I like how we have a team we can turn to in helping us with any issues we are having; communication is essential for our company with any problems we are having with vidcruiter.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

There is nothing I really dislike- besides not being able to download completed references as a PDF instead of an Excel Documents.

**Recommendations to others considering VidCruiter:**

I would highly recommend using VidCruiter- they are a wonderful company to work with and have satisfied our specific needs for getting references from candidates.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its much easier for our candidates to use than our previous reference platform.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

The Vidcruiter online skill testing and pre-recorded interviews solution are easy to implement. The Vidcruiter Client support team is dedicated and highly responsive towards our candidates and staff. Very satisfied with the product, we have achieved significant time savings in staffing processes. Highly recommend VidCruiter.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

The reporting features are a work in progress. I am looking forward to full dashboards and HR analytics.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can maintain an active talent base to rapidly staff positions when clients have jobs to staff.  We can administer skill testing during the covid lockdown. We can rapidly conduct pre-recorded interviews within a week,  as management scheduling conflicts no longer delay the process. We have been able reduce administrative burden and speed selection processes.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

How you can customize anything and everything!  All aspects from beginning to end can be completed right in Vidcruiter making it ideal for both recruiters and applicants.  To stay competitive in the market candidates want to see innovative, user-friendly tools and Vidcruiter meets those expectations.  It is great to be able to set up all your applicant steps, recruiter steps and communicate directly with candidates all using the same tool.  Vidcruiter has an amazing client-service team who are available within seconds to help answer your questions and questions from applicants. The team ensures your advertisements are well set-up before launching to have a successful outcome.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

The translation has been improved which is great but would like to see a simpler version that is easier for formatting.

Overall the platform takes getting used to since you really have to build everything from the start. It can be overwhelming at first but the more you use it, the easier it becomes and the less questions you have.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vidcruiter keeps all the data in the system so it has solved any issues we previously had with paper-copy documents since it is all digitally saved (including interview recordings, ratings, exams, etc.).

There is not a way send a reminder to managers to add availibilty to their calender.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

VidCruiter is a very well-thought-out platform I enjoyed using for a large public service recruitment process. The Applicant Tracking System is fantastic and intuitive to use. We have a unique recruitment process and the system was very customizable to our specific needs. The VidCruiter customer support is unparalleled. They provide exceptional support and quickly and reliably solve any problems that come up and were very helpful in finding solutions to the challenges posed by the unique nature of our process.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

Not much to dislike with VidCruiter. I look forward to further adoption of the software by my department so I can make the most of other tools and features. One thing I would like to see in the future is adding a filter logic or options for exclusions for tags when using the advance search

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits to our team have been numerous: 
We're saving tons of time using these tools that we can dedicate to other aspects of our work;
We've improved the application experience for clients;
We've been able to eliminate some unconscious bias in our screening process.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

The implementation of VidCruiter could not have been easier! Our team explained all of the features thoroughly and helped us with our thought exercises of how to best implement the solution for our needs.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

There is no synchronization with our ATS, which is not a dealbreaker. It just makes us think harder about how to make both systems work together.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are saving time by screening candidates with one-way interviews. We are not wasting time on candidates that "look good on paper." We are also improving our access to diverse candidates.

It's simple! It's super easy to use the applicant steps and recruiter steps. It's very automated so you don't have to check into your postings that often. It's very customizable as well - it works very well for our call taker position as there are many steps. VidCruiter Support is also the best - super kind and quick reponses.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

I wish there was an easier way to upload interview decks. It's very time consuming to add one field at at time. I wish you could enter your questions and the rating field so that it would auto-generate the interview deck.

Because of the complex nature of our program, we were unable to use the video interviewing tool.

VidCruiter is a great product and easy to use once you have gotten over the initial (slight) learning curve.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

The web app is very user-friendly, and often very intuitive. We have been using it non-stop since acquiring Vidcruiter.
If you do run into a snag, the support team is always there to help you.  The online support staff response time is quick, and they will spend the time it takes to help resolve your issue or answer your question, and always with a positive attitude.
Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

I haven't come across any dislikes so far, and I have been using it for many months.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are not necessarily solving problems, but more simplifying things for our clients and for ourselves.  We (HR) can include all the information we require and extract data reports (yes, there is an option for that!) .  Vidcruiter has simplified our work, and has been so easy to use.

Integration across many avenues and workflows make it very easy to take manual work out of the picture.
A pretty solid support group to assist with questions and concerns.
Interview customization is very helpful and easy.

The pay per video is pretty rough. I would prefer especially for bigger volumes to be able to pay for an unlimited service.

I think VidCruiter could include potential built-in tips and tricks especially for younger interviewees such as students and young adults. EG if below age 20, provide extra recording chances.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

I appreciate the seamlessness of the candidate experience on VidCruiter. It integrated well with our career page and is very intuitive for candidates to follow. The simplicity of the application process also allows users to review and sort candidate applications with ease.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

The user interface when setting up positions, interview guides, etc. is not the most intuitive and takes some time to learn.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer need to house our applications in different folders, platforms, etc. Not only do we have all of our recruitment-related documents housed in VidCruiter, but we now have the functionality to conduct video screening, which eliminates one timely step from our recruitment process.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

Working together with the Vidcruiter team to create and customize a system that fit our needs has been detrimental to refining our selection process and making it function as efficiently as possible. We have used most of the functions that Vidcruiter provides and have had much success. The automatic features that the platform offers have made the logistics of our process so much more manageable, and we can direct our resources elsewhere while still getting the job done. The availability, expertise, and professionalism of the client success support team have also been a tremendous factor in our success with this software.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

For our highly extensive and customized purposes, there isn't much to dislike about the program. VidCruiter continuously surprises us with its efforts to listen to its client's needs and develop new functions that become beneficial for all who use this platform.

**Recommendations to others considering VidCruiter:**

The team is extraordinary, and they have gone above and beyond to make adjustments and customize Vidcruiter to meet our needs and ease of use. Their support and customer services are beyond measure. 
The program is efficient and very easy to use. Plus, you have all the information you need right at your fingertips.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multi-use and accessible as we have many employees who travel or are located regionally, cost-efficient, paperless and a shareable online data bank that we can provide to our HR department, it's a great information tracking system, access to reports and statistics, ease of correspondence and client information. It takes the guess work out of the process by providing a rating for the candidate throughout the steps. It is an equivalent to a one stop shop for our purposes as we have one system for most functions and one contact for support. Well worth it!

It is easier to manage and track candidates' applications and improves their experience as it can be more personalized.  Also, reduce HR tasks as we can screen candidates with filtering and other vital functions.

I like that my responsibility is more oversight. The candidate and the hiring manager must be responsible for entering their information and availability. It takes the back and forth away from scheduling which in turn, saves so much time.

I honestly cannot think of any. the customer service is fantastic and this platform has helped me so much!

the time-consuming responsibility of scheduling interviews as a recruiter. it has allowed me to have much more freedom to take care of the core responsibilities of my role and not so much admin work.

I can not say enough about the colleagues at VidCruiter they are the true meaning of what great customer service is. They are always quick to answer your questions and provide suggestions to you on how to improve the applicants experience.  Remi and James are great ambassadors for your brand.

I like everything about this product.  It is a learning curve at first but Remi and James have been there every step of the way with us to ensure our needs are met.

It is a great product, I highly recommend it for any company that does high volume recruiting

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main reason we decided to use VidCruiter was to speed up our hiring time.  This system allows the applicants to answer our interview questions when it is convenient for them and not have to try and organize an interview around our schedule.  With everything now online it has dramatically decreased the time we have to spend on each applicant to ensure they complete all steps of the application process

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

The Vidcruiter team made it very easy to set up our interview process.  They taught us the important pieces we needed to know and they took care of the rest.  The intuitive interface for reviewing and grading candidates was also super simple and required little to no training for the folks who had to review the candidates but were not part of the Vidcruiter set up process.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

You do not get to interact with the candidate so you lose a bit of the interpersonal connection with a virtual process.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vidcruiter allowed us to conduct a completely virtual interview process for a large number of candidates over a week.  This saved us a lot of time, energy, and money over scheduling and coordinating the live in person interview process for all of the candidates.  Ultimately, we were able to complete the interview process in 1/3 the time it usually takes.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

We implemented VidCruiter this year to increase flexibility for our candidates and team. Our team enjoys being able to review interviews at the time that's most convenient for them rather than going back and forth with candidates to find a mutually agreeable time. Our implementation team has been highly responsive and helpful this year - we feel very supported by them.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

For our configuration, exporting scoring data from VidCruiter is somewhat clunky. We would probably use this feature more if it didn't require us to do so much formatting to prep the data for analysis.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving for decreased capacity on our team. Having recorded interviews means that any recruiter can review the video - it helps us to distribute candidates across the team so everyone can have a great experience.

How knowledable the vidcruiter team was about the software application, their willingness to help, and how relevant it was to the work we do in staffing and especially in the context of staffing and the need to assess virtually.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

This was a learning curve for us, and also for the team in this unique type of streamed process. I wont say there was anything dislike.

The benefits are how relevant it was to the work we do in staffing and especially in the context of staffing and the need to assess virtually.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

That I was able to film the interview on my own time, I set time aside on the weekend to prepare for my interview and to record my replies which meant that the application process didn't impact the consulting work I was involved in during business hours, and I didn't feel rushed or distracted to balance my professional responsibilities with the interview during business hours.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

The timer was a bit nerve-wracking, and speaking to myself without any human interaction to feed off of, was odd initially.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VidCruiter solved the problem of not being able to meet in person during the pandemic. It also offered more flexible scheduling to those applying.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

The customer service from this team was incredible. 
Every time I had any kind of question I would get a response within 5-10 minutes.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

The software did take me quite a bit to learn.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This program is a full service recruiting tool. 
Working in the public service we are required to consider every candidate who applies for a process.
In addition much of our assessments are quite fullsome.
this tool allowed us to more expeditiously assess candidates without comprimising the quality of an assessment.
The average staffing process in the Public service is about 6 months, using this tool and the expert guidance of Remi Gaudet, our Vidcruiter implementation manager we were able to cut that down to just over 2 months.

Easy to use for the interview face to face interviews. The recording is very clear, and there are no interruptions. Easy for the applicant to share a screen when needed.

There have been no issues with the vid cruiter. All systems are functioning as intended for the purpose of recruiting and completing face to face interviews,

Small limitations with certain tools but glad to see that the features and functionalities are updated frequently. Would like to see the translation section formatted in one area.

To further improve VidCruiter, the company should link to other job sites, for example, LinkedIn.

In our business, we are hiring a lot of contract workers. VidCruiter has made the process very easy because it can filter those who are not qualified via the qualifying questions.  The video interview process gives the hiring manager an insight into the candidate without meeting in person. It streamlines the process of hiring staff. We have hired 15 candidates through VidCruiter, and we continue to hire for other territories.

Could you get by with Teams or Zoom? Sure. But once you see VidCruiter in action you'll realize how clunky those solutions are when interacting with candidates outside of your own company.

The only feature that I can think of that I would prefer being built differently is how all the marks from one interview are taken and shown as an average. We need candidates to have the pass mark to each question.

VideCruiter Video Interview platform is user friendly enought that most people will be able to use. However, that will be great if more online learning or training materials are avaiable for administrators to onboard new interview raters who may be less familier with online platforms.

I can't say there is anything I dislike. The learning curve is steep but once trained in the software it is a great program for assessing candidates.

This software is a wonderful program for assessing candidates, especially in the virtual climate we find ourselves in.
The staffing process I was involved in was a 3 Stream process that required some thinking outside the box to make the program work. The Vidcruiter team was very innovated.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

It's extremely easy to use and customizable. Even before the pandemic, I used Vidcruiter to screen candidates. I haven't experienced any technical difficulties. I like that there are different options for types of questions so there can be a mix of video responses and written responses including selection of drop down options. 

It's easy to turn positions on and off and re-use the existing templates. Instead of building a new set of questions each time for every position, I customize the existing ones. 

I have also been on the other side as the applicant completing a video interview. It was my first time completing an interview where I had to record my responses, but it was very straightforward and I was able to play back and rerecord my responses which I liked.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

There hasn't been anything that I dislike. Vidcruiter has always been very responsive if I have any questions.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speeds up the recruitment process and saves time - instead of scheduling time to meet for an in person interview, the preliminary interview is done by the candidate when they have time and reviewed by me later on. Since the templates are built, set up time is very minimal as well.

This software is very user-friendly and customizable to our staffing needs. Vidcruiter provided excellent support to our HR Team with the integration of this software, and continues to provide next-level support to our team. Between the functionality of the software and the tech support they provide to candidates, Vidcruiter has made our processes infinitely more efficient by covering almost all administrative aspects of recruiting. Remi and Brittany have been so helpful with ensuring that our team is trained, supported and that our staffing processes are set up in an organized and efficient manner.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

The only aspect that has room for improvement is that it can be cumbersome to create custom emails for each process. It would be very helpful if we could edit the email templates from the specific process.

Vidcruiter has improved the efficiency in our processes. The product is easy to use for candidates and their software makes it so easy for the assessors to rate each candidate.

Over roughly 6 months of partnership with VidCruiter, I have been very impressed with their customer service. We have had exceptional guidance, partnership, education, listening and responsiveness from our account representative and other support persons who have helped in implementation and evolution of our configuration and use of the tool. I really like the reliability of the product, the customization capabilities, the integration with our ATS, and the continuing introduction of new features and functionalities as VidCruiter matures. I feel like we are genuinely heard, that our feedback is not just acknowledged but it is incorporated into the future of the platform. When dealing with front-end, customer (candidate)-facing technologies like this, it is so important to feel confident in the product and the company that stands behind it. And I feel confident with VidCruiter and their team members.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

It is not so much a matter of dislike, but an area of concern and caution when it comes to new technology. A potential pitfall of inserting technology into the very human process of hiring is impact on candidate experience; we are finding that it is important to remember that technology can't take the place, entirely, of human interaction in the eyes of candidates. With that said, some smaller human touches in conjunction with the technology can help give candidates a robust sense of respect and personalization.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to handle a higher volume of applicants with the same or fewer recruitment resources; hiring managers absolutely love the ability to see and hear candidates directly, rather than getting a written summary of conversations with someone else. And, we are finding that hiring teams are moving more quickly through the process than before, expediting things and achieving greater efficiencies across a high volume of openings. Finally, the rating and data capture functionality is opening doors to new areas of insight in the hiring process.

I did extensive research on all of the competing products in this space and ended up paying for several of them separately and testing them. Vidcruiter blew everyone out of the water, it was not a competition. Their customer support team, their willingness to go the extra mile on customization, and the product features & functionality are incredible. I wish I hadn't wasted my time on any other product haha.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

Nothing to note here. My experience has been exceptional. The only thing that I dislike is that I wasted my time tinkering with competitors' products that were priced slightly lower. You get what you pay for and much more with Vidcruiter - it is worth every penny.

Our use case is very a very custom one that we came up with. Vidcruiter has allowed us the flexibility to accomodate our unique approach and the benefits have been a large funnel of great candidates that have enjoyed going through this unique 1-way video process.

VidCruiter allows our hiring team to review candidates on their own time. By the time a candidate makes it to a live interview, we are reviewing some of the best candidates. It has cut down our team's live interviewing time significantly. Integrating with Indeed is a gamechanger as well.

The video interviewing isn't as helpful for some more local or senior roles as it adds a cumbersome step, but again, excellent for remote roles.
