Every day, all day, I use Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Looking back now, I literally can't imagine how I worked with these programs before adding Ablebits tools to them. I currently use Ablebits Ultimate Suite in Microsoft Excel, and Ablebits Power Tools in Google Sheets.
There is an extremely wide variety of different formatting. sorting, processing, comparing, and converting utilities available through these Ablebits tools. In my role, I work with spreadsheets that have dozens of columns and sometimes hundreds of thousands of rows. I am able to manipulate this data easier, quicker, and more accurately than I ever could before. I can set advanced formatting rules, complete multi-layered sorting, merge and combine data sets based on certain criteria, etc.
If I was to go in-depth on the full scope of how I incorporate Ablebits into my workflow, this review could go on forever. To sum it up, if you are a spreadsheet power user, Ablebits simply takes the most powerful standard spreadsheet tools, and turbocharges them. The level of control and customization is incredible.
I will also say that I've had one interaction with Ablebits support. I reached out to them because I needed my license to be deactivated from a prior install of Excel, to which I no longer had access. In addition to responding promptly and helping me with my request, they also provided me with a free upgrade to their most recent Ultimate Suite release! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To be honest, there isn't a single significant thing I dislike about the Ablebits tools I use.
If anything, because the amount of features is so diverse and comprehensive, it can sometimes be difficult to narrow down exactly which Ablebits tool I need to use. Numerous different tools can all accomplish the same thing, just in different ways.
Also, I wish I could create automations by combining Ablebits tools in sequence. As an example, it would be useful to set up a formatting rule, followed by an extraction rule, followed by duplicate removal, etc., and just have that sequence of functions run automatically. As far as I can tell, no such automation ability like this exists in Ablebits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
