**What do you like best about Mews?**

Ease of use is insane for a system this complex. I came from zero hotel background and just figured it out. Implementation was smoother than I expected. Support actually picks up and knows what they're talking about. We use it every single day across all departments. The fact that PMS, POS and IBE all talk to each other is a game changer. And integrations just work — no IT headaches.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

Honestly not much. The menu editor in the POS has some bugs that cost you time. Translation options could be better. And occasionally updates shift things around without much warning. But nothing that makes me question the product.

**What problems is Mews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running a hotel with no hotel background. Mews made that possible. Everything is in one place, the team picked it up fast, and I can actually see what's happening in the business in real time. Less chaos, less manual work, more time to focus on the guest experience.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

We use Mews as our Property Management System, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. One of the standout aspects is the open API and the wide range of integrations, which allow us to connect different tools and platforms seamlessly. As a result, our overall operational efficiency has improved significantly.

Another major advantage is how easy Mews is to learn and use. Across all departments, including front office, housekeeping, and accounting, it has proven to be intuitive and user-friendly. The modern interface, combined with cloud-based access, keeps daily tasks smooth and efficient, while also making onboarding new team members incredibly straightforward.

Having onboarded over 50 properties to Mews, I can confidently say that implementation has been much easier compared to other platforms we’ve used. Whether it was a brand-new property, a takeover from another Mews environment, or a transition from a different PMS, the process has consistently been smooth and efficient.

Additionally, customer support has been excellent. The team is responsive, knowledgeable, and clearly committed to delivering a strong user experience.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

While we are very satisfied overall, there is still room for improvement in the multi-property functionality. Although we have seen meaningful progress in this area, further development is essential as we continue to expand and manage multiple properties.

More advanced centralized tools and streamlined controls across properties would greatly enhance efficiency and make a noticeable difference in our day-to-day operations.

Mews has become a core part of our operations by streamlining workflows, improving system connectivity, and reducing manual work across departments. Its adaptability, ease of use, and strong integration capabilities allow us to operate more efficiently while maintaining flexibility as we grow.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

I find Mews to be user-friendly and intuitive. I particularly like that it is designed around the guest rather than the room, which allows us to focus more on our guests. The process of the PMS is guest-friendly, so we don't need to spend all our time in the system.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

For me, Mews could be more individual. The name list system needs an update, but Mews is already working on that, I think. Also, the VIP categories and reporting need more space for changes. The initial setup was okay, but I wish there was more support and a deeper onboarding. In general, it was easy, but since we started from zero, it wasn't deep enough.

Mews helps us organize hotel operations efficiently, allowing us to focus on guests instead of the system. It's user-friendly, intuitive, and guest-centric, reducing the time spent on system management.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

What we like most about MEWS is its clean and intuitive interface — it’s very easy to use and requires little training. The system is highly customizable, allowing us to adapt it to our specific workflows. On top of that, it offers one of the best guest experiences on the market, with smooth and modern interactions throughout the customer journey.

What we don’t like as much is that updates are sometimes communicated at very short notice, which can make it difficult to prepare and adapt operations in time.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

The smart integrations, especially the payment integration, are a real plus. Everything runs so smoothly, and I also appreciate the many features and functions.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

Since there are so many features, it can be a bit complex to set up initially, but the support and training are excellent. The forms in the UI contain many fields, and some of them are not relevant to us. Unfortunately, there’s no way to hide those fields.

**What problems is Mews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It automates a lot of our processes and, as a result, frees up time. With our previous PMS and payments, we used to have a hassle, but with Mews that’s no longer the case. It also provides us with a complete kiosk solution, along with a housekeeping tool.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

I think the best thing about Mews is that it's really easy to handle for the team. Their support is always amazing; they're always there to help. If there's an issue or a limitation with the system, you can create a task or ask them to improve it, and they are always willing to improve. It's also interesting to see how they're integrating AI in the future. Moreover, setting up was really easy and the customer support onboarding team was great. I also like that Mews streamlined payments and made it easy for guests to pay, and that restaurant charges can be directly charged to rooms, making it really easy to collect money from guests.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

The only downside with Mews is the high payment fees for cross-border payments, particularly in Indonesia, which are quite high compared to other companies.

**What problems is Mews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mews simplifies group and individual bookings with customizable booking links and streamlines payments, making it easy for guests to pay and for us to collect, especially for room charges from the restaurant.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

I really like how Mews treats their customers. They always listen to your opinion and hear your bottlenecks, trying to help you solve them. The fact that Mews is cloud-based was also a big plus for us. The onboarding process was very easy, we had a good amount of time to train the staff with the new software, and it was well planned. I appreciate that Mews was implementing its Multi-property feature at the time, making it much easier to handle multiple properties at a chain level.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

There is always improvement potential in certain parts of the system. It would be good to improve on Mews Multi-Property and Availability Blocks. In Mews Multi-property, they could implement an easier way to copy an existing rate to another property instead of creating a new one. For Availability Blocks, there is some improvement to be made in the back end so that the block starts when check-in time starts, not at the start of the day.

**What problems is Mews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Mews for day-to-day operations like check-in and check-out and distributing rates to our website and OTAs. With Mews Multi-Property, we have a one-stop place where we can create rates/vouchers/products/rate groups etc. and then distribute them to all properties in our hotel chain. With that in mind, it is also very easy to have one place where you can edit all this on as well.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

I use Mews in my everyday work for Strawberry, and it gives me the flexibility to focus on my guests. I appreciate the user-friendliness; it's easy to use and has new features that we actually need. It's simple to roll on new employees and effortless to handle guest check-ins. Even employees familiar with tech will find it easy to learn and make valuable. I also like that Mews has a lot of connection opportunities and integrates seamlessly with our self-developed booking engine. The features Mews releases are really future-guided, setting us up well for the future in the hospitality industry.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

The group functionalities and dual rates usage. I would like to have the option to do rate mixing, so one guest can stay at BAR for one night and then on a package rate the second night without creating two reservations. On the group functionalities, it's important to have a clear picture of the total amount of guests and be more flexible with the buildup of groups.

Mews gives me the flexibility to focus on guests, integrates seamlessly with our booking engine, and is easy to use. It's easy for new employees to learn, and its features are future-focused, setting us up for success in the hospitality industry.

I appreciate Mews for being easy to use and a nice system to work with. I can do most of the setup myself, making my work easier and helping me get to know the system better. It's also great that it's easy to connect to other systems if something is missing. I like that Mews is a constantly evolving system with new features and improvements introduced regularly, which helps us stay competitive, optimize our operations, and adapt quickly to changing guest expectations. Switching to Mews provided us with a more user-friendly and accessible support, and the initial setup was straightforward, guided by a Mews consultant, where I could handle most of it myself.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

One area that could be improved is that many of the new features come at an additional cost. While the continuous development is valuable, it can sometimes make it challenging to take full advantage of new innovations without increasing overall expenses.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

I find Mews incredibly useful for managing all of our reservations and rates, which is significant for driving revenue. It's fantastic that it connects with so many distribution systems, enhancing our network and helping us earn more room revenue. Mews is the most comprehensive and easiest system to use for integrating with distribution systems, thanks to their ever-expanding Mews marketplace, which always offers something new. I really enjoy the Mews community where I can engage with other users, staff, and product managers working on enhancements. Plus, their convention in Amsterdam, which I attended, was great. The setup process was easy with a product manager guiding us, and everything was done online, involving many different teams worldwide.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

With the management landscape constantly evolving, especially with many new AI tools coming online, having messaging integrated into Mews would be a great enhancement. This has been a pain point as many people contact hotels via different platforms. An omnichannel integrated into Mews would be quite beneficial, and we are looking forward to that feature.

Mews helps us manage reservations and rates, and enhances our distribution network, driving revenue. It's comprehensive and easy to use, integrating well with distribution systems. The Mews marketplace offers new distribution points, and they continually update it.

I really like how simple and intuitive the Mews interface is and the fact that it stands out from other PMSs I have used so far because it has a very modern approach. Furthermore, having used it for a year, I have seen that many features that were not initially available have been made accessible to their users for free, without additional costs.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

Perhaps the part related to quotes could be improved with little effort. Allowing the possibility to send quotes that can be easily confirmed by the guest through credit card entry would solve the problem of working with external quote providers.

There is honestly very little to criticize. If anything, our only wish is that some of the exciting new features and improvements Mews has planned would be rolled out sooner—they simply cannot come fast enough.

There ist still no reasonable way to split invoices, such as room nights, in Mews. Room moves for in-house guests are still handled as new reseevations; others do this better.

Mews tackles most problems quickly and with a focus on finding solutions, and usually comes up with a suitable solution in no time.

I find Mews super intuitive and easy to use. It contains many automations, which makes the process easier. I also like that Mews offers multi-property support and many things are done automatically, which had to be done manually in the old system.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

There are occasional uncertainties that one has to explain to oneself, and sometimes it takes longer with support, but everyone is very helpful. During onboarding, you have someone to guide you, but the real questions come afterwards, and we felt a bit left alone then.

Mews is our reservation system for bookings and payments, super intuitive, easy to use with many automations. It supports multi-property and enables automations that were manual in the old system.

What we like most is how easy it is to handle and how great the possibility is to integrate other products. The automations help us every day to reduce manual effort and have more time for our guests - without annoying administrative effort.

It was difficult at first to integrate external payments into the process, which are important for us but do not have a high priority for MEWS.

The automation of many processes greatly facilitates our work processes. The automated payments, the self-check-in kiosk, the online check-in, and the automated emails to guests are great. Additionally, I can finally create and offer as many rates as I want.

Some small things could be simplified even more, e.g., the address transfer from connected persons, which works for guests at the kiosk but not for employees at the PC.

Mews simplifies our workflows, especially with bookings and their billing. We have also integrated the MEWS POS and the MEWS RMS.

What we like most about Mews is that it is very easy to use and employees can be easily defined. And there is integration with many third-party providers.

Most things work very well at Mews. However, it would be good if the search bar could be better controlled, and if one could switch better between commands and duplicates.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

MEWS is a one stop PMS system, easy to navigate and most of your needs are available. Additionally, the customer support are very active.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

When an invoice is issued it will not show in the billing tab and you have to reopen it as a bill.

**What problems is Mews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hotel Management System, it help us manage the day to day guest experience.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

Mews Systems is a very young progressive company that wants to challenge the status quo.
They are dynamic progress thinkers and their system has a unique concept of the ultimate integration tool.
This helps them to create an ecosphere where you can find and connect any additional tool, just like constructing with LEGO.
Mews has a very easy-to-learn and intuitive design which helps with the quick training of new employees (a characteristic of the Hospitality sector).
Cloud-based and robust, Mews has active storage backup that is crucial for times of outages.
Your data is secure and always available if any issues occur, Mews will revert to its backup storage and be up and running within minutes.
Nevertheless, Mews are dedicated to customer support and keen on building an informed community.
Engagement with them is different as they operate like any other Tech company and are always listening to the needs of their partners.
Always willing to develop, get better, more complex and more secure.

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

Mews was initially launched as a solution for Hostels and smaller brands or hotels.
It is now in its development for bigger chains and is going through exponential development.
It will take some time before the system is fully ready to perform for bigger chains, mainly around complex payment options for guests and partners with credit.
However, the current developments and roadmap look quite promising.

**What problems is Mews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mews has been extremely beneficial as it is quick to deploy and has great value for expanding and scaling businesses.
It's open API makes it easy to collaborate with peripheral softwares (such as Housekeeping for example) that are not even on their Marketplace.
This brings a lot of value to Mews and it's partners as allows for full flexibility.
Mews has definitely brought value in the guest experience and the way we train our teams.
It's core belief of full automation of processes has given the opportunity for staff to stop staring at their screens and go thorugh multiple clicks until their eyes tear up while checking customers in. 
Reservations and customer management at the Front Desk is easy and swift.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

The most useful feature in my opinion is exporting data that is needed in excel format. 
This feature was especially useful during COVID-19-related lockdowns when I and my team had to contact all our upcoming visitors across various locations and inform them about their options (cancellation, credit offers, refunds, reimbursements, etc.) within very tight time constraints. This posed a serious issue as gathering all the necessary information manually would have taken an unacceptable amount of time. This was evidently extremely important for our staff and management, as customer care is of utmost importance at wombat's City Hostels. 
Another wonderful core feature, that was beyond necessary for my team (Reservations Agents) was the ability to manage multiple MEWS profiles for different accommodation locations (in our case it was 5-6 properties: Vienna, Budapest, London, Munich and Venice).

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

In my experience, there were a few mishaps, such as MEWS not loading a given property profile, mix-up of the room order, timeline descending into chaos, due to some coding issue, and so on. However, I am no stranger to such situations and it was certainly met with understanding on our part, each time. 
The main issue at each separate instance was the lack of communication on part of the MEWS support staff. It took way too long to get a hold of anyone and even then the support we received was sub-par at best.

**What problems is Mews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timeline issues are definitely getting fixed as we speak. The MEWS Timeline is a useful tool that helps visualize the hostel/hotel by rooms/beds/facilities and allows you to instantly recognize their status (to be checked-in, checked-in; to be checked-out, checked out; clean; dirty; out of order etc.) 
When I first started my position it was possible to determine just some of the above mentioned, but as time went by you could tell more and more just by looking at the timeline view, with the help of the color categorization, and new symbols that distinguished the reservations even further.

**What do you like best about Mews?**

Easy to use, Great interface, Links to all Booking channels, and have the ability to take payments.  The university is a great trainig tool and the fact all staff have to complete is great. they are very responsive on messageing

**What do you dislike about Mews?**

They require government documents to set up taxes in different countries, We have a bit of a delay setting up Cambodia as the tax is not very clear. But eventually they accepted the documents we could find

**Recommendations to others considering Mews:**

If you are looking for a great cloud PMS Mews fits the bill. Great reporting and ease of use

**What problems is Mews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling all bookings, Check-in , Generating reports to see how the business is runnign. We can also link to our other systems and equipment required to check-in guests smoohtly

I like that it does'nt require much training to use the basic functionalities.

It misses a few features, for example there is no option for reopening closed bliss and merge them into one bill.

Its a very cost effective and easy to use solution for small scale hotels. It its easily understandable and user friendly.

Its made the check-in and the check-out process very smooth and quick, without requiring to go much into details, all necessary information is displayed on the main page.
