## Scribe Reviews
 ### 1. Efficient Guide Creation, Minimal Setup Hassle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellie B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe is really fast and almost invisible because it's very behind the scenes. I also appreciate the ability to edit on the go and at the end.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish I could make edits to the instruction text during the time that I'm recording a demo.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe lets me avoid typing step-by-step instructions manually or recording a Loom video, allowing people to follow at their own pace.

 ### 2. Effortless Process Capture and Editing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Owen G. | Someone Who Likes to Help Entrepreneurs, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Very easy to use, capture processes and then edit.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The sharing feature is a bit clunky and it's easy to invite someone to join rather than just sharing a single scribe.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to show clients screen by screen instructions on how to do things without having to find a time to meet for a screen sharing session. And it gives them something they can revisit.

 ### 3. Effortless IT Knowledge Base Creation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher G.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I appreciate the ease of use of Scribe as it's extremely simple to operate. The responsiveness and ability to export directly to Confluence are highlights for me. Being able to select which space it goes to is ideal, and this feature works extremely well, especially since we use Confluence as our knowledge base within our Jira ITSM.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Nothing at this time.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create quick knowledge base articles, solving repeated low-level ITSM tickets. It's simple, responsive, and exports directly to Confluence, selecting spaces easily.

 ### 4. Makes Process Documentation Easy for Building Repeatable AI Agents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It has made it incredibly easy for me to document processes once so that I can build AI agents that can then follow them time and time again.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It's incredibly easy to set up and it's very intuitive.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

He used to spend a lot of time writing down procedures and updating them, but now I just do the task. I execute it once, and the procedure is documented.

 ### 5. Effortless SOP Creation with Powerful Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen W.

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love Scribe's ease of use and straightforward setup process, which made it easy for me to get started right away. I appreciate its detailed documentation capabilities, capturing every click and browser tab, and allowing real-time edits. The ability to pause and resume is particularly handy, ensuring no extraneous data is captured. Scribe's use of screenshots and highlighted areas helps colleagues understand processes precisely. Its accuracy and the way it performs exactly as I need it to makes it an invaluable tool for creating SOPs.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish the software was more specific in documenting instructions. When it saves a step, it often just states 'click here' instead of providing detailed descriptions, such as 'click on this button that says this.' This lack of specificity in the instructions is something I find limiting.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe helps me create detailed SOPs with pictures, saving significant time compared to manually documenting processes. It streamlines creating instructions, making it seamless and efficient.

 ### 6. User-Friendly Process Documentation Tool with Minor Lag Issues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josie Q. | Manager, Facilities & IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I appreciate the ease of use and the way Scribe captures screenshots of all my actions seamlessly. This is particularly helpful for documenting processes and creating legacy documents for my work. Documenting steps on my desktop or browser is straightforward and greatly aids in process documentation.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I didn't find the free version entirely sufficient for my needs, particularly when it comes to sharing documents or exporting them to PDF. The process of making the documents usable was lacking. Additionally, the voice dictation feature tends to lag on my computer, which is frustrating. I also wish I could edit screen captures on the fly rather than having to wait until later. The cost for a small team is expensive, as a not for profit. I will have to check if there is NFP pricing.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I document work processes easily, creating legacy documents for smooth transitions post-retirement. Scribe automates steps documentation with ease.

 ### 7. Super User-Friendly with Impressive AI Generations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah T. | Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Super user friendly and easy to use. I really like the AI generations as well

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Having to have a software for things that arent on the browser

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me help colleagues on how to complete certain forms

 ### 8. Effortless Documentation with Intuitive Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany K. | Analyst/Programmer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that Scribe allows me to create and share content with just a few clicks. The ease of use and customization are great, and I appreciate not having to take and save screenshots on my own. The initial setup was incredibly easy.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

n/a

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe allows me to create and share content with just a few clicks. It's easy to use and customize, and I don't have to take and save screenshots manually.

 ### 9. Simplest way to collaborate and make training content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vidhi S. | Senior Supply Chain Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is incredibly easy to use and implement — it captures step-by-step processes on every click without any effort. The intuitive interface, strong browser and desktop support, and quick sharing options make it a huge time-saver for documenting how to guides for me and my team. We have recently used it for drafting Training content

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It could offer more advanced editing features and flexibility in customizing steps after recording. Occasionally, the formatting time is increased as i have to give a lot of context on the image captured, it would be nice to have some AI capability to read through the image and understand the essence of the document.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating clear, standardized content for a large audience during our recent tool deployment was a major challenge. Scribe makes this super convenient — my team and I have been working on multiple SOPs and how-to guides using its in-built screen capture and step-by-step documentation features.

Scribe automatically creates clean, well-formatted documents with clear instructions and integrated screenshots, so there’s no need to use separate snipping tools or spend time fixing formatting in MS Word. It also includes image editing options directly within the tool, saving a ton of time and effort.

Additionally, documents can easily be shared as hyperlinks on SharePoint or Teams, keeping everyone aligned and up to date. Overall, it streamlines guide creation, improves consistency, and boosts team collaboration.

 ### 10. Scribe is amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Missy D. | Office Manager/RecTrac Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has been so great! 10 year ago I had to take a month off do to heath reasons, I had to make "How To's" for my whole job in 3 weeks before I left, all by hand, screen shot, paste in to a document, type what I did, It took that whole three weeks to get it done and teach everyone what needed to be done while I was gone, and still did not get everything.
I am using Scribe to update these (had not done it because of the time it takes)! What took me weeks has taken me minutes!! I showed another staff member how to do this as he will be out of the office for a few weeks, and his staff and I will now have a "How To's" for his job. Scribe is a lifesaver!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There is a learning curve. It does not always capture the click you need, and it is not super easy to add that back in, BUT considering the alternative, I will take it. I am just starting to use this, and I am sure that the curve will shorten the more I use it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am the only person who knows how to do some things in our Recreation Registration Software. By making a Scribe, I can leave basic directions on how to do some things so that I can take a vacation and know things will get done and done correctly. I am also using it to train new employees on the Registration software, so they have a reference to refer back to if they are working when I am not.

 ### 11. Scribe Streamlines Training—Just Wish for PDF Export

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy L. | Payroll Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe makes it so easy to share info and train my team remotely. What used to take me an hour of clipping and pasting screenshots into an email is now done in a matter of minutes with Scribe! Plus I love that I can save my Scribes and use them again and again! Highly recommend to anyone looking to simply their life!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The only downside I have experienced to date is that I can't save my Scribes to PDF.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily share procedures and instructions from my payroll software with my team.

 ### 12. Effortless Training Material Creation with Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandra I. | Product Owner

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really appreciate how Scribe saves me a lot of time by automatically handling screenshots, editing, and adding verbiage, cutting down my time by 80%. I also like how easy it is to use and its flexibility with both a browser and a desktop app. This flexibility allows me to use different browsers for technical support, and without the app, I would be restricted to using only one browser for screen capturing. The initial setup was very easy, and I am likely to recommend it to others.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

n/a

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe saves me a lot of time by automatically taking screenshots, editing, and adding verbiage, cutting down my time by 80%.

 ### 13. Turn any task into an SOP -once and DONE!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renee S. | Principal Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe saves me so much time when it comes to documenting SOPs or other recurring processes. It truly is as simple as: click a button → do the task → click again. Instantly, I get a clean step-by-step guide with readable screenshots. I love being able to edit the steps, add extra materials or headings, and copy a shareable link—without having to navigate away from the guide.

Most of my clients have never formally documented their workflows. With Scribe, I can create polished, professional training materials for them in no time at all. When I don't have access to complete a task for my client, it has been so simple to add a client to my account and have them download the Scribe extension to capture the steps.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It’s not flawless—when working across multiple browser windows or capturing pop-up screens, the auto-capture doesn’t always track perfectly, which means I occasionally spend extra time editing those steps.

Also, while the online format is ideal for quick sharing and clarity, a few of my clients prefer printed guides, and unfortunately, the current print layout isn’t very user-friendly or easy to customize. It’s a small tradeoff, but one that can be frustrating when working with more traditional teams.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe has helped me serve clients faster and more professionally—especially those who’ve never documented their processes at all. With Scribe, I’m able to deliver customized, easy-to-follow instructions in minutes, which builds trust and makes it easier for clients to follow through on training, delegate, or scale their business. It’s boosted both my efficiency and the value I bring to each engagement.

 ### 14. Super Easy Sharing and Step-by-Step Instructions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca L. | Education Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy to share, super easy to create step by step instructions

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I would love to be able to create videos that could be shared within our website

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teaching new processes to current staff and training new staff

 ### 15. Effortless Process Documentation Made Simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zack M. | Director of FP&A, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Makes documenting processes on the fly so easy and convenient.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish it had voice transcription so I could narrate the process and I'm recording screenshots

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documenting process takes time, and I often find it difficult to carve it out of a busy work week. Scribe allows me to create documentation quickly and easily, as I'm doing the task at hand.

 ### 16. Scribe has made a real difference

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison H. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Easy client SOPs in minutes. No more time sink.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Did have to subscribe so I could redact sensitive information

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating step-by-step instructions for clients to follow was taking up so much of my time. Writing the text, taking screenshots, taking more screenshots when you realised you forgot some, editing screenshots to highlight what you want them to click on, formatting. It was slow and clients wouldn't understand why it took so long.

With Scribe, I just "do" the process, it captures everything, every click, every scroll. For me that is a huge time saving. I get consistent and professional looking client instructions and get to spend my time doing the more high-value work for the client.

 ### 17. Scribe positively changed our process and training guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve R. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Since we started using Scribe (~Aug 2023), we have created hundreds of guides/process docs across our company. The ease of using the tool gets everyone leaning in to creating more, and our colleagues that consume the material appreciate the formatting. It has saved us so much time and elevates our products for end users. Hard to imagine not having Scribe.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

As AI becomes more embedded into our daily workflows, it would be great if it was integrated into Scribe and could synthesize Scribes into responses depending on what people searched. Would love to see our Organization Scribe Landing page that our users could go to and search for answers. Depending on the content we had created already, the AI would be able to produce cohesive answers.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing us to get so many more SOPs and guides pulled together. Instead of jumping on a meeting to do a screen share, I will quickly pull together a Scribe and share the link. Chances are, if one person is asking for the information, multiple people would benefit from it.

 ### 18. Time saving and user friendly documentation tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan G. | Senior Salesforce Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love Scribe! It has made it so easy to create documentation for our Salesforce platform. What used to take me 1-2 days to take screenshots and add text now takes a couple of hours. We love it so much we upgraded to a paid version. The time savings alone is worth the investment.
Implementation was easy and virtually non-existent since we just installed the Chrome widget.
On top of that, their customer support has been great the few times we've needed to use it.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The only complaint I have is that I can clone an entire document, but I can't copy/paste steps from one file to another.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes training documentation easier for us to use. We are a small team running a large platform, so the time savings was wonderful.

 ### 19. Effortless Screenshot Capture with Clear Step-by-Step Annotations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like that it captures screenshots and annotates steps related to the image

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It is difficult to combine multiple scribe capture docs together without the assistance of other software (like MS Word)

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is making the creation of training docs, administrative docs, and example instructions more effortless and efficient.

 ### 20. Effortless Manual Creation Makes Training a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin P. | Especialista en infraestructura de productos, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It allows us to create user and internal team manuals so quickly that it becomes easy to train anyone on exactly what we need.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't really have any complaints about it; it delivers exactly what it promises.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The manual and process documentation are clear and helpful, making it easier to understand the procedures involved.

 ### 21. Scribe makes digital tutorial easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I've been creating tutorials on how to utilize websites and other technology. Scribe has made it super easy for me to go through the necessary steps, capture the screen as I go, then edit the details. I love that it generates mouse movements, so I don't have to worry about search the screen or moving too quickly or slowly. It also has a great AI voice, so I don't feel uncomfortable talking into the computer and worrying about mistakes that will need follow up editing. The links are easy to share and can be made into different types of materials.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I really enjoy using scribe. There is not much I would change.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is helping me create tutorials. Otherwise, I would be taking screenshots, or making tedious how to videos that look clunky. It cuts the time down dramatically and increases the professionalism and appearance of my resources.

 ### 22. How-tos that Follow Along

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie D. | Planning Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that I can just click around and do my processes and procedures, and scribe captures everything I do and turns it into a quick and easy to read and follow guide so others can follow along.

Especially for one-time set-ups I just capture what I'm doing as I set up for myself and can very quickly turn around and send it to my fellow employees to set-up whatever they need to as well.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I haven't made too many yet but would like to add notes to certain steps in clearer ways, but at this point is likely user (me) error

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of spending hours trying to detail all of the instructions for a process , I get to just do the process myself and have scribe follow along and grab everything I'm doing.

I don't have to think about screenshots and saving pictures and formatting everything just follows my screen and shows the relevant info.

 ### 23. Easy to use, great funtionality and amazing amount of time saved

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kingsley N. | People & Culture Systems Partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I’ve been using Scribe for a while now and it’s become one of those tools I don’t have to think twice about. What stands out for me is how flexible the export options are—you can get the output in the format you actually need instead of being stuck with one style. The redaction feature is another big plus, especially when I’m dealing with sensitive information. It’s simple to hide what shouldn’t be shared without messing up the rest of the document. Above all, it’s just easy to use. There’s no steep learning curve, which means I can get things done quickly without digging through help guides.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

No particular ideas occur to me at this time

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing people who just “know how things are done.” If they’re away or leave, that knowledge can vanish. Scribe captures their steps automatically so everyone can see and use them.

Scribe makes step-by-step guides in minutes. Some teams say it’s cut their training time by about a third.

Support teams don’t have to explain the same thing over and over. They can share a Scribe guide once, and anyone can follow it whenever they need.

Saving hours because they don’t have to write instructions from scratch. It’s as simple as doing the task once and letting Scribe record it.

If sensitive details pop up while recording, Scribe can blur them out on the spot, so there’s no risk of sharing things that shouldn’t be seen.

 ### 24. Scribe - Making documenting processes easy!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabelle M. | Business Operations Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really appreciate the 'guide me' functionality. Scribe not only records my screen and documents my actions as I work, which saves me from duplicating my documentation efforts, but it also makes it incredibly easy for others to follow the documents I create.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I really wish the Guide Me function were also available on the desktop platform.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We frequently have to document both internal and external processes for our staff and customers. This usually means spending hours capturing screenshots, adding notes to each one, and then recording a video to go along with them. Scribe has addressed all of these challenges in a single, easy-to-use platform.

 ### 25. Very useful and very intuitive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I’ve used scribe in the past as a free user and I love it, it was very limited but it helped me a lot creating training documents for my team. When I started a new position, I recommended Scribe to my current employer and they loved it as well, we ended up purchasing the pro version which was so much better than I what I expected. I love the voice transcription because sometimes I want to add more details about what I’m documenting, I also love how easy it is to open the extension and click start capturing and you’re on your way. The best part is that you can easily share the documents you created with everyone on your team and you can even see who saw it so you can track adoption as well.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish the walk through option was offered in the pro version as well since it’s the most accessible plan but I understand that this is for enterprise only.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s reducing the amount of time it takes to create a training or an SOP document, it provide easy sharing as well.

 ### 26. Effortlessly Create SOPs with Scribe

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how easy it is to use Scribe and how easy the editing process is of your Scribe. It solves the issues of having to manually show my team how to do something on HubSpot. My team also said the setup was smooth.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I wish there was a way to add steps through the recorders vs. having to upload a photo

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to create sales team SOPs, solving the issue of manually showing my team how to do things in HubSpot.

 ### 27. Scribe has been a game changer for our team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carly F. | Development Program Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is an absolute game-changer for anyone who needs to create SOPs, onboarding materials, or how-to guides. What used to take me hours of screenshots, formatting, and explaining now takes just a few clicks. All I have to do is start recording, go through the process once, and Scribe automatically generates a beautiful, step-by-step guide—complete with screenshots and clear instructions.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have not come across anything I dislike.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe has been super helpful with Asana, a project management software that our company uses. Within Asana we have hundreds of projects with different workflows. Scribe has been a way to teach Asana members how to work in these projects, step by step.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsten L.

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how Scribe makes setting up and using it super easy, especially due to its extension feature, which simplifies my workflow. The software greatly saves me time by allowing me to set up tutorials that my team can follow independently, eliminating the need for one-on-one meetings. The capturing and editing features are incredibly useful for creating detailed onboarding tutorials. Overall, Scribe has made my life easier, and even those in my team who struggle with technology can quickly adapt due to the tutorials I've created with it.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I could see people potentially struggling with the extension aspect.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Scribe to save time by creating tutorials for onboarding, eliminating the need to meet with each team member individually. It makes tasks easy for my team, even those struggling with technology.

 ### 29. Scribe turbocharges our process changes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob S. | Prosecuting Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I have used both the windows app and the browser extension. Either make things extremely easy. We use a web-based software service that has complicated explanations to put into words... but explaining how I can click through a process, narrate it, and show the results make it extremely easy to integrate into existing processes. Each of the features makes it so easy to customize the walk-throughs, demonstrations and how-to FAQ's and beyond. I'm using it several times a week when we get questions from staff that need an explanation. Getting started was a snap - literally a handful of minutes and I was ready to start using the tool.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It could be I just haven't figured out how to have my narrations stick around to run at the same time as the voice. That would be a great feature. It didn't immediately jump out to me if that's possible.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Explaining use of our case management software program and explaining specific processes that are hard to put into words.
Expediting repeated tasks for cross-checking work against existing dockets and lists.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe is a quick, user-friendly, and intuitive app that lets you capture each step of a process as you perform it. You have the option to record voice-to-text instructions or allow the app to generate instructions automatically, which you can later review and edit for clarity. This approach eliminates the need to manually take screenshots, organize them into a document, and write out each step, saving significant time. The completed Scribe can be easily shared as a document, uploaded, or provided as a link wherever necessary. It's a great tool for creating work instructions for new employees, standard operating procedures, or step-by-step guides for customers who need help.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I have not identified any areas that require improvement.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has truly changed the way I document processes and develop training materials. Instead of stopping to take screenshots or trying to remember every step, I just go through the task as I normally would, and Scribe automatically creates a clear, step-by-step guide. This has saved me countless hours and eliminated the stress of missing important details.

I now depend completely on Scribe for quickly and easily putting together training content and documenting processes. The guides it generates are visual and extremely easy to follow.

Overall, Scribe has made the process of documenting and sharing how-to information much quicker and far less of a chore. If you’re looking to make your training and onboarding materials clearer and faster to produce this tool is indispensable.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Although I occasionally need to tidy up a few captures, Scribe still saves me hours when creating documentation and training materials.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe removes the manual work of capturing steps and writing instructions. It speeds up how I document processes and helps me create clearer, more consistent training content.

 ### 37. Quick, Easy, Effective Guides & Tutorials

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love how quick and easy it is to create Scribes. I can simply turn on the Chrome Extension and then simply follow the steps that I want to turn into a guide and then it is created. It is as easy as that. The ability for it to also automatically blur or redact content is incredibly helpful. The ability to just turn on the extension and for it to work is amazing. Everyone we have shared these Scribe guides with has loved them. Scribe pages are also proving to be a fantastic tool we are beginning to use more!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

There are times where the AI does not quite capture the exact step, but it is close enough where I only need to make some slight adjustments.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create tech guides, step by step directions, and other helpful tools and resources for students and instructors.

 ### 38. This has made it so easy to quickly show how to do something, but now I only have to do it once!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody M. | Chief Operating Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really love the smart blur function, it helps me to create walk-throughs insensitive systems like our payroll and HR.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

When I finish a guide, I do find myself spending a lot of time deleting extra clicks and adding text. This is probably because I’m a perfectionist with anything I put out, but it would be nice if it could pick up more words for the buttons I click. A lot of times it reverts to click here when the button isn’t something simple as next or apply. I would also love to delete steps as I go instead of having to wait until the end, it’s a little harder to remember what I want to delete when I finish a guide, but it’s easier as I go to just delete them on the right if that were an option. I could probably get better at pausing the recording myself for some of those situations.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve needed to delegate a lot of processes that I currently perform myself, in the past few months this Tool has made it so much easier for me to record all of these repetitive tasks that I perform and provide those walk-throughs to my team so that they can start taking them over. It truly has made all of it so much easier. In the past, when one of these processes came up. I would need to either try to catch a team members attention in the moment, hold it off for when they’re ready, or wait until the next time. Now I’m able to capture these procedures and use this for their learning in an asynchronous way and given they can access it at any time in the future, it is honestly 10 times better than showing them in person.

 ### 39. Effortless —Scribe Does the Heavy Lifting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katy W. | Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I really appreciate how Scribe handles about 90% of the work for me. I can simply focus on completing my tasks, and it takes care of everything else.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Since it captures every click, the process notes can sometimes become quite lengthy and may require some editing to keep them concise.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used Scribe to create process notes, which makes it much easier for us to transfer jobs between team members.

 ### 40. A Must-Have for Quick and Clear Documentation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annelie R. | Customer Experience Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has been a game-changer for our team. It’s incredibly user-friendly and made creating Help Center articles faster and more consistent. The browser integration was easy to set up with clear step-by-step instructions, and we were up and running in no time. It’s a huge time-saver, especially when we are constantly updating our Help Center guides as our product evolves and we launch new features. In addition to our Help Center guides, it's super useful for documenting repetitive internal processes or onboarding new team members.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

While there’s still a bit of room for improvement in customization options, such as resizing the Click target, overall, it’s a solid tool that makes documentation quick, easy, and professional. Highly recommend for teams looking to elevate their support content efficiently.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team was looking for a tool that would save us time and reduce manual work. Instead of taking individual screenshots and writing out each step, Scribe automatically captures processes and turns them into clear, shareable guides. This has saved our team a significant amount of time and made it much easier to create consistent Help Center articles and internal resources. It’s especially helpful for onboarding and support, where quick and accurate documentation is key.

 ### 41. Amazing Screenshot Capture and Activity Narrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin O. | Manager, International Benefits, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It's amazing how it captures screen shots and narrates my activities.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

It doesn't capture things that I'm not doing online.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me document standard operating procedures much more quickly versus doing it manually with screenshots. Massively increasing my productivity.

 ### 42. Makes training staff so much simpler

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellie S. | Operations Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Step by step guides are made while you're doing work you'd already do, so it doesn't take extra time out of your day to complete them.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

Its probably a bit too specific in the descriptions it makes for each step, so i do have to edit them quite a lot, but that takes way less time than screenshotting and writing up from scratch.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business is new, so we're in the process of setting up new systems and defining our processes. This is helping us document all of our processes as we develop them, without any extra effort or time spent.

 ### 43. Team started using it after just 1 day!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherrie B. | District Partnership Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

It is SO easy to use and create guides quickly for users of our platform. My team and I have been adding them like crazy and using them for all sorts of things to help our users. I can usually create one in just a few minutes. It looks so nice too. We can either share the link or download a pdf to share out. I also like the analytics that are provided and find them entertaining at times.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I'm not sure I have really found anything.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create guides quickly and easily without making individual screenshots, which is what I was doing.

 ### 44. Quick Startup and Easy-to-learn

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry K. | Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love the intelligence behind the systems at work. It is super simple to start making scribes. I have used it frequently as we are launching a new app that needs tutorials on how to use it. It has been seamless to implement into my daily routine.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The mobile version of scribe creation is a little cumbersome as it has you choosing screenshots which is ok but just not as easy as the web version.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to make tutorials for common or complicated tasks. It is also allowing me to create a "how to" hub for our company app that will help with limited training timeframes.

 ### 45. Scribe makes process documentation effortless and professional.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia J. | Information Technology Intern, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe automatically generates step-by-step guides with screenshots just by recording your actions. It saves a lot of time, especially when onboarding new employees or creating SOPs. The interface is intuitive, and sharing guides is seamless with teams. It's a huge productivity booster.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

The free version has some limitations in customization and branding. Occasionally, the automatic screenshots may miss a step or capture a pop-up unintentionally, requiring manual edits. More advanced editing features could improve the final output.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe solves the challenge of creating clear, consistent, and professional process documentation without spending hours on manual screenshots and writing. It streamlines the process of capturing workflows and transforms them into easy-to-follow guides in seconds. This is especially beneficial for training, onboarding, and knowledge transfer across teams. It helps reduce repetitive questions, improves productivity, and ensures that processes are standardized and accessible to everyone.

 ### 46. Scribe saved me!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen F. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

How quickly I was able to create SOP's for my team!

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

We recently switched software, and Scribe was a lifesaver! The idea of having to recreate our hand-typed manual felt overwhelming. When I saw an ad for Scribe, I signed up right away. I was able to create a page with all the how-to guides for my front desk staff, so they can easily follow step-by-step instructions for anything in our new software. I highly recommend it.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool made it easy for me to quickly train my team on our new software.

 ### 47. Scribe Makes QA Documentation Fast and Consistent

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin R. | Quality Assurance Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I love that Scribe auto-documents each step with screenshots and text, so QA evidence is consistent and auditable. Guides that took hours now take minutes

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I miss a bulk export that compiles all Scribes in one file (PDF or Word) with a table of contents. Right now I merge them manually, which adds time to closing QA evidence

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe fixes knowledge loss and outdated guides by turning real workflows into screenshot-rich SOPs. Benefit: consistent docs in minutes, fewer bounce-backs from unclear steps, and faster onboarding

 ### 48. Game changer for creating step guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daymir S. | Director of XpertCare, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

The ease of creating step guides with screen captures has allowed our organization to document our processes better. This has improved the understanding of our team on processes and allowed us to manage our documentation with ease.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I am not sure if I just haven't figured out this feature but it would be nice to create a way to insert a smaller scribes to create one end to end document. This would allow for extra time savings on processes that share the same steps and also allow for easier document management if there are changes to those processes so you can just change the specific component instead of the full end to end guide.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working within a start up it is difficult to find time to do all the things that need to be done. Scribe has saved us a ton of time when it comes to creating SOPs and it has made creating step guides so easy that we create them more often for more processes.

 ### 49. Effortless Documentation with Scribe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

I like how easy Scribe is to use, and we've been able to roll it out to all of our staff with ease. The initial setup was incredibly simple, and we were up and running within minutes. I find the screen recording feature for creating documentation particularly useful.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

I don't like that I can't use Scribe in an incognito browser, though there's a workaround with the desktop app.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding time to create documentation was tough before Scribe. It makes documentation in seconds with minimal editing needed, which is a massive help for us.

 ### 50. Business essential

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara A. | PCC Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Scribe?**

Scribe has completely transformed how we create and share process documentation across our team. What used to take hours now takes minutes, and the end result is clear, professional, and easy for anyone to follow — regardless of technical ability.

The tool automatically captures every click, keystroke, and screen as you walk through a process, and then instantly turns it into a step-by-step guide with annotated screenshots. This is incredibly helpful for onboarding new team members, creating SOPs, or sharing client-facing how-tos.

What I appreciate most is how user-friendly and time-saving it is. Even people who’ve never documented a process before can use Scribe with ease. The browser extension makes starting a new guide frictionless, and the ability to export or share via link is perfect for both internal and external use.

Scribe has become a core part of our training and knowledge management workflow. I highly recommend it to any team that values documentation, efficiency, and reducing repetitive questions.

**What do you dislike about Scribe?**

However, one downside is that Scribe doesn’t allow you to export your guides as videos or movies, which can be frustrating if you’re looking to create training content in a video format.

**What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scribe is solving the problem of time-consuming, inconsistent process documentation. Before using Scribe, creating SOPs or walkthroughs meant taking manual screenshots, writing step-by-step instructions, formatting everything, and constantly updating versions as processes changed — it was tedious and often delayed knowledge sharing.
