When compare to Google Workspace, there is not much to like about Azure. If there were no other options, it would be something to consider, but not even close to the best product on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a software developer, I use Azure Portal to manage resources like Azure app services, databases, and storage with ease. Its intuitive UI and integrated tools streamline deployment, monitoring, and debugging of cloud applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The intuitive and unified interface stands out the most. Azure Portal provides a centralized dashboard where I can manage all Azure services—from virtual machines and identity management to security policies and monitoring—without needing to switch tools. The real-time metrics, customizable dashboards, and integration with Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates make it extremely powerful for both beginners and advanced users. I also appreciate the role-based access control (RBAC) and security recommendations from Microsoft Defender for Cloud, which help enforce compliance and security standards. While Azure Portal is feature-rich, it can sometimes feel overwhelming and unintuitive, especially for new users. The navigation structure isn’t always consistent, and some settings are deeply nested, making it hard to locate specific options quickly. Performance can also be an issue—pages occasionally load slowly, particularly when managing large environments. Additionally, some features are not fully integrated across services, causing confusion (e.g., duplicate settings for the same resource type or limited cross-service visibility). Lastly, error messages can be vague, which makes troubleshooting more difficult without relying on external documentation or support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With built-in tools like Azure Monitor, you can track performance, set alerts, and troubleshoot—all without leaving the portal Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some users find the interface inconsistent across services. Certain blades (panels) behave differently, and updates can change layouts without warning, leading to confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
