"Azure review"
4/5
What do you like best about Azure Portal?

The intuitive and unified interface stands out the most. Azure Portal provides a centralized dashboard where I can manage all Azure services—from virtual machines and identity management to security policies and monitoring—without needing to switch tools. The real-time metrics, customizable dashboards, and integration with Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates make it extremely powerful for both beginners and advanced users. I also appreciate the role-based access control (RBAC) and security recommendations from Microsoft Defender for Cloud, which help enforce compliance and security standards. What do you dislike about Azure Portal?

While Azure Portal is feature-rich, it can sometimes feel overwhelming and unintuitive, especially for new users. The navigation structure isn’t always consistent, and some settings are deeply nested, making it hard to locate specific options quickly. Performance can also be an issue—pages occasionally load slowly, particularly when managing large environments. Additionally, some features are not fully integrated across services, causing confusion (e.g., duplicate settings for the same resource type or limited cross-service visibility). Lastly, error messages can be vague, which makes troubleshooting more difficult without relying on external documentation or support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Portal?

Some users find the interface inconsistent across services. Certain blades (panels) behave differently, and updates can change layouts without warning, leading to confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Completly dissatisfied with Microsoft Azure Portal"
1/5

What do you dislike about Azure Portal?

I made use of Azure Portal a short while ago. I made use of it so that I can prepare for the AZ-204 certificate. I got some free credit which I could use two months forward considering the establishment of my Azure account. However I run into difficulties when I started to establish the resources which were necessary for me to prepare for the exam. When I made use of some resources I checked the CostManagement and Billing Tab. It said there that I do not have to pay anything as of now and I do not have any payments in the near future. I was shocked however when I received a bill a month from the time I last visited the portal. The bill amounted to a sum of 200$ dollars. It is a clear misinformation and illegal acquisition of funds. I am very dissatisfied with Azure Portal and I would definitely advise against using the whole thing.
