"Quality Localization for our Creative Project"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Alconost?

Alconost's translator was creative, intelligent, and thorough. It was clear that he cared about the quality of his work, and was willing to go the extra mile to make sure our jokes, references, and story points landed with our new audience. Their services fit our budget and were delivered within a reasonable timeframe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Alconost?

I found the program we used to communicate slightly confusing, but it was only a minor inconvenience. We worked in drastically different timezones, which likely contributed to some difficulty in communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Working with Alconost in translating our app for macOS called Duplicate File Finder"

5/5

What do you like best about Alconost?

The service and communication was great. They always were clarifying some technical points to make the translation max correct for the users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Alconost?

We can’t mention any cons. Generally we’re satisfied with the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Alconost:

If you’re working with a software like Nektony, we recommend creating an additional document with clarifying technical moments so that the translator can understand the context of the text. Also, we recommend making video calls before the work to introduce the apps and answer any possible questions about the software. Before translating Duplicate File Finder, we worked with Alconost in translating App Cleaner & Uninstaller and MacCleaner Pro, and with the tech documents and vocabulary, the process is much easier and faster for the translators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Alconost solving and how is that benefiting you?

Alconost helped us to translate the Duplicate File Finder application for a Mac in different languages when we started the process of its localization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Alconost?

Alconost supports a lot of languages, even if they don't have a specific one for your needs, they will find it. Managers can help you create a glossary for your content, perform LQA, and give you some useful tips to achieve the best quality and complete the project quickly.

I like the qualifications of the translators they work with. They are native speakers and are happy to help if you need extended explanations or synonyms, or if you have some issues with character limits.

Great LSP for small and big projects with native speakers. If you are tight with deadlines they can offer a second or third translator to complete the project on time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
