### 4. Expensive and Less User-Friendly Than Asana, Lacking Task Completion tick button

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christelle I. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

- Ease of integration, yes
- We use it as a ticketing system, it provided us a way to automate escalation of tickets
- Nice kankban view for a ticketing system

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

- There is no ticking project to complete, you have to update the status by selecting
- It doesn't provides props when you complete a task
- It is expensive
- I don't find it very user friendly compared to asana

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. It's solving the streamlining of customer support at my organization. We are able to easily customize it to support us in the needs we have in a support system.
2. It is a central place where we are putting all our partner's projects and saving insights easily for future use. We are also able to connect it to different dashboard. It's really solving the problem of fragmented systems that were being used for the different streams of work we have. It has become one central place from which we use for surveys, insights, project and task tracking, integration with our weekly mailers for compiled data analysis, etc.

 ### 5. Beautiful, Functional UI with Great App Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayushi D L. | Webflow Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

The UI and the available app integrations🔥🔥

Makes presenting and sharing data/metrics not just pretty but also functional!!

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

The pricing is a bit steep, especially for a sole proprietor like me.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes data much more manageable, and it feels less messy, both visually and in terms of structure.

To me, it’s basically a mix of Excel and Google Sheets, but more refined and smarter to use.

 ### 6. Airtable Makes Project Management Simple, Fast, and Frictionless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ralf H. | Product Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

What I love most is how easy it is to use. The user experience feels genuinely simple, intuitive, fast, and automated, so I can get things done without friction. Everything I need is in one place, without any hassle. Unlike other project management tools that can quickly feel overwhelming, Airtable keeps things straightforward and simplifies the whole process.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I haven’t had any issues or problems with it so far. It helps teams stay coordinated without turning project management into a full-time job. It also allows new team members to adapt quickly, which is a huge boost to productivity.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s an excellent project management tool that makes it easy to create projects and add team members to each one. It helps cut down on confusion, strengthens accountability, and makes sure important updates—such as health and safety notices—reach the right people quickly.

 ### 7. Performant and organised work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable was used to track the statuses of our negotiated contracts. It made it much easier to delegate who was responsible for each contract, see what stage it was in, and understand which steps we needed to cover next. We also had lots of documents and some catalogues tied to those contracts, representing discounts for specific parts in maintenance, for example. This is where it really shines: even with large amounts of data across multiple rows, we didn’t experience any lag while scrolling. That was honestly mind-blowing, because when we used different supplier websites for similar information, they lagged a lot.

It was easy to implement and integrate, and customer support seemed responsive whenever we needed help. We used it quite frequently without issues—no downtime—and we also weren’t worried about losing important data, like we sometimes are with locally stored files.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I don’t like the limitations on the plans, especially around storage and AI credits. For instance, the Team plan only allows 50k records, which can be troublesome when you’re working with large documents. We’re also somewhat concerned about vendor lock-in and how easy it is to export data. That said, we did find ways to export our data if needed, which is a relief, but it also meant we had to learn another tool to make it work.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned, we manage a lot of catalogues and contracts tied to those catalogues (e.g., part discounts and which contract covers that discount), and many of these include a large number of rows. In other tools, records with that many rows would usually lag and feel slow, but we didn’t encounter that at all here.

We were also able to add records and then view them using the multiple views feature, which was especially helpful since we had pictures of the parts referenced. Different services benefited from this as well, because we could assign records (e.g., HVAC System Maintenance) along with the supplier’s previous work, so we had a reference for their portfolio. Overall, we saw it as an “Excel on steroids,” since we could keep this kind of portfolio in one place. It was really neat and could even be used to show off how strong our team is. It worked well for us.

Also in other parts of our team, that I did not have access to but was in process of integrate, was the Salesforce integration which I heard that it worked ok as we also received some exports of contracts in a way that was desired for our work.

 ### 8. Flexible, Easy Customization for Building Team Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donald P. | Payroll Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I like mostly its flexibility and ease of customization. It gives teams to create own workflows using different field types, linked records and more.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Only one thing that I dislike is advanced feature and higher record limits are only in paid plans that can be increase costs as per usage.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable really solves the issue of scattered data excel, spreadsheets to one place centralized that manage data in real time.

 ### 9. Unmatched Flexibility and Intuitive Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DONGA UDAYA S. | Research Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

What I appreciate most about Airtable is its remarkable flexibility. You can begin with a basic spreadsheet and, over time, transform it into a robust system by making use of views, linked records, and automations. The interface is both clean and intuitive, which really helps make collaboration straightforward, even for those who aren't particularly technical.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

One aspect I find frustrating about Airtable is its pricing structure and the restrictions on features. A number of valuable tools, such as advanced automations and increased record limits, are only available on the more costly plans. Additionally, when handling very large or complex datasets, the platform can become sluggish and more difficult to manage.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable addresses the challenge of managing structured information without the need for complicated tools or technical expertise. Instead of relying on scattered spreadsheets, emails, and manual tracking, it provides a single, organized system. For me, this means I save time, make fewer mistakes, and can more easily monitor projects, collaborate with others, and maintain a clear overview of work progress all in one place.

 ### 10. Airtable helps with peace for mind and sustains my workflow!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nashé R. | Singer / Poet, Music, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I like that it helps me stay organized by creating a centralized system for tracking my credentials and username logs. The platform keeps everything structured and easily accessible, which streamlines my workflow and ensures I never lose track of important login information.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I don't have any real dislikes about Airtable. There was a small learning curve when I first started using it, but once I got familiar with the features, it's been a great tool for staying organized

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable addresses the chaos of managing multiple credentials and logs across different platforms. It centralizes everything into one organized system, which benefits me by improving my efficiency, eliminating the frustration of forgotten passwords or misplaced information, and allowing me to focus on my work rather than hunting for login details.

 ### 11. Clean, Flexible Views That Make Organizing Data a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan G. | Founder, Systems Saved Me, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I love how Airtable has set views for the same data. Nothing is more clean cut than how you can organize your data to fit different purposes.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

The Interfaces can't be public, which is unfortunate. I would love to have that functionality.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to organize my data to be more usable versus just nice to have. It automates a lot in my business as well with my data which makes me happy.

 ### 12. Creation and customization of digital applications with Airtable resources.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable has allowed me to create high quality applications that fit my professional processes and operations, improving the performance of my business activities and facilitating the fulfillment of all my business objectives.

 ### 13. Versatile Views and Automation in One Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daphne D. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I really like Airtable's multiple views because I can look at a grid, Kanban, and calendar gallery. It's super helpful since it lets different stakeholders see the same data in different ways they appreciate, like grids, Kanban boards, or calendar galleries, which helps them compare this to their work effort. Also, the automations are pretty good for handling those repetitive tasks in workflows.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Well, pricing escalates quickly as my teams grow. The automations are strong, but sometimes it seems as though it's limited for complexities. And had to be careful on how you set up the permissions.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable helps by providing multiple views like grid, Kanban, and calendar, allowing stakeholders to see data in their preferred format. It automates repetitive tasks, streamlines workflows, links records, and offers templates, which enhance efficiency.

 ### 14. Versatile Tool with Room for Performance Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praneethvallem R. | intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I use Airtable for project management, content planning, tracking inventory, managing events, and organizing customer relationships. I appreciate that Airtable empowers me to quickly create custom views and efficient workflows. I like that it functions as a hybrid between a spreadsheet and a relational database, allowing me to use two features instead of relying on different software. It dramatically enhances work processes by providing a centralized, dynamic, and flexible data management system. I also use Airtable with automation tools like Zapier and some other no-code tools. I will rate it a 10; it’s a great tool.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I faced some performance issues with very large datasets, including slow processing and memory limits. The initial setup wasn't so hard but took some effort to know everything.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable to track projects, create custom views, and build efficient workflows. It dramatically enhances work processes by providing a centralized, dynamic, and flexible data management system.

 ### 15. Flexible and Customizable Tool That Adapts to My Needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel M. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

It’s flexible and adapts to my needs. I can easily design the tool I need.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

What we don't like is that the mobile interface is not fully functional.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team collaboration is very simple: sharing data and having it all located in the same place is easy and practical.

 ### 16. The one Saas subscription I couldn't see myself cancelling

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean P. | Marketing Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable allows me the ability to quickly set up basic systems for myself or clients that function the way I want them to – without having to go out and add another subscription to my budget.

I've built simple yet robust apps ranging from task management, CRMs, content management, and more.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Airtable's pricing model is unreasonable for many potential customers. I find it works really well for soloists with one or two teammates, and it works well for enterprise companies – but not for those in between.

And unfortunately, it's also unreasonable for agencies and consultants like myself. I have an Airtable Business account, yet if a client adds me to their workspace, they are required to pay for an additional seat.

Tools like Webflow allow "freelancers" or "agencies" to be added to client workspaces if they have an existing paid account –– Airtable would be wise to adopt this.

I would recommend Airtable to *nearly* everyone if it wasn't for their pricing model that intentionally leaves out customers who could greatly benefit from the tool.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can setup a feature-rich database with in-app automations very quickly, without needing to code.

 ### 17. Dynamic and Flexible, But With a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexa B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I really love how dynamic Airtable is. You can pretty much build anything you can dream of since it's super flexible. I also find it very smart, and the AI functionality is particularly helpful for those not super familiar with building components or architecting workflows. It really helps in getting ideas out of people's heads into functional workflows.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

There's definitely a bit of a learning curve for people who are new to using Airtable. Navigation feels less intuitive. But once you start using it on a day-to-day basis, it really kind of becomes ingrained.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable connects teams, keeps our data centralized as a source of truth, and is efficient for workflows. It's easy to connect to automations and APIs, automating workflows beyond what legacy solutions could do.

 ### 18. Customizable but Feels Like a Glorified Excel

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I like that Airtable is quite customizable compared to its competitors. I can add or delete columns based on what I'm working on, and I also have the ability to filter and hide different customizations that I've made. Also, the initial setup of Airtable was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Sometimes it feels like a glorified Excel sheet.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable helps manage projects with multiple owners and offers customization by allowing me to add, delete, filter, and hide columns. It's more customizable than competitors.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prem L. | Designing Team, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I use Airtable as an advanced Excel sheet for our business, which can hold large data and automate tasks. I like its integration feature with Google tools and Slack. It helps in accessing data from these platforms and accommodating them in a tabular form.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I have experienced lagging issues with Airtable when handling large data files. This issue repeats when we try to generate advanced analytics and reports of large databases.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable as an advanced Excel sheet, managing large data and automating tasks. It organizes multiple data types in a single sheet efficiently.

 ### 23. Well-Designed, Intuitive UI That’s Easy to Learn

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

It’s easy to learn how to use because the UI is well designed and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Hmm, maybe it’s the price per user. With a big team, it’s hard to afford paying for everyone.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of my business runs on Airtable: my finances, projects, tasks, invoices, AI agents for marketing, and more.

The Capacity to integrate its platform is a big help while using this platform. I love the easy to login feature and user friendly Interface. The Automation feature of this platform is astounding. It will make user very effective with some learning. The pipelining is so good that there is hardly any chance that any project deadline will be missed.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I am satisfied with its robust feature but to very effective and efficient in using this software, one must do a lot of learning. I feel that the platform is little bit slow while implementing on my browser but it is manageable. I also wish that the cost of the Platform is a little lower that the current pricing.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Automation in this solves most of the repetitive task increasing the efficiency. The Project pipelining become much easier with the availability of the structured formats.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert H. | Technical Support Tech, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Flows nicely honestly. It is simple to navigate and use.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

It is good at what it does. Tend to run into issues if you try to get it to be too much more than that.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

inventory tracking. Was Teeerrrriiibllleee before. Really like the ability to have drop down fields for employees and statuses for computer setups. Its been a super helpful tool!

 ### 29. Unleashes Potential with Automation and AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sally I. | Airtable (No Code / Low Code) Developer

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I love that Airtable enforces data cleanliness, which then unlocks automations and allows clean data input into AI for processing. I find that their system design allows room for growth beyond standard features, such as automation scripting for not-yet-native integrations and Custom Interfaces for outside-the-box visualizations. The recent release of Custom Interfaces really unlocks the system's potential, letting users visualize their data and focus on what's important. AI is applicable at multiple levels, including agents, automations, and the base level via Omni, making it usable everywhere. The initial setup of Airtable was easy peasy.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

As clients progress towards a larger system, the base does become slow.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable enforces data cleanliness and usability, unlocking automations and AI capabilities. It boosts data reliability, adaptability, and provides custom interfaces for visualization, enabling efficient AI processing and empowering employees to manage data-driven analysis confidently.

 ### 30. From Beginners to Advanced Users

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gayle E. | Engagement Manager, Member Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

AirTable can do as much or as little as you'd like. It can be a glorified Excel document or it can be a full project management system with automation and user interfaces.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

When you start to get into the more complex uses of AirTable and have multiple users, training and a general understanding is required. We also have to be weary of how people are using it, because someone could add something that breaks something else.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AirTable has created one platform that multiple people with various jobs can utilize, so we're all talking together about the same project.

We also have people that are on the periphery of the organization that need access to some of the information, but not everything. With AirTable's interfaces, we can create a special view that they can access and submit information to, but not have to worry about messing up the data or automations. I can also automatically email someone via AirTable to submit new information or follow up.

Finally, I used to spend hours analyzing data and creating charts for presentation at the end of a project. With AirTable's Interfaces, the data is already in there and I can easily create a chart pulling exactly what I need.

 ### 31. Airtable: Clean, User-Friendly Interface and Easy Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett S. | Corporate Paralegal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable is an easy to use program with a very clean, user-friendly interface. It has also been easy to integrate into our other systems.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

There isn't much to point out in terms of negatives to be honest. Sometimes the sheer amount of organizational options (e.g. tagging) can be overwhelming at times.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable is helping me keep better track of our key tasks and manage projects effectively. Some of these projects can take months to complete, so having them in an easy-to-understand database means I can have fewer files falling through the cracks.

 ### 32. Airtable’s Intuitive UI Makes Tasks and Uploads Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maryama B. | MRH Adminstrative Coordiantor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I love the UI, its super easy to use and implement. Uploading pictures and contracts are so easy. Assigning someone a task is also so easy.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Nothing, I really enjoyed using Airtable but organizationally we switched to monday.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was key in organizing information across the department I am the Administrative Coordinator for.

 ### 33. Versatile for Small Teams but Needs Better Enterprise Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I like that you can get as much out of Airtable as you're willing to put in. Airtable offers some starter templates and workflows that are easy to use with little experience but once you have more experience and knowledge, you can create your own complex automations, workflows, and systems.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Airtable is struggling to stay up to date with enterprise customer needs; it's still so focused on individual or small team usage which means there are admin limitations and gaps in governance. It can be difficult if you're learning the tool and doing setup at the same time.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Airtable for cloud-based, central source of truth across projects. It supports workflows like project management, campaign management, asset management, content calendars, budget tracking, and performance dashboards.

 ### 34. Versatile Platform with Powerful Customizations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily H. | Marketing & Technology Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I use Airtable for a lot of project management and core CRM tasks. I love its versatility and the ability to make it my own. It's great for centralizing our data and building other workflows atop it. I also appreciate the automations feature. The newer interface feature is really great.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I think Airtable could have more software API functions.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable helps centralize our data and build other workflows atop.

 ### 35. Airtable Streamlines Lead Management and Enhances Customer Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rani N. | Digital Marketing, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable is the one place we collect all out leads, and students with the ability to filter, sort and create automation so we can provide better customer experience, very easy to use and integrates well with our forms.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

The mobile experience is not as great as the desktop application, a little hard to update leads

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable is used as our CRM, we collect the leads there as well as keeping our students records to give us visibility on their progress

 ### 36. A great tool, with some caveats

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah N. | Systems Builder and Integrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable makes it easy for non-technical people to post, control, and work with their company's data. We've been working with Airtable for just under a year now, currently on the Business plan. Our organization has around 25 people, and we have a lot of bases. It's been a huge upgrade over our history of using CRMs as data management tools, and we've fully replaced tools like Trello. We set a major goal last year to unify our divisions and workspaces to use a single source of truth, and Airtable has generally been perfect for this goal.

Interfaces - Interfaces are generally great! They give us a means to build custom business logic and interactive pages without too much fuss, no code needed. Interfaces in their current form are good for nearly everything we need and make our employees more effective, obscuring out the spreadsheet-like base for a more familiar SaaS dashboard like experience.

The ability to create public views without adding seats has been great. If we need to share information about our products with contractors, customers, etc, we can do this safely.

AI fields are generally good under specific use cases. For example, if you needed to translate a product description to Spanish, or parse out the first and last names from a messy full name field where traditional techniques are unreliable.

Realtime collaboration features - Bit of a pro and a con. Text fields are collaborative, like a google doc. This is great if multiple people are collaborating on assets, eliminating the annoyance of saving work constantly. The downside is that this makes webhook based change triggers impossible without custom infrastructure. More on this in the dislike section.

Native twilio text sending automation actions have been a huge time saver.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Monthly automation limits, unbelievably low automation limit per base, native automation editor doesn't solve the majority of the problems we have without exfiltrating to a third party platform like n8n or pipedream. Ability to run custom scripts helps a lot, but the automation limit is a hard thing to work around without two-way sync.
Too many features locked behind paid plans

Interfaces are generally good, but the inability to inject custom JS/HTML makes me hesitate to use interfaces for complex projects. I've built many websites that use the API to interface with data because interfaces just aren't robust enough.

Difficult to work with webhook behaviours - Because the updates to records are realtime, it's not straightforward to rely on webhooks to notice changes to records as one would do with most other tools. It can be done, but airtable sends the webhooks as chunks of changes, so it's on your developers to parse out the changes over time that you may need for analytics or triggering workflows in third party platforms. We're unfortunately limited to techniques like clustering and polling to observe changes, potentially restricting execution speeds when we're working with third party tools to get around the issues with native automations.

Omni - Lately, Airtable's been pushing their upgraded AI agent, claiming it's capable of building business-ready automations, bases, and interfaces. This has been entirely untrue in my experience. Every single time I've used Omni, it's either been incapable of performing the task or built something that simply doesn't work or build infrastructure that you can't work with long term. The pressure to use Omni continues to increase with every update, and every time I try it again, it fails.

Recent UI changes - Bit of a sore subject for those in my organization who build stuff. When you're working with multiple bases, it used to be pretty easy to tell which one you were in based on the header color. This has been removed, making more room for the unhelpful Omni tool.

Record Limits - Not a problem for our organization so far, but this may make certain projects not feasible.

Portals are too expensive - Portals is a feature intended to allow you to share the ability to see and edit base data without paying for a full seat and maintain branding, which is excellent! Unfortunately, it's very expensive and therefore makes little sense competitively. Much of what we would be interested in using Portals for, we can't justify because of the price. Instead we work around it with tools like Fillout or Softr.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big reason we switched to Airtable was to create a single source of truth on projects and deals. Records and information that are shared and need to be atomic across multiple divisions. To this end, it's been perfect. It's also flexible enough to work with every other system we've needed it to work with, if you're able to build custom scripts.

 ### 37. Six years of extensive use across many different programs/proevtd

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenn B. | Co-founder/VP Government Sector, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

The automated linkage across tables.
I used many different database tools and the primary key and foreign key process was always a hassle. Airtable removed that frustration with the very intuitive “link to another table” action.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

There isn’t much not to like about Airtable, but I do wish the prices per user was a little more equitable. Having one price for every license just makes the App unaffordable for business application.
Lastly, I wish Airtable would allow for Forms to promulgate across the base. Yes, I know there are work around like creating a master table with the one form for inputs, but that’s very time consuming and requires doubling up some work.
I wish a Master Form could be created to populate all associated data in one place and each table be populated from that one Form.
As we know, you can only create one form per table.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable is a great way to segregate date for the team to review and work from.

 ### 38. TRANSFORMING the way my team manages projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica B. | Assistant Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable has truly transformed the way we manage projects and events. What I appreciate most is its comprehensive functionality that goes far beyond a simple spreadsheet. Unlike Excel, Airtable combines the power of a database with the ease of a user-friendly interface, making it an indispensable tool for both data management and collaboration.

One of the standout features is the ability to capture data through professional-looking forms. This not only elevates the experience for participants and stakeholders but also ensures that the information is collected in an organized, structured way.

What makes Airtable even more powerful is its robust integrations. From automatically replying to people when they submit a form, to creating calendar invites, sending follow-up emails, and handling countless other tasks, Airtable streamlines processes that would otherwise require multiple separate tools. These automations save valuable time and reduce human error, which is especially crucial when coordinating events or managing complex projects.

In my experience, Airtable has made event planning and project management significantly easier and more efficient. It consolidates tasks that used to be fragmented across different platforms into one centralized hub, giving us the flexibility and confidence to execute projects smoothly.

Simply put, Airtable is far more than a spreadsheet substitute—it’s an all-in-one productivity and organization platform that empowers teams to work smarter, not harder.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

One challenge I’ve experienced with Airtable is not with the platform itself, but with the learning curve and the sheer breadth of functionality it offers. While the advanced integrations—such as calendar invites and automated email replies—are incredibly powerful, at present only one member of our team has the expertise to build them out, which sometimes slows adoption for the rest of us. Additionally, Airtable’s depth means that our advanced user often adds robust features that can feel overwhelming for novice users to keep up with. In many ways, Airtable is almost too powerful. I would love to see more streamlined training tools, quick-start guides, or templates that help flatten the learning curve and make it easier for all team members, regardless of experience, to maximize the platform’s full potential.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable is helping us manage and facilitate our largest projects and events all in one place. The greatest benefit has been the ability to create events and instantly send calendar invites and follow-up emails with just a click. This level of automation has streamlined our processes, saved us valuable time, and ensured that nothing falls through the cracks.

 ### 39. Airtable: total flexibility and simple collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

What I like most about Airtable is its flexibility. You can use it as a simple spreadsheet or turn it into something much more powerful according to your needs. I also really value how easy it is to organize information, create different views, and collaborate with others without it becoming complicated.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

What I like the least is that some advanced features have a learning curve and are not always intuitive at first. Additionally, many useful options are limited to paid plans, which can be inconvenient if you use it individually or for small projects.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable solves the problem of having disorganized information or information spread across various tools. It allows you to centralize data, organize processes, and easily adapt them to different needs without having to use complex software. For me, this translates to better organization, fewer errors, and significant time savings when managing projects and data in one place.

 ### 40. Flexible Views That Empower Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Faiz M. | Assistant Manager, Technology & Innovation, Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I love that it bridges the gap between the flexibility of spreadsheets and the structure of databases. The ability to create different views (grid, kanban, calendar, gallery) of the same data is particularly powerful for teams who work in different ways.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

The mobile app is just terrible. It`s super limited compared to the web version - it's more about viewing and light editing than full functionality.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool assists me in planning, collecting data, and managing as well as linking different types of data from all the various programs I have previously overseen.

 ### 41. Airtable is a game changer for any size business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie N. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable is so flexible, we use it for so many different things in our business, and we train others to use it as well. We are a workforce development org, training small businesses, nonprofit professionals and veterans on all aspects of managing a business. We use Airtable to provide a toolkit with each course, so a gallery of resources that is included with every topic. And we teach thousands of people to use it every year across a variety of use cases in their own businesses. The fact that it is free or mostly free is a big deal as many of our participants are very small businesses or just getting started. But the system itself also really helps people work together - for example, our marketing team thinks and plans visually but our IT team thinks and plans in data - having multiple views of the same information makes it so everyone can use the same tools together and we don't lose information or time switching between platforms to communicate. Airtable completely changed the way we manage our customer relationships as well. We're able to provide Hybrid services where we do some of the work and the client can weigh in by using Airtable as a client hub.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I wish it were easier to make tables talk to each other but I'm sure that is coming or that I just need to learn more. It used to be easier to find the Universe tab for seeing how others use the tools. That is also a great help. I once used an airtable created by my own cousin and didn't even realize she was an airtable user, she is out of state and we barely talk but her set up was perfect for what I needed. I just happened to see her name and texted her to ask if it was her on the airtable site. :)

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps clients visualize what we do for them, helps class participants see how simple some of their day to day operational processes can be if they would use a tool like airtable, helps us deliver Toolkits easily that make our particpants very happy, helps set us apart as a training partner for cities and counties -- example: one city held some classes that were not provided by us, so they did not include our signature toolkits (made and shared with airtable) and people were calling the city to complain that they didn't get a toolkit at those extra classes. The city is trying to figure out how to create them (we showed them how!)

 ### 42. Increasing using Airtable for more & more purposes to manage data in our environment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug H. | Associate VP, Tech Launch Arizona, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable, in many ways, is like a simplified Excel. However, the interface is intuitive and easy-to-use, so gleaning information out of raw data is simple. I'm impressed by it's versatility, as well. Initial implementation was fast and easy, and finding additional support services has been great. We use if for everything from basic office metrics to analyzing survey information to tracking ongoing projects. The addition of some AI as well as interface support has been welcome and useful. We've not graduated to much heavier use, including integration with some of our existing system, and working on automation to improve both our use and data integrity.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

While simplicity and flexibility is its strength, it can be somewhat "too simple", not providing more flexibility and power of some advanced calculations or more flexible/advanced charting options.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving multiple issues: (1) we are centralizing reporting for the entire office, so everyone can get access to reports; (2) we are providing a cloud-based solution, so access is from "wherever we are" rather than just in the office; (3) we use it to track and report ongoing projects; and (4) we use it to support our outreach efforts, including as a Customer database.

 ### 43. A useful database tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katya S. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I appreciate the power of Airtable to allow our team to collaborate and manage data on the many ways we interact with our audience. I especially appreciate being able to connect contacts across bases. In our organization, we use forms a lot as a way to register for events (both in person and virtual) and I appreciate how seamlessly Airtable helps us create outreach lists from our database of contacts, track which of these contacts register for the meeting, and allows us to collect and save information on these contacts.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

I appreciate the updates to forms that allows us to embed links and increase the formatting potential of these forms - this was lacking in the old forms. The features I would most like to see added are:
- A way to attach calendar invitations to automations (so that when people register for something, it can be added to their calendar, whether Outlook, gmail, etc)
- Better options for adding logos and graphics to forms, both the size of the file allowed and ability to edit its appearance on the page. We often have a background image that's good for this, but the file size is very limited and then we are unable to adjust it's positioning on the page, so the text is often cut off at weird places.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable helps us collect, save, and use data on our customer base. We're also working on how to better use it to manage our time as a team. I would like to explore more project management tool options.

 ### 44. Easy, Reliable and Effective!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett R. | COO, Telecommunications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

What I like most about Airtable is its ease of use. The interface is clean, intuitive, and makes data management feel approachable even for those without technical backgrounds.

Another standout feature is its speed and accuracy — creating, updating, and filtering records happens in real time without lag, which makes collaboration smooth and efficient.

Finally, Airtable is an excellent low-code solution. Its built-in automations, integrations, and customizable fields allow you to create powerful workflows without needing deep programming knowledge. You can quickly prototype, test, and deploy solutions that would take much longer in traditional database or spreadsheet tools.

Overall, Airtable delivers a great balance between simplicity and power, making it an ideal platform for teams that need flexibility, speed, and minimal learning curves.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Really nothing. The tool is awesome, maybe adding live sync to grab data from an online excel workbook or a excel workbook on premise?

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data analytics and mass reporting.

 ### 45. Powerful AI-Enhanced Tool with Great Features, but Steep Learning Curve and Price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mohamed e. | Admin specialist , Hospitality, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

This is a very powerful tool enhanced by AI. It offers team-friendly spreadsheets that are connected to a robust database, all without the need for any coding. I appreciate the smart columns, such as checkboxes and attachments, which make organizing information much easier. My favorite features are definitely the calendar and the Kanban board, as they help me stay organized and manage tasks efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

It's not as intuitive or opinionated as Trello or Asana, so you need to create your own workflow from scratch. The cost can increase quickly, especially as your needs grow. Performance also tends to slow down with larger projects, and the analysis features are quite limited.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facilitating connections between employees and current projects and workflows.

 ### 46. User-Friendly Project Management with Airtable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil B.

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I find Airtable's interface easy for collaboration and task management. I appreciate its customer support, functionality, and layout. It also offers the ability to administer the platform easily for our company.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

It seems like a glorified excel spreadsheet, automations seem to be lacking.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Airtable's easy interface great for collaborating on and managing tasks effectively.

 ### 47. Powerful, Accessible, & Fun

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanie F. | Administrative Support Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I've really enjoyed working with Airtable. It’s SO powerful but without the steep learning curve you get with some other database tools (like SharePoint). It strikes a great balance between being approachable for beginners and still having advanced features for when you want to get fancy and into the weeds. I’ve used it for all kinds of projects, from tracking grants to managing expenses. It’s honestly fun to set up and play around with. The interface makes you feel like you’re building something useful without drowning in technical jargon. It's been really easy to both implement and integrate in to our other systems. We use it every month for expense reconciliation and are working on building out a grant management system that would be used weekly.

Airtable has been a huge help for organizing information in a way that’s both functional and enjoyable to use. If you need something that’s more than a spreadsheet but less intimidating than a traditional database, it’s a fantastic option.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

For our nonprofit, the basic subscription has been enough to get a lot done, which I appreciate. That said, I do wish the higher-tier subscriptions were more affordable. The pricing makes it tough to give contractors or employees without a paid account the ability to engage with even the surface level of our data. It would open up a lot of possibilities for collaboration if that barrier were lower.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable has been great at helping us keep track of complex information in a way that’s organized and accessible to folks who are NOT the technically inclined. Rather than having the data across multiple spreadsheets and across multiple locations, we can now have the data live in a very specific place that also provides a variety of views and filters that make it easy to work with the data. The automations have also been great at getting consistent workflows that don't create gaps due to human error. By having automatic emails and follow ups, it just creates less space where things can fall through the cracks.

 ### 48. Airtable get's what we need done quickly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott B. | Digital Media Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

The flexibility of the databases is immensely helpful to fill our various needs. It helps in maintaining and organizing inventory items and creating kits that we check out. We were even able to create some rudimentary "apps" with easily customizable forms that people can fill out putting things directly where they need to be so that it can be evaluated and manipulated. I feel as I learn more about Airtable the more use cases I find for it. Then I can just throw something together and test it out. And if I have trouble make it work the Customer support has been amazing in getting back to me and helping me solve my issue.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

They just added AI and it will generate things and can make a jumping off point a little easier but of the more complex calculations don't work so I have to spend alot of time figuring out what the AI did to make it work the way I want it to. I am not sure it saves time. I often have to deal with generic dates and time and but they have a very precise way of dealing with the time. You can use lots of invisible and hidden fields to get time working the way you want it to but maybe some pre-made function to like work with week days instead of specific day.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Airtable to have Instruction Request form that then allows us to manage the schedule, we also use it as an inventory platform for our equiment and I occationally will create a survery with it.

 ### 49. Extremely useful. Way more pros than cons.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cory J. | IT Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

Airtable combines the functionality of a database with the ease of a spreadsheet. It's really the best of both worlds. I've been using it for years, both professionally and personally. It's very easy to learn and even more so if you're technically minded. I've only had to contact support a few times, and it was for something I didn't know how to do; not an issue with the platform.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Its biggest drawback is the lack of conditional logic options in forms. Occasionally, I've started out using Airtable but had to switch to Jotform since it has more conditional logic options. Most of my other "pain points" are visual, like not being able to word wrap column text. There have also been a few times over the years where it didn't have the exact functionality I wanted, but that was solved with future enhancements.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it as an employee database containing the info I need as an IT Admin to setup new users on various platforms.

**What do you like best about Airtable?**

I love how customizable Airtable is for both individuals and teams. The collaboration elements of Airtable is extremely valuable and streamlines the typical back-and-forth on related deliverables, projects, etc. The drag and drop interface is easy to use and get familiar with. From project management, to content planning - Airtable is the most used tool in my toolbox.

**What do you dislike about Airtable?**

Due to financial limitations we are only able to provide our partner functions with view-only access to our Airtable content. It would be great if there was a cheaper, collaboration option that would provide partners with access at a reduced price.

**What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Airtable helps us avoid communications collisions by acting as our 'source of truth' content calendar. The customizable views help us all stay on track and avoid information overload - while still being connected to the broader calendar. It's a ridiculously helpful tool, especially when utilizing automations to trigger alerts, syndication to other calendars, etc.
