Hey G2 users. Engineering teams tend to have strong opinions about their bug tracker, and within Bug Tracking, one platform is built specifically around a fast, engineering-first workflow.
Linear: reviewers point to a keyboard-first design and Git integration that automatically updates issue status based on commit or pull request activity, cutting down on the manual bookkeeping that heavier tools require. Reviewers are directed that it is optimized for software and product teams specifically, and can feel like a poor fit if a non-technical team tries to force its workflow into it.
Would be useful to hear from mid-market engineering teams directly here: did the opinionated workflow structure actually improve consistency across the team, or did some engineers end up fighting it?
