**What do you like best about Appcues?**

The ability to build and deploy in-app experiences without engineering involvement is the biggest win. As a marketer, I can design, test, and publish flows entirely on my own timeline. It removes a major bottleneck and lets us move faster on product-adjacent initiatives like feature announcements and user education.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

The feature set is so robust I worry I'm not using the tool effectively enough!

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were running into a classic marketing-engineering resource conflict. Every in-app experience we wanted to build required dev time we didn't have. Appcues solves that by letting our marketing team own the full build and deployment of in-app flows. The direct benefit is speed: we can launch product-adjacent campaigns, test user experiences, and iterate on messaging without waiting in a sprint queue.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

I like that Appcues is configurable a lot and it's much more powerful than I initially found. We can configure it according to our design system and design line.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

I think the UI is not great and it's tough to configure everything. Even though Appcues is very powerful, discovering those powerful features requires a very manual effort. I would say it's not user-friendly. The initial setup wasn't as great either because the user experience from the UI perspective has not been great. We would prefer if it was more self-serve so we could do things on our own.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Appcues for inter-product communication and NPS surveys. It's configurable to our design system and more powerful than initially thought.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

Appcues has enabled us to automate certain workflows and customer messaging, as well as easily publish ad hoc comms in banners or pop-ups. You can easily customise your designs to ensure they're on brand, and target specific customer segments.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

Appcues are definitely improving the ease of publishing a workflow, as before some of the settings could be a bit misleading or unclear. Internally, you need to make sure you have the technical resource to ensure any automations and segments are set up correctly.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to target customers with in-app messaging, allowing for quicker comms than email where needed, and help support the customer journey.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

I like the ease of use and versatility of Appcues. The integration with Mixpanel allows for quick targeting of users. Additionally, the in-app onboarding is a great tool for explaining the product's functionality to customers. I also find the in-app surveys useful, as they are contextual to the product area the customer is using.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

The text editor sometimes behaves unexpectedly. It's hard to understand why I can't anchor an element to a graphical interface. It's complicated to have an overview of what is online, where, and for how long when there are many flows and pins.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Appcues to quickly target users thanks to the integration with Mixpanel, explain the product to customers through in-app onboarding, and conduct contextual surveys related to product usage.

IPM is a very strong channel to engage with your customers and Appcues does a fantastic job of helping that engagement result in genuine business impact.

The tooltip “issues” count always throws me off.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Appcues helps us with our marketing strategy all through a users lifecycle. They help spread awareness, increase adoption and decrease churn.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

I love how Appcues efficiently supports building onboardings, walkthroughs, and surveys while also tracking events. Its intuitiveness is a significant advantage, making it easy to use, which enhances our ability to onboard users quickly and gather their feedback efficiently. The flexibility of Appcues stands out because it allows me to cater to various product requests and create different flows and surveys, adapting them seamlessly to different topics and pages as needed. I appreciate that the initial setup of Appcues was very convenient and straightforward, and having the opportunity to review the setup with the Appcues team further added to the ease of adoption. Overall, I find Appcues to be exceptionally valuable, especially after comparing it with other products like Gainsight, and I can confidently recommend it to friends and colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

I would like to receive notifications when my Appcues flows encounter issues. Currently, there is no automated alert system to inform me if something breaks during a flow. An email notification system that specifies which flow and at what stage the error occurs would be beneficial.

I use Appcues to efficiently onboard users, gather their feedback, and track events. Its flexibility allows me to create diverse flows and surveys tailored to different topics, while its integration capabilities enhance our processes.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

The Customer Support team is absolutely the best thing about Appcues. They always take you seriously, and escalate to the Tech Support team when needed, to give you the best possible solution. They also work based off of user feedback, so everything you input, they take into consideration as a future improvement. There's a lot of possibilities with the features they offer, I really like their product offering as it's in-product and out-of-product, with the same user base. So it's easy to keep an overview what you're sending to whom, and what they've already received. I use Appcues weekly, if not daily (depends on projects).

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

Their CS-team is mostly US-based, which sometimes makes it difficult if you're having a pressing issue but they are unavailable during (most of) your working hours, being based in the EU. Localisation is also not available in all features, or the way to use it can be a bit more tedious.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using Appcues to engage with our users within our product(s). Tell them about new features, onboard new users, and re-engage existing users. Among others.

It is hard to know what level of customization is viable from the outset, and it takes some time to set up your own personal cues/tracking beyond the OOTB.

Overlays the LMS so we don't have to do engineering time.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

I really like how user-friendly the build interface is in Appcues. The flows are especially valuable because they fulfill a large number of product and marketing needs, while still being really easy to set up. It's a powerful tool that we're excited to continue to explore.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

We have several different teams using Appcues, so it would be great if we could standardize what back-end settings users configure to help prevent errors.

Appcues enhances customer communications through in-app popups, boosts product adoption, reduces support tickets by providing in-platform support, and supports marketing efforts. Its user-friendly build interface and easy-to-setup flows improve event promotion, education, and customer-specific notices efficiently.
