3Play Media Reviews & Provider Details

The best aspect of 3Play Media is that it is very precise in captions and transcripts regardless of complex or technical content. It also has easy integrations with other popular video platforms that simplify the workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The negative aspect of 3Play Media that I would not like is that the services are relatively costly to small businesses or individuals. Turnaround times can also be different according to the service level that one chooses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Efficiency. 3 Play media is very efficient regarding turnaround times and the accuracy of the transcriptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No real downsides. The pros outweigh any cons and the cons are not worth mentioning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It saves all the account information and links directly to our YouTube channel (where I first upload the videos) so getting videos in the queue to be captioned is extremely easy and efficient. Turnaround time is quick as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't really dislike anything about 3Play Media. It does a lot more things that we will ever need it to, so I suppose we can say that we don't use the full potential of the service so it is hard to commend on anything else other than captioning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

3Play Media makes it easy to order transcriptions, and edit as necessary. I appreciate that you can download transcriptions in various formats and that you are not charged extra for adding specific instructions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The pricing is higher than I thought it would be, and if you're transcribing a lot of material -- or longer form videos on a shorter timeframe, the prices can really add up. Additionally, only the account owner can see invoices, which makes it slightly difficult for other team members to track spending. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We continually send videos for captioning that we don't have time or workforce to complete in a timely fashion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quick turnaround, usually at 98-99% accuracy. The ease of use of the website is a great help and the ability to get the output in a variety of formats has come in handy more than once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We had last minute notice that a student with a hearing impairment needed and was going to use a video in his presentation. Of course the video that he located was not captioned. 3Play was able to caption it and with short turn around it was in the student's email well before his presentation. Customer Service at 3Play is responsive, efficient, and helpful. They will guide you through the process and are ready to jump in if something becomes confusing. I appreciate the fact that the customer has many different options for uploading videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quick response turn around time. Typically, I can have my work captioned in a week or less, and I appreciate that they provide an expedited option for those times when we're working against tight deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find it inconvenient when videos are archived after a certain period. For instance, we previously added closed captions in English to a series of videos. A few years later, when we had the resources to add Spanish subtitles to the same videos, the process of unarchiving and making these changes proved to be challenging. I had to engage 3play customer support to assist in this task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

3Play Media has a simple and intuitive interface and dashboard(s). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I encourage 3Play Media to one day do better integration with learning management systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of the user interface to submit orders, the quick turnaround times and the ability to rush requests. I really like how I am notified about everything in the account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is nothing that we dislike about 3Play Media. But we do wish the French translation would be cheaper outside of machine translations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The variety of services is the best. Within a big business there are a diverse population of global employees. To have a large amount of offerings at a low price brings a lot of value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish 3 Play had more instructions and user facing material to guide a user through the service 3 Play offers. When creating videos or subtitles, going over the various types of downloadable file types and their use cases for newer users needing captions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
