It takes moments to get set up and is easy to learn. The fact that it can automatically blur sensitive information in real time as each scribe guide is being created saves so much time and hassle. The ability to have other team members also create and edit within scribe, and the ability to share scribe guides both within the organization and with outside members are also both great features that allow for more seamless collaboration and simpler virtual assistance. **What do you dislike about Scribe?** I was a bit disappointed that only 10 scribe guides could be created using the basic plan, and that the blur feature is only available on scribe pro, but by the time I had approached the 10 guide limit, it was already clear that this was a program that would be well worth the price of the pro version and the features contained within. **What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are in the middle of changing processes and programs within our organization which is something that always comes with growing pains. Scribe, however, is making teaching/learning the new processes exponentially easier and will, hopefully, allow team members to more confidently be able to figure out what their next step is, without necessarily pulling other team members away from their work. This is going to be such a massive time-saver and should ensure everyone is on the same page as far as these processes go. ### 2. So you have access to a bunch of well-thought out, handy tools to, for example, edit screenshots, add tips or warnings, create pages to collect different guides etc. **What do you dislike about Scribe?** The browser extension sometimes can slow your computer down and even make Chrome crash entirely. It's so helpful to be able to complete my own work, while simultaneously creating a guide for others to follow. The breaks are not always automatically made where I would put them and a lot of space is wasted. It's easy to use, the Browser plugin is great for just going videos of the applications I want to create scribes for. It was easy to setup. I also got the desktop app and that makes is easy to create scribes for non web apps which I occasionally like to include. I've used it to create help guides for many parts of the software I need to provide training on. It has been a huge help to me and my organization AND they're constantly updating it! Now, it's much easier to track and organize steps without the manual hassle. **What do you dislike about Scribe?** When using Scribe for the first time, it's important to remember to pause the document. Otherwise, you might accidentally include incorrect steps and have to spend time cleaning them up. **What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** You no longer have to create and update processes in Word documents. With this tool, tracking and organizing steps has become much easier and requires far less manual work. It tracks everything I click, which gives me the option to edit the images and combine however many clicks in one area. This has revolutionized how I plan my day to update procedures, doing this every day would not be a problem. I needed the support of the Customer Service at the very beginning and they were very helpful and quick to respond to my questions. I used the Desktop version today for the first time, and it was so simple and quick to use. Adding Scribe to the URL was so easy, and even adding the desktop version was simple to do. **What do you dislike about Scribe?** I used the free version of Scribe to try it out, and in doing so I upgraded to Pro in the hope I can use the Pro functionality on the Scribes I created in the free basic version, but I can't, so I will have to redo them. **What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time is very valuable, and using Scribe Pro is saving all of the screenshotting, editing and typing onto Word. I am using Scribe to update these (had not done it because of the time it takes)! What took me weeks has taken me minutes!! Scribe has made it super easy for me to go through the necessary steps, capture the screen as I go, then edit the details. I love that it generates mouse movements, so I don't have to worry about searching the screen or moving too quickly or slowly. It also has a great AI voice, so I don't feel uncomfortable talking into the computer and worrying about mistakes that will need follow-up editing. What stands out for me is how flexible the export options are—you can get the output in the format you actually need instead of being stuck with one style. The redaction feature is another big plus, especially when I’m dealing with sensitive information. It’s simple to hide what shouldn’t be shared without messing up the rest of the document. Above all, it’s just easy to use. There’s no steep learning curve, which means I can get things done quickly without digging through help guides. **What do you dislike about Scribe?** No particular ideas occur to me at this time **What problems is Scribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reducing people who just “know how things are done.” If they’re away or leave, that knowledge can vanish. When I started a new position, I recommended Scribe to my current employer and they loved it as well, we ended up purchasing the pro version which was so much better than I what I expected. I love the voice transcription because sometimes I want to add more details about what I’m documenting, I also love how easy it is to open the extension and click start capturing and you’re on your way. Either make things extremely easy. We use a web-based software service that has complicated explanations to put into words... but explaining how I can click through a process, narrate it, and show the results make it extremely easy to integrate into existing processes.
