What I dislike about Egnyte is that it can feel a little clunky and slower than it should at times—especially when you’re dealing with large folders, lots of files, or syncing. The desktop sync can be confusing (and it’s not always obvious what’s truly synced vs. just online), which can create version issues if someone isn’t careful. Search is usually decent, but it’s not always consistent, and permissions can get complicated to manage as the folder structure grows. Egnyte has truly been a lifesaver for our company. Although we have always used a VPN, accessing it from different locations was often a challenge. Since switching to Egnyte, that issue has been completely resolved. After the pandemic, most of us have been working remotely, either from home or while traveling, with team members based in Connecticut, Virginia, Florida, and Oklahoma, as well as our sales and marketing staff on the road across the country. No matter where we are, we can always rely on having secure, consistent, and dependable access to our files. Since switching to Egnyte, the only problem we've encountered is that, from time to time, we need to reinstall the desktop client. Egnyte as file management system is capable for connectivity to all modern vendors both sharepoint and data storages and represents full scale modern content management system. We are on the way to complete implementation but the core limits are that some ransom features are already included in Defender capabilities however Egnyte can provide awesome tool to protect personal lap tops of our engineers. The only downfall to Egnyte is they isn't much ability to do bulk actions on Egnyte without being a developer and use of their API keys. I wish they had more built-in or native features to do bulk actions on Egnyte. Also, I wish they allowed you to get more custom with the user permission roles. This last update has moved the menu to an unfamiliar location and it has been hard for us to find the actions we normally use, such as sending secure upload links for secure client document sharing. Perhaps you already provide this, but if we could have a chat box where we can ask things like 'Where can I find the Secure Upload link icon?' that would be helpful. I have a minor annoyance with Egnyte where I have to reauthorize it after a browser system update. This issue seems to arise because Egnyte might be primarily designed for PCs, while I use a Mac.
