I was able to call someone and quickly get a fix to my issue. The time sheets are easy to understand and make doing payroll a breeze. The ability to have my team clock in and out on their cell phones makes it easy for them to track their hours since we are on the road most of the time. The price of the program is reasonable for all the features we are able to take advantage of between clock in and out and reports we need for the state and government. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** The sales calls I get for other programs when I did not ask for it. Send an email and if I am interested I would reach out. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** The clock in and out feature helps me track the accuracy in payroll at the end of the week. The RUN program makes it easy for me to fix errors they make and make sure that I cover all the hours they work. The program then tells me the total cost for the payroll so that I am sure that there is enough money in the bank. My partner is able to grab the reports easily so he can put them into our Quickbooks account. ### 2. The interface is very clean and user friendly. The side navigation panel makes locating any type of additional data a breeze. We integrated our accounting software with our payroll processing. The GL file is generated right after we approve our payroll. The pricing is extremely fair and less than we had been paying with our previous vendor (Paychex). Most of our issues when they arise are addressed by ADP support whether it be utilizing the AI chat or use instructions or a representative that reaches out directly. Overall, RUN by ADP has performed superiorly when compared to other vendors. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** I feel like the AI needs a bit of work as when I have asked it questions in the past, it does not always understand what I am asking. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Most recently one problem we had dealt with an additional tax jurisdiction that was set up in error during our implementation. An ADP rep reached out to me and helped me resolve the issue quickly. I thought having payroll and PTO tracking in one place with accounting would simplify things for me as the business owner. BOY WAS I WRONG. Run Powered by ADP services are 24 hours a day. The other payroll service's customer service ends at 8pm EST. I'm often doing payroll or other HR things late into the evening or very early in the morning and trying to work around the inconvenient time schedule of other service was insane difficult. With ADP I can have questions answered any time of the day. I am not shuffled between different people with different skill sets and waiting on hold for next expert to help me. One call to ADP and one customer service representative answers all my questions, helps me correct any errors, teaches me how to prevent mistakes from happening in the future and educates me on the process I have questions about. Switching back to ADP was a seamless process as well. Where as switching from ADP to the other payroll service was complicated, lengthy and confusing. Run Powered by ADP's new feature of allowing my staff to request PTO is very helpful to keep track of the PTO they have use and have left to use. The ADP time tracking option via mobile app is super easy to use and convenient. There is not one thing I do not like about ADP. If asked I will recommend ADP every single time. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** NOTHING. ADP services are extraordinary and of the highest quality in the payroll, HR market. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Off-cycle payroll. Prior to ADP I was using Paychex for payroll and am very happy with the ADP portal experience, it's much more user friendly and easier to get things done. Primarily, I use the payroll feature to run payroll and the reports. I like the payroll report package that is generated after each pay period, it contains everything I need to see. I also run quarterly reports which are great. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** The only thing that I miss from Paychex that ADP doesn't have is the 15 minute window of time that Paychex offers after submitting payroll to make any adjustments. It's a nice failsafe to have 15 minutes to go back and make an adjustment if you notice that something isn't right. Seems like this could be added into the software easily. The other issue that ADP might want to consider is having a dedicated representative for each account. This is something that Paychex offers that ADP does not. I primarily use the Run software and don't have to contact an agent frequently, but it would be nice to have a dedicated human to contact should the need arise. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** One issue that we had with Paychex was lots of unnecessary fees. The platform is really easy to use. When things are working perfectly, I really like the time card uploads. I do wish that I didnt have to convert back and forth from decimals to 60 minute increments. The HR portion of ADP is very helpful to me as I am a new HR manager. I really like the analytics that are provided after payroll is processed. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** The only thing I can think of that I dislike is the fact that when doing time cards in the time cards place. I have to convert decimals to time. So 5:30 hours worked is 5.5 hours when doing time cards. I wish they could just add the conversion to the bottom of the Calendar so it makes it easier for tracking hours. This makes it hard to properly segregate employees who regularly work across multiple departments, especially when a new department is added due to expansion. Onboarding a new employee, asking questions about tax notices, payroll, reports, and pretty much everything in the ADP portal is user friendly. The best part is that when there is a question, the chat is always available and the person on the other end is a real person, not an automated response so you get real answers, real help. The chat team is also very knowledgeable and able to check with other departments when needed. My only criticism would be sometimes having confusion on the tax end but given that our company works out of multiple states and has a complicated set up, it's really not much of a complaint. I have found it to be quite useful since working with ADP and they have resolved my concerns quite quickly. Also, having been a customer now for several months, the RUN site is so user-friendly and it makes the process of payroll extremely quick and it basically does all the work! I could barely ask for anything more. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** Implementation takes quite awhile and is not as straightforward as I would prefer, but the District Manager that I work with has been very helpful when I needed help. It integrates well with our time clock software, which makes payroll processing more efficient and reduces a lot of manual work for our management team. I really appreciate the amount of resources, education, and guidance they provide between payroll support, HR tools, compliance assisting, tax handling, onboarding resources, and reporting capabilities. They do a lot more than just payroll processing and help take a significant amount of administrative burden off us as employers, allowing us to spend more time focusing on running the business and supporting our team. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward, with lots of guidance. I felt like we had our hand held during the process, which is perfect when learning something new. ADP's customer support has also been consistently impressive. Whenever I've needed assistance, I've typically been connected with a live representative very quickly. The agents have always been professional, knowledgeable, patient, and easy to work with. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** I think sometimes some of the things that don't work for us is, you know, just, kind of, it's maybe mainly not on the platform, but maybe the sales reps that we get sales calls to try and add ons and other things that are outside the core functionality. And, sometimes, you know, that's can be a little bit overwhelming. Everything is very organized and intuitive. Even if someone who has never used it before logs in, it's not very difficult to figure out. It's very comprehensive. I've used other platforms, and so far, ADP is my favorite. Customer support is good. although sometimes there is a long queue, the agents always help to resolve all questions and concerns. My team uses it for all payrolls in North America, and it has been a very satisfactory experience. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** There are some things that cannot be handled unless authorization has been granted, such as Workers Comp. This has been requested on more than two occasions, by phone and by mail, and we have not received any updates on this matter. Therefore, we still do not have access to handle this or ask agents about it. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** ADP helps us a lot with the notifications we receive from the states. Whenever we have any questions or concerns about a specific issue, we can resolve them with the support team. I often use the onboarding feature because it's quick and easy, and I like that ADP quickly notifies me if there are any issues with the data I enter. Additionally, RUN Powered by ADP was extremely easy to set up. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** When our company bank account had to be changed, RUN Powered by ADP reset all the employee preferences for paperless stubs and I had to notify all employees to log onto their accounts and choose paperless again. This is a minor issue but I did want to mention it. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** RUN Powered by ADP solves payroll processing questions quickly via chat and ensures tax deposits and forms are filed. I couldn't figure it out, but the solution was found when I chatted with a live rep. It would be better if it was possible to make changes on the website itself. I have access to everything I need both on my computer and my phone. As a busy business owner, I appreciate having access no matter where I am. Implementation was very fast and easy. I have used client services several times in the last 9 month and each time the agent is very friendly, takes the time to listen to your issue in full and then offers to help in multiple ways: i.e. screen share or verbal instructions. I have always been to resolve my problem on the call and have never had to wait on hold more than 10 minutes. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** I have not found anything I dislike yet. I have run 20 + payrolls and each one has done accurately and super fast. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to keep both my salaried employees and contractors in separate accounts. I have all the data at my finger tips even when I am away from the office. Onboarding new contractors and employees is very easy and quick. Each of my employees and contractors have access to their ADP account and I no longer need to mail out check stubs which saves a lot of money and time. You are also assigned a personal contact at ADP when you onboard. Jacob is always helpful and if he doesn't know the answer he does the research and gets back to me with in the day. He even will call client services and wait on hold then three-way call me in so I don't have to wait on hold. ### 47. It simplifies payroll processing as I can enter payroll hours without a timeclock software. I like its fairly friendly user interface, and it has all the basic functions needed. Though setting it up was a bit cumbersome, once it was all running smoothly, it became a time saver in terms of managing direct deposits, taxes, and 401k. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** I can't schedule my employees' requested PTO in advance in the system, and I have to track it separately, which is a little annoying. I can't get a report for 401k deductions removed from my account weekly, and I've wasted too much time trying to resolve it with no help. Customer service isn't up to par. I can't use the app on my phone anymore since it became incompatible with my Galaxy, which is a huge inconvenience. My personal and admin logins require different phone numbers, so I can't set both up due to this limitation. When I've run into issues where I have to issue a one off check, it's easy to do. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** I was a little confused about exactly when I do an off cycle check or a manual check. Because of this I was in the wrong area and there are three check stuck in off cycle that I will eventually contact customer support to help me delete. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** First, none of us were familiar with payroll here so it was very difficult to run payroll every week for the city without issues. Our previous software was antiquated and continually caused issues. Switching over to ADP, all we have to do is enter our hours and everything else is processed. We also started using the app so most individuals punch in and out with the app which is extremely helpful, especially for the police dept which frequently have to punch in and out from various locations. Having the ability to log in and out from listed locations is great. Now one person can sit and do payroll instead of 2. ### 50.
