"Very Great for Small to Mid-Sized Teams but with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Agile CRM?

The interface is clean and intuitive, i especially like the email automation feature, it's easy to set up and extremely helpful for running personalized campaigns.

The visual sales funnel with Kanban boards is also a big plus, making it easier to track leads across different stages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agile CRM?

Customer support is slow to respond at times, and some advanced features are only available in the more expensive plans, which can be a drawback for smaller businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Decaying, Out-Of-Date Product Seems to Be Abandoned"
What do you like best about Agile CRM?

I really wanted to like Agile CRM. It seemed like a great value-oriented product offering a large feature set for a price that suits a solopreneur. Alas, the adage about "too good to be true" stands firm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agile CRM?

I started my trial of AgileCRM and began having troubles right away.

Biggest RED FLAG: the product, from all outward appearances, doesn't seem to be in active development any more.

No new features or updates since 2021. No new blog posts since 2019. Android mobile app is defunct. Chrome extension has been deactivated.

I decided to contact the Agile team, but before I did I went to their Feedback popup, and then chose Enhancers, and got the message "This UserVoice instance is no longer available." Another red flag.

I contacted them by email and got this reply:

"I sincerely apologize for any uncertainty caused by the perceived lack of visible updates and the issues you encountered with our Feedback popup and UserVoice instance. Please rest assured that Agile CRM remains committed to ongoing development and customer support. While there may have been periods of less frequent public updates, our team continues to work on maintaining and enhancing the platform to meet the evolving needs of our users. We are also actively working to improve our communication channels and ensure a seamless experience for all customers. [...] Your feedback regarding the importance of transparency and visible progress is well taken, and I will share your concerns with our product and management teams. We want you to feel confident in your decision to invest your time and resources with us."

They concluded by inviting me to write them with any specific questions or concerns, so I did and got this point-by-point reply:

1. Timetable for New Mobile App (Beta Testing / Release):

We understand the importance of a reliable mobile experience. While there is internal discussion about revamping the mobile app, we currently do not have a publicly confirmed timeline for beta testing or release. We’ll be sure to notify all users once a beta is announced.

2. Chrome Extension:

You’re absolutely right — the Chrome extension has been deprecated and removed from the Chrome Web Store due to compliance issues with Google's extension policies. At this time, there are no active plans to reboot the Chrome extension, but alternatives are being considered for future releases.

3. Gmail Inbox Add-on / Integration:

Currently, we do not offer a standalone Gmail inbox integration for viewing Agile CRM data directly within Gmail. You can, however, use email sync via IMAP to track conversations within Agile CRM.

4. Google Contact Sync Issues:

We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Google Contact Sync can be sensitive to permission and token expiration issues. Since you've reported this to Support, we’ll follow up with that team to ensure your ticket is prioritized. Your effort to manually import each group and map them manually is noted — and appreciated.

In other words, they have no plans to address any of these core issues. I have no idea what they're working on, if anything, aside from keeping their core users hanging on while they flounder.

I'm out, and I don't recommend Agile for anyone else unless they turn their company around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
