**What do you like best about Appcues?**

Appcues allows us to quickly create user guides on our website without involving the dev team. It’s also useful for collecting feedback on newly launched features.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

At the moment, the only constraint is that we don’t send Appcues data back to our CRM, but we’re working on it.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It would be great to be able to integrate a quick, easy-to-understand user guide directly into our UI. The tool now supports multiple languages, which is a really nice enhancement for global brands managing multiple sites and languages.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

The ability to build and deploy in-app experiences without engineering involvement is the biggest win. As a marketer, I can design, test, and publish flows entirely on my own timeline. It removes a major bottleneck and lets us move faster on product-adjacent initiatives like feature announcements and user education.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

The feature set is so robust I worry I'm not using the tool effectively enough!

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were running into a classic marketing-engineering resource conflict. Every in-app experience we wanted to build required dev time we didn't have. Appcues solves that by letting our marketing team own the full build and deployment of in-app flows. The direct benefit is speed: we can launch product-adjacent campaigns, test user experiences, and iterate on messaging without waiting in a sprint queue.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

I like Appcues for the quality of its support team and account management. Although it takes time to understand all the technical settings, once I know the overall capabilities, it's a great tool to use, especially with templates. Once you build your own templates, creating a well-designed journey is easy. The tool has become a must-have to communicate important messages in our solution to our clients.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

The settings have some limitations and is a bit difficult to use. It's really feels quite binary sometimes, like showing the flow once or all the time. There's also difficulty in creating segmentations with multiple layers, especially if the data comes from different sources.  The builder could also be more intuitive. Some basic tasks, such as aligning text or resizing a youtube video, can be more difficult than expected and require more effort than they probably should.  But I know the team has been working on it with the creating of a new builder, so let's see in the future how it is.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Appcues to contact users at the right moment and place in their journey, making it easy to communicate important updates about our products. It became a must-have in our communication plans to our clients.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

I like how intuitive Appcues is. I've used other similar products in the past, and even though I was new to this, I picked it up pretty quickly. The support from our Customer Success Manager was SO helpful. She would send quick screen recordings or let me schedule a call to do a sanity check before launching. Whenever doing anything customer-facing, it's scary to hit 'launch' knowing so many people are going to see it. It's great to have Appcues CSM, support, and help articles to ensure you are truly set up for success before hitting go. Although some parts are a bit confusing, there are so many resources that I can always find an answer.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

I haven't noticed anything yet. Some things are a bit confusing but there are SO many resources that you can always find an answer.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Appcues helps me make announcements, target the right segments at the right time, and track customer engagement. Its intuitive nature and excellent CSM support reduce the stress of launching customer-facing content.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

I like that Appcues is configurable a lot and it's much more powerful than I initially found. We can configure it according to our design system and design line.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

I think the UI is not great and it's tough to configure everything. Even though Appcues is very powerful, discovering those powerful features requires a very manual effort. I would say it's not user-friendly. The initial setup wasn't as great either because the user experience from the UI perspective has not been great. We would prefer if it was more self-serve so we could do things on our own.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Appcues for inter-product communication and NPS surveys. It's configurable to our design system and more powerful than initially thought.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

Appcues has enabled us to automate certain workflows and customer messaging, as well as easily publish ad hoc comms in banners or pop-ups. You can easily customise your designs to ensure they're on brand, and target specific customer segments.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

Appcues are definitely improving the ease of publishing a workflow, as before some of the settings could be a bit misleading or unclear. Internally, you need to make sure you have the technical resource to ensure any automations and segments are set up correctly.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to target customers with in-app messaging, allowing for quicker comms than email where needed, and help support the customer journey.

Very user-friendly, the tooltips is one of my favourite features, which help guide a user throughout their product experience.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

There are many dynamic pieces within our website - we would encounter a lot of issues where the tooltip can't be displayed it had issues finding the dynamic content piece on our platform.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guiding users to exactly where they should go from the email. The email tells them why they should do this action, and the appcues shows them HOW they can do it. It's also helped us experiment with push notifications triggered throughout the user journey.

**What do you like best about Appcues?**

I like the ease of use and versatility of Appcues. The integration with Mixpanel allows for quick targeting of users. Additionally, the in-app onboarding is a great tool for explaining the product's functionality to customers. I also find the in-app surveys useful, as they are contextual to the product area the customer is using.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

The text editor sometimes behaves unexpectedly. It's hard to understand why I can't anchor an element to a graphical interface. It's complicated to have an overview of what is online, where, and for how long when there are many flows and pins.

**What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Appcues to quickly target users thanks to the integration with Mixpanel, explain the product to customers through in-app onboarding, and conduct contextual surveys related to product usage.

Captain Assist is very intuitive and understands instructions and briefs very well. It’s easy to use, and it consistently follows what I ask without confusion.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

I think the workflows could be improved. I use workflows regularly, but sometimes I need help building them and understanding whether the logic I’m using is actually correct. The AI function isn’t able to support me to its full capacity in this area.

It helps me build the right flows and target the audience I need to reach.

I like that Appcues allows us to customize our audiences, and the design function for popups and tool tips is robust, yet easy to use. It also helps us inform our users of new features or updates in the app.

**What do you dislike about Appcues?**

I had a pretty hard time figuring out how to upload language files, so I ended up just manually updating the text in 23 different languages.

I use Appcues to create tool tips for our mobile app. It helps us inform our users of new features or updates effectively, and I like its customization for audiences and the robust design functions.
