What do you like best about Benbase?

I really appreciate Benbase for making sure I spend less time dealing with benefits while giving my employees a higher touch service at a cheaper cost. Their great customer service and fantastic quality make a real difference. They even went out of their way to find a creative solution to offer a 'special' plan for a new employee mid-year to ensure he got the coverage he needed. Brad and the Benbase team were so incredibly helpful in getting our small company benefits for the year. I was able to offer our team a package that was comparable (and arguably better) than our previous employers. The Benbase team was great about answering any and all questions. "The Benbase Team is Excellent!"

What do you like best about Benbase?

My experience working with the Benbase team has been excellent. One of my clients recently moved off of ADP's PEO and brought benefits in-house. This was a year-long process of consulting with Benbase for plan design, pricing and optimal timing. The team was extremely thorough, patient, supportive and knowledgeable. They secured competitive plans and pricing for my client and were excellent partners in creating a transition strategy that had the least negative impact possible on the business and employees.

Their nationwide experience, combined with knowledge of how to leverage supplemental plans to create a stronger total benefits package, and their deep knowledge of the compliance requirements for employee benefit plans, including COBRA, HIPPA made them a reliable and trustworthy partner.

Benbase is also experienced in streamlining benefits processes/administration with technology tools, such as HRIS and HCM platforms that reduce error and improve the employee and administrator experience.

In terms of customer service, Benbase is in a category of one. They respond promptly and thoroughly and are a great resource for business leaders and for employees and dependents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Benbase worked with our company to help us transition away from ADP and over to a new HRIS systems which required us to transition our benefits as well. This was a complex and lengthy process to make sure the transition was seemless, our people received equal or better benefits, and that our costs did not increase. I am writing this dislike section because I have to. There is nothing to dislike Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Benbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

After struggling to find the right benefits solution for our startup, we almost went with Justworks or another standard payroll provider. Then we found Brad and the Benbase team, and I'm so glad we did.

From day one, they showed what makes them different. When we needed immediate enrollment support, Brad personally called us the same day. They worked across all our constraints on extremely short notice, something I've rarely experienced with other providers.

What really sets Benbase apart is their perfect balance of human support and technology. Their process is genuinely intuitive and the people are helpful. As someone managing benefits at a startup, I needed something that wouldn't add to my workload, and their process, software, and people actually made my life easier. I actually had a pretty good time...signing up and managing benefits and that was not something I expected!

The team has been incredibly responsive whenever questions arise. They didn't just set us up with generic plans - they helped us structure benefits packages that actually made sense for our company. They've been remarkably clear about deductions and reporting, which has given me confidence that we're handling everything correctly. And I know if an issue comes up I can trust them.

For any startup looking for a benefits provider that combines personal attention with modern technology, I can't recommend Benbase highly enough.
