And I'm very happy with the solution. I regularly have to get video content captioned in English and translated into five core languages of German, French, Spanish, Russian and Polish. The portal is pretty straightforward to use once you've completed a project or two and if you have a query 3Play has a good support team. It is quick and easy to align a script (if you have one) to a video file and then order the translations with a choice of having one or two translators to look at your file. Once everything is completed it is quick and easy to download closed captions or create files with open captions. The ability to make any small tweaks yourself is also a big bonus for me. We have also linked our 3Play account to our Brightcove video hosting platform, so if we want, we can have captions go live automatically on published videos. **What do you like best about 3Play Media?** The easy-to-use portal and the range of languages you can get for translations - as well as my core languages, I've used it for traditional Chinese, Ukrainian and Portuguese. It is quick and in my view very cost-effective for what I need. **What do you dislike about 3Play Media?** There is very little to dislike really. There was a minor facelift about a year ago that made it slightly less intuitive to upload a file, but once you did it once it was pretty straightforward. **What problems is 3Play Media solving and how is that benefiting you?** Speed and cost! I can get captions for a video file really quickly either by aligning a script or getting a transcript. I also can get translations for my videos at a decent cost, especially compared to some other translation agencies I've used. We've been very happy with 3play's work over the last seven years. **What do you like best about 3Play Media?** Captions are consistently top-notch, customer service is responsive, and the website is structured well for admins and uploaders alike. **What do you dislike about 3Play Media?** Over the past year they've had some growing pains, and occasionally transcriptions will be delivered late. However, this comprises a very small fraction of the thousands of transcripts we've sent their way over the years. **What problems is 3Play Media solving and how is that benefiting you?** Especially back when we joined up in 2014, not many captioning services could provide verbatim transcriptions at a price point that worked for our small production department at the volume we needed. Price-wise, they have more competition these days, but we've been very happy with the overall product.
