Snowflake is the most powerful data tool right now . It's not limited to data warehouse now . With the current ai capabilities specially cortex like cortex analyst ,cortex agents , ai sql functions this is now an end to end platform for all data things . I think they are shipping a lot of ai features which are great but still need fine tuning and improvements on that . Sometimes they hallucinate and gets a little frustrating . Running workloads on snowflake has been straightforward for us, with a simple setup and an overall smooth workflow. I'm able to keep our data secure without a lot of extra efforts, also the integrations and buit in features have felt reliable and consistent in day to day use. The SQL support is real advantage and it cuts down on operational effort since we don't have to manage infrastructure ourselves or worry about ongoing maintenance. I’m in Snowflake almost everyday for reporting work. Its been stable for me and doesn’t freeze, even when I’m working with large datasets. Writing queries feels straightforward and I rarely need much support to get things done. We also use it with looker and google sheeta, depending on who needs the data and how they prefer to access it. The option to scale compute up during heavier workloads and then scale it back down afterwards is helpful. I also appreciate not having to worry about infrastructure or ongoing maintenance. At first the cost tracking isn't very clear, so it's easy to overspend especially if queries keep running in the background without you noticing, that said the interface itself is straightforward and once you're in its easy to navigate and find what you need. Realmente depende de cómo las personas escriban las consultas; las consultas mal escritas pueden ralentizar las cosas y aumentar los costos.
