Nectar effectively supports individual recognition, allowing users to appreciate contributions in a personal way. The limitation is that it feels reactive, as it does not encourage spontaneous recognition during the workday.

I think what I like best about Nectar is for my specific position in the company, which has a lot to do with morale and gaining staff involvement, it allows me the ability to share, send and access so many of those qualities in one place. For example, I can create challenges, give feedback and award people for volunteering all in one place and easily track said information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are times on the admin side of it where certain information on peoples profile like their birthday's are hidden, and I find out after their birthday that said information was hidden. I think from an admin perspective it would be helpful to have certain criteria that the employee must allows admin to see, so company purposes. This is a very minor detail, but it has been the only performance issue I have found at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had never used Nectar before. Onboarding was very easy and intuitive. As someone who used to work in the HR field I feel that Nectar is a great affordable way to add a benefit and recognition tool all in one. I had always struggled with how to recognize employees in a way that was meaningful, affordable, and enjoyable. Nectar hits all of those boxes. The fact that you can recognize teammates easily is a plus. Being able to log in and create a recognition post with the persons name, what values they represented, and how awesome they are is so easy and saves me hours each week. Also, being able to customize the post with emojis and gifs is great as that helps add character and flair. I haven't had any issues with the software, it's been easy to use and I feel it adds value to my experience as an employee. Looking through the recognition feed makes me proud to be a part of the team and I love when I get a recognition for my hard work. The software is very fast and I haven't had any trouble with performance. I would absolutely recommend Nectar. Nectar integrates well with Teams and Outlook. I like how I can access it directly through either platform. It makes recognizing team members easy and saves me a time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of anything that I dislike about Nectar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that it's very direct way to recognize my coworkers and be recognized in return. When filling out prompts appear with information to include, such as what value they embodied, how many points to give them, and a sufficient length for the shoutout. I also like that you can add emojis and gifs to make it more light hearted. I like that we're encouraged to recognize at least one coworker a week and the incorporation of challenges. I don't know how much my company pays for nectar services, but based on what I've seen of HR's workload, it has significantly decreased. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was having an issue where the initial invite got sent to my personal email instead of my work email. Despite going through HR to change it, it reverted to my personal email as a default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have really enjoyed using Nectar! Before Nectar, we used paper “Golden Tickets” as a way for teammates to recognize and thank each other. Moving this process to Nectar has made giving shout-outs so much easier, and our team has really embraced it.
One of my favorite features is the ability to connect recognition directly to our company values. It gives us an easy, everyday way to reinforce those values while recognizing teammates for the great things they are doing.
Nectar has taken something our team already valued and made it more accessible, engaging, and fun. It’s been a great addition to our company culture! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like having to do the 2 step verification every time I try to log in on a new computer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nectar makes employee recognition easy, visible, and accessible across our organization. The platform gives employees a simple way to recognize colleagues in real time while connecting that recognition to our company values. We have also used challenges to encourage participation in wellness, culture, and engagement initiatives.
From an administrative perspective, Nectar is relatively easy to manage and flexible enough to support a growing workforce across the United States, India, and the Philippines. Employees appreciate having meaningful choices for redeeming points, and the public recognition feed helps people see contributions that might otherwise go unnoticed. The reporting and analytics could be more robust, particularly for organizations that want to evaluate participation, recognition equity, manager engagement, and trends across multiple employee populations. More flexibility in configuring reports, dashboards, challenges, and administrative workflows would make the platform even more valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like the most about Nectar is that it makes it really easy to recognise and appreciate my colleagues. It's super easy to use, and redeeming points is quick and straightforward. There are also lots of reward options to choose from, which makes it even better. I also like the challenges they make it more fun and encourage everyone to participate. I haven't really found anything to dislike so far. It's been pretty smooth to use. If I had to mention one thing, I'd say it would be nice to see even more redeem options added in the future, but overall I'm happy with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like receiving points as recognition for my work and being able to redeem them for rewards. It makes appreciation feel more meaningful and motivating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike most is that I used to have access to the U.S. rewards catalog, which had a much wider variety of stores. Now I only have the Mexico catalog, and the options are very limited, with many focused on things like video games. I would really like to have more store and gift card options available. Live, real-time notifications and posts let me see fellow colleagues sending appreciation notes and recognizing great behaviors as they happen. It’s extremely easy to use and navigate. We have it integrated into our internal SharePoint site, and it has noticeably increased both performance and the overall positive atmosphere among the teams I work with directly. I don’t really have anything negative to mention about it. From an end-user perspective, it’s been easy to access. Onboarding was quite quick once our administrator connected our emails to Nectar, and the interface is simple and straightforward to use, so I was able to start utilizing it right away. I like Nectar because it allows me to save and give points to coworkers for rewards, which is pretty handy. The points I earn can be used for cash value, which is great for saving on services, gift cards, and even vacations. I really appreciate being able to give shoutouts and points to coworkers when they've helped me out at work. Plus, setting it up was easy, which was a nice bonus. My page for rewards gets messed up on the phone but works fine on the computer. It shows the services I can use my points for at work, but I can’t click for more info on them or redeem them on the phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
