I'm not a wiz with any kind of word processing software and was nervous about setting up Jotforms for our online registration. We needed something that parents could use to sign our enrollment documents electronically and I never thought that it could be this easy. Jotforms makes creating the forms super easy and going back to edit them takes no time at all. **What do you dislike about Jotform Tables?** The only complaint that I have is that Jotforms only allows one person to have an account. I would like to have a second user with access to the forms, but I am the only one allowed to login with our account. I have tried to get help from Jotforms with this, but nothing they have sent to me has been helpful. **Recommendations to others considering Jotform Tables:** If you need a quick, easy and user-friendly application to electronically sign and access documents, Jotforms is a great option. I looked at how other schools download signed documents and none of them met our unique needs. We needed something that could be accessed by parents on their phones as well as computers and Jotforms offered that. I also needed something easy for me to check who had accessed and filled out forms. The Jotforms platform is easy to use and not confusing to look at. You do need to know some basic editing or word processing, but nothing that can't be learned while using Jotforms. **What problems is Jotform Tables solving and how is that benefiting you?** Jotforms is helping with the equity of school enrollment. Many parents do not have transportation to our school to sign enrollment forms. Jotforms can be accessed from their phone, a public computer, or from home. I love how easy it is to set up a table, create integrations, and share information with other teams members. **What do you dislike about Jotform Tables?** The customer service is not efficient. Many answers and assistance have to come from forums, and if you do get a response from a JF team member, it is often not helpful. Also, I wouldn't say I like that the export process does not break down properly in some fields. For example, if you have multiple products, it will download in the same column, which does not help finalize data. **What problems is Jotform Tables solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am collecting data from members of our organization and storing information, such as surveys, registrations, and databases. The most significant benefit is that it is easy for someone to learn how to use it. Ever since we started using it we've continued to brainstorm new ways to use forms and tables. We started off just thinking we would use it for event registration but we've eventually used it for surveys, interviews, information collection and invitations to cover events. **What problems is Jotform Tables solving and how is that benefiting you?** A quick and easy way to create registration forms for events or to conduct student surveys. Using the form builder, we can customize the details in questions, as well as the appearance of our form to appeal to potential customers. We can choose the exact format of inputted responses as buttons, text fields, email addresses, phone numbers and more. We have created if and then statements that determine what questions appear based on the customer's answers throughout the form. We have also set up email automation to let the customer know that their submission has been received. Using the PDF editor, we created a PDF document that we can download with inputs from each response to view for customer inquiries. After viewing the PDF and arriving at product or servicing recommendations, we then edit the form on our back end, choosing certain responses that relate exactly to the customer's circumstances. We created another PDF document that incorporates only the recommendations we provide once we edit the submission. Once edited and submitted on our end, this information is then translated to the PDF which is sent to the customer's email address through another email automation. Being able to create a form for our business has allowed us to reach a wider market, and generate many conversations that lead to sales for us daily. JotForms has quickly become one of our best sales tools. **What do you dislike about Jotform Tables?** Internal website changes have an impact on the operation of our form. This has happened very rarely. Such instances relate to submitted responses appearing on the PDFs and email automation processes. Whenever we arrive at an issue, the support team is always very quick to respond and assist! **Recommendations to others considering Jotform Tables:** I highly recommend the use of JotForm. For the last 10 years, organizations have been using a combo of forms & google sheets to implement essential business processes. Good: - Relational Data Guided by Forms - Adds much needed extensibility to a clean form builder to allow for better prototyping and scalability **What do you dislike about Jotform Tables?** For context on the below: our Jotform account was automatically deactivated multiple times because we were attempting to prototype a Customer Support form that would help triage customer orders when submitting for support. In the form, we were collecting "Last 4 of Credit Card," which Jotform incorrectly told us is not PCI compliant**. 1. Jotform uses a number of automations to audit and turn off their users without warning. I had to check the network responses from the website to finally figure out why my account had been suspended without warning. 2. Jotform customer support is relatively inaccessible. Their primary support is a public support forum**. It is not apparent to me looking at their support form that the posts are made public, and I was asking account-specific questions. 3. When talking with someone from Enterprise Sales: - All of my questions & concerns about the product were largely ignored - I was continually offered a contract to sign before any of my questions were resolved - This quote from their sales rep when I asked how I could avoid their automations after being turned off a second time: "We have over 10 million users on the standard plans, and the law of large numbers tells us we will also get some bad actors in there, so don't take it personally." 4. When I couldn't figure out why my account wasn't working, I logged in with an alternate email resulting in Jotform IP banning me. Since the IP they banned was my office, this meant I had to go over to a coffee shop to manage my paid ($90/month) subscription. We eventually did not sign an enterprise contract with Jotform when they refused our stipulation that they would need to give us notice before turning off our account again. They eventually told us "It looks like we are too far apart on multiple fronts to reach a signed agreement." Just to clarify, we allow collecting the last 4 digits of the CC number only. The rest of the CC information is still a violation of our terms. 1. There have been hundreds of thousands of forms created by users daily so it is incredibly time-consuming to review forms manually. So, we came up with a tool called Bayesian phishing filter. This tool automatically detects and suspends obvious phishing forms and it has been pretty successful doing so. If your account is suspended, contact us immediately for a review. If we don't see any violation, we will lift the suspension immediately. 2. Just FYI, tickets you create can be made private or you can request to make it private. You are right that our primary support is via our support system. We believe we provide better support through our support system because we’re able to take time to diagnose the problem and check in with our dev team without putting you on hold. We also provide support via email at support[at]jotform[dot]com. We are also gradually releasing our live chat support to all our users. 3. I love that I can make adjustments in JotForm Tables that will carry over to the table. We use the "Inventory Widget" on almost every form we create; having the inventories update in real-time when we are making adjustments to previous responses is a game-changer for us! **What do you dislike about Jotform Tables?** For me, at this point, using JotForm Tables beyond just collecting the data doesn't seem intuitive. I KNOW that there's TONS of potential and functionality, but I have struggled to harness it so far. I can also link this data to other platforms through jotform. I actually run the entire consumer end of our operations through jotform and their tables. Then we are able to download the data as pdf, csv or other formats. **What do you dislike about Jotform Tables?** Really nothing. We even link to paypal and square all from using jotform. All the data then displays in the tables for easy referencing and data collecting. **What problems is Jotform Tables solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are now able to have attendees register and pay online. We are also able to also have contactless registration through our tablets at the front door. Once they sign in, their data shows up on our computers in the jotform tables. It has allowed us to run our business in a more streamlined and appropriate format. Even while the Covid era is ending, we are keeping the online and onsite registration options that jotform provides. We were able to customize everything. I have been using jotform tables to manage the data of the students in my online platform and it has been working great. I like very much the automatic coloring of the data in different cells, it makes it easier to find the info you are looking for. It has a great integration with google sheets but most of the time you dont even need to send the data to it because jotform interface works great. Managing, adding and deleting info is mostly flawless in jotform tables. I would very much recommend all of the jotform ecosystem because it has many features and a better pricing and features than the other big player in the forms market. It has been working great for me for my startup. **What do you dislike about Jotform Tables?** Sometimes I would like to select and get a complete Name of a person but jotform tables separates the name and the surname in two different boxes so that makes it a bit hard to get the full name in an easier way. **Recommendations to others considering Jotform Tables:** Managing the info is great, get unto jotform ecosystem **What problems is Jotform Tables solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have been managing registration to the online courses of my tech education platform. We initially tried it out as a response to the pandemic to use in place of our original paper application process. We are now considering utilizing it as the new norm from here on out. I also enjoyed how I was able to easily track the number of visitors to my forms and see where they are located so that I could then inform my marketing team on where to advertise more. I also enjoyed how I could see where the people register for my event were located as it gave me a better idea of who my target audience was and how I could potentially accommodate them to make my event more inclusive (ie not host a discussion at 4:00 PM est and a person located in Asia would have to stay up late or vise versa). Otherwise, I really like how I could use Jotforms to create a simple but visual report which I could use to present general statistics about the event to the rest of the volunteers who have helped with the event. All in all, I was very please with JotForms and its simplicity to use. **What do you dislike about Jotform Tables?** I disliked how the search feature when reviewing the submission, sometimes it would bring up the wrong submission or not bring a submission up even though I saw that the submission previously existed. I also really liked how I was able to include the respondent's signatures and IDs so to make it more valid and access the data much easier. I found that the program had many features that can be tailored to the needs of the company and the desired outcome. **What do you dislike about Jotform Tables?** I disliked how I was unable to manipulate the table where the respondents could not respond to more than 1 choice per row. In addition, I like to speak to a live person rather than sending messages numerous times to get the assistance that I need to learn how to use the program. It would have been easier to speak to a live person to resolve my issues faster. **Recommendations to others considering Jotform Tables:** I recommend using this program if you want to receive a report, confidentiality, many options and features to use for your survey, and a place where the respondents can include their signature. **What problems is Jotform Tables solving and how is that benefiting you?** The survey has been posted for my respondents. I would have preferred if the table offered one choice or did not repeat the choices which are what happened. I really liked how I was able to include a signature on the form and that I can use the respondent's ID onto the form. We have just discovered too how to use the features of combining other form submissions into the tab views of a main form. It has improved a lot about how we were handling data before in JF, by downloading and working from spreadsheets. Now we've moved most formulations and extra fields into the original form and have multiple users working within the Tables to keep things squared away. **What do you dislike about Jotform Tables?** We still use Google integration sheets because we have an invoicing program that runs from there, so we do wish that changes made in the Table (rather than resubmitted as a full Edit) would be reflected on the sheet automatically. And I am not sure we have been able to get fields that have calculations to recalculate when we change a related field in the Table. **What problems is Jotform Tables solving and how is that benefiting you?** Now with Tables we can navigate so easily between various tabs and keep event registration organized for all our office users. If you export to excel or csv, it is too much information. I see there is an option to rename the column, but I have tried it to see whether it will change the content in my form. The addition of Tables was just the infusion it needed. You can now add data into your table with a number of options such as dropdowns, images, and checkboxes. This takes the data Jotform collects and transforms it into a flexible tool to add important information to the data collected by your form. The layout is clean and color-coding ability improves readability. Another great feature is the ability to link tables to each other. For any using airtable; it is airtable light, and sometimes, that is all you need **What do you dislike about Jotform Tables?** I really wish it had the option to customize views for client (filter, group, sort) and then share via a link. **What problems is Jotform Tables solving and how is that benefiting you?** Jotform helps keep our inboxes empty. For example, we have forms that initiate client project requests, ie. the launch of a training, change to a website, or even check request form. We used Zapier to connect with Asana, and when a new form comes in, a task is automatically created. We handle hundreds of speakers and use jotform to collect all of their information, including headshots, bios, PowerPoints.
