjoy the new features like requesting whitelisting and other services, which are really helpful. Having all the creators on one platform is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

I don't like the lack of invoicing or financial reporting. I can't see which creator I've paid money to and how much I paid them. It would be really nice to have that detail. All I can see is how much money I've loaded into Billo, and how much money has come out of my account, but it doesn't say where it's going to or anything like that. So more detailed financial invoicing would be really beneficial.

I like that Billo is easy to use, which really helps with managing creators as it simplifies the process. The fixed pricing is another aspect I appreciate, which makes budgeting much easier. It's great for agencies because of the good prices, and I've found it to be better than trend.io. The initial setup was also easy, which was a relief.

If you spend $5k multiple times, they don't level up your account status. They force you to buy $10k in one shot for that status, which is weird. Also, when booking a creator, there are only two options (2 unique videos or 4 hooks), and both cost $393. They should have a lower tier option too.

I wish that you could easily request edits just from the Billo creative team, so not from the creator. There have been instances when I have needed, for example, the music turned down, and I've had to go through customer support to get the issue rectified.

Billo enables me to produce a larger quantity of quality content quickly. For Meta ads, this has proved invaluable, and despite the content being cheaper than a lot of the content I've received direct from the creator, it often performs just as well, if not better.

**What do you like best about Billo?**

It was easy to create my briefs, and the content I received was great. The creators have an easy systematized approach to creating short videos that work well for social media.

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

It's not made for everyday social media content, so it's only useful for creating advertising content such as unboxing videos, testimonials, and informative videos about the products. It would be wonderful to have the option to hire creators to do posts with another layer of creativity.

**Recommendations to others considering Billo:**

Be sure to know what you want your video to look like, and the essential words you want used. If you leave it up to the creator you may wish you'd said something later. Know your top 3 most essential pieces for inclusion.

**What problems is Billo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billo creators provide video content for small business advertisers at a set rate, so it's easy to budget and garner content pretty quickly. They have just a few types of content options available, making it easy to know what you can accomplish on the site.

We used Billo to outsource content creators to create UGC-style videos for advertising.

**What do you like best about Billo?**

Platform was super simple to use and provided seamless communication to the content creators. Sourcing creators was easy because all we had to upload a project description, and then several creators would submit an application.

**What do you dislike about Billo?**

Unfortunately, when we used the platform there weren't enough creators in our target demo, so we couldn't get the content we needed. This could change as the platform grows, so I'd be willing to try it out again.

**What problems is Billo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem we were solving with Billo was finding an easy way to outsource and manage UGC content. The best benefit was having users apply to create UGC content instead of looking for creators on social media.
