What do you like best about Contruent Enterprise (formerly ARES PRISM)?

Since moving into the cloud enviorment, i have really enjoyed the inital dashboard when i log in to see the status of the projects i manage at a quick glance.

I also really enjoy the flexability of the reports being able to drill down into what matters for me but at the same time create reports for others that deal with their needs all from one source of data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contruent Enterprise (formerly ARES PRISM)?

The need to return to Control Centre to carry out some of the functionality of the sytem, these feels out of line with the enterprise Home and Magic grid, and feels like a setep back in time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Contruent Enterprise (formerly ARES PRISM) solving and how is that benefiting you?

The system is removing data erreros in the previously used excel sheets, the system removes the issue with caluculation errors and people over typing data with no control.

What do you dislike about Contruent Enterprise (formerly ARES PRISM)?

Contruent does not provide context clues when there are errors. It isnt streamlined. There are a ton of tabs that you must add data entry to to produce reports. If one wrong toggle is chosen, it will not calculate properly and the whole sheet/report is off. It could be an easy fox if the software gave a warning or context clue as to where the error happened Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Contruent Enterprise (formerly ARES PRISM) solving and how is that benefiting you?

At the moment, there isn't anything we can do with Contruent that we weren't already accomplishing with Excel or other software. While it has the potential to improve the speed, quality, and volume of our reports, as well as reduce the manhours needed for monthly reporting, this benefit is offset by the significant amount of time we spend entering data across numerous tabs and then tracking down errors. Contruent doesn't offer helpful context clues to indicate where mistakes might have occurred. Additionally, it has an overwhelming number of functions and options, which makes it difficult to produce anything efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Contruent Enterprise (formerly ARES PRISM)?

ARES PRISM works faster and quicker than any other software I have seen. The good thing about it is that it gets integrated with my older systems too. The features are flexible for example like import and export. It reduces the amount of time spent on working and it does the work in half amount of time. It manages project life cycle and contains robust features like Budgeting, Change Management, Collaboration, Dashboard, Milestone Tracking, Portfolio Management, Project Planning, Reporting/Analytics, Requirements Management, Resource Management, Task Management, Time & Expense Tracking and many others. ARES PRISM contains minor bugs here and there like any other software. Learning its use for the first time is not easy so their team needs to develop some kind of video tutorials so it becomes easier to get started. There is not much customization present and whenever you ask support team about your problems their reply is always late. It will be helpful if they introduce new modules.
