The targeting options are what make AdCritter outstanding. You can run TV ads, Internet ads and Digital Billboards. The ads can be hyper-local geo-targeted, with multiple filters so that you can target precisely the type of audience that you want based on demographics, age, gender and income.
You also get access to campaign reports and analytics which help you understand which campaigns are performing well. This helps in making data-driven decisions and ensures that every penny you spend is utilized optimally. The reports show many parameters such as Views, Clicks, Spend, Unique Viewers, Click Through Rate and many more so that you can get a complete overview of how your campaign and your overall account are performing.
Creating an ad or a campaign is really easy, with multiple templates being offered, whether you wish to create a TV ad, an Internet ad or a Billboard ad. It is a quick process and is especially useful for novice users or for companies that do not have dedicated marketing personnel. You can even track the performance of your ads by using AdCritter's tracking code and adding it to your website or landing page.
It is also free to use for the first month so you get ample time to try out the service and decide whether it is the right fit for your organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The performance of your internet ads might be affected because many people use AdBlocker, and unfortunately, AdCritter does not have a way around that. Also, unlike other platforms, the report generated is an Excel file, not a PDF, which may be off-putting for some users.
Scalability is also an issue if you're a big business with 200 or more users in your team, and the user interface is pretty minimalistic, so advanced users may find it lacking the features they require. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What's great about AdCritter is that they have a platform that makes it easy to upload ad creative and launch digital campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was extremely disappointed in the actual performance of the platform. I used the tool for internet ads based on location targets.
To test the campaigns, I set the location for a colleague's address, which is a single-family home occupied by 2 people. AdCritter's platform said we got almost 24,000 unique viewers on our ads for this test campaign. Meanwhile, my colleague reported not having ever seen any of the ads to confirm it was working.
I had to contact AdCritter two different times about this, and got a response saying everything looked "fine on their end", with no offer or collaboration on a solution or remedy.
To make matters worse, I was able to schedule a call with their CEO, who I thought might be a helpful resource. Unfortunately, he no-showed the meeting and never responded to my follow up. I thought this was ironic given that he was eager to hop on the phone to sell me on the platform just weeks earlier.
Even outside of that particular test campaign, the performance numbers provided in the dashboard for other campaigns didn't align with traffic numbers I monitored in other sources.
Overall, I felt like we wasted our money on some tool that AdCritter claims they refined by working within the defense industry, yet weren't able to deliver results or helpful solutions.
My recommendation to anyone considering AdCritter for location-based internet ads: find a different vendor who either provides dedicated CS or accountment management, or that offers managed services so you can hold them accountable for driving results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In this platform, executing campaigns is too simple, doesnot require opertional team work, every single person can execute campaigns and track the reports and get results, which is cool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AdCritter helped a lot in A/B tests. We were able to notice the improvement in our ads in the first transactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AdCritter allows you to be unshackled from the monotony of Facebook and Google Ads. You can try it for free for thirty days, after which if you want to keep using the platform, you will need to pay the monthly fee, which as of right now is $150. I could see that this would be easily worth the cost since you don't have to worry about Facebook jail, or other minor mistakes that can cost you a lot of time. Like many platforms, AdCritter provides a way to select a target audience or rely on their AI technology to find the audience that best fits your product. The cost for advertising is relatively reasonable, very comparable to Facebook with similar results. I did have a problem with my ads and was really surprised when the vice president reached out to me to help solve the problem. They even implemented a new metric I could use to ensure my ads were being displayed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When building the audience, your choices are overwhelming. I am certainly not a marketing expert, but I found that the selections for the target audience were a bit confusing. What was worse is that I had selected a particular population segment that performs well with my product. However, the ad agencies would not run my ad because it was too targeted. I would have been glad to use a different audience, but it took a couple of weeks to figure out what was going on with my ad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compared to other programmatic platforms, so easy to use and with very competitive value and flexibility. Onboarding and customer service/chat even for DIY is stellar and targeting capabilities are impressive. They have ready-made templates that are actually easy to customize or build from scratch, and they will even create the ads for you at no additional charge. We were able to see results from day one, and compared to other Ads Managers, SO easy to set up and track multiple A/B tests, change up creative and turn on/off. Currently you can only use static images in one size; wish they could use gif and video, and accept other sizes. I understand those capabilities are in the works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I found it extremely user-friendly and the platform has all the standard metrics most people would need for tracking touches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The budgeting tracking is opaque at best. Fall asleep at the wheel for a day and they'll keep charging you (automation seems to work only in their favor when it comes to budgeting). Got double charged more than once, had it fixed each time, but nonetheless, had to leave them as we're about scale-up and I can't be fretting over whether they automatically re-upped or overcharged for an ad. I have been in the display and retargeting business for quite a few years. I wanted to test some other avenues like native ads to reach some new markets. I was pleasantly surprised at how well Ad Critter worked for me and how low my CPC ended up being. The support has been excellent, and that means a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish Ad Critter would make it possible to add a company logo to the ads. That seems like a total no-brainer to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing that I love the most about AdCritter is that it is so easy and user-friendly to use. The team at AdCritter is always there to offer support and insight to better help businesses grow their brand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not have any dislikes with AdCritter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
