What I appreciate most about Procreate is how naturally it mimics drawing on paper. The Apple pencil feels smooth and responsive. Custom brush imports offer great flexibility, and the time-lapse feature has been especially helpful for reviewing my process and steadily improving my techniques over time. I love the simple and easy to use interface. It makes drawings and design 100 times easier. The brush selection rivals photoshop. I love that it's not subscription based and does most if not all of what Photoshop does. You pay one small fee and it's yours for life. It can be a little daunting to a first time user nonetheless, there is a lot of help to get you creating. It is therefore important to note that gaining mastery of this tool would most likely take some time and practice as it is a sophisticated tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The tool is incredibly flexible, allowing for a wide variety of illustration styles utlizing realistic and responsive brushes. Built-in animation is an added bonus, and the cherry on top is that you pay once and never, ever have to give them another cent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, there isn't much I don't love about the app. If I had to be picky, some of the pencil brushes could be smoother on it. And if they could add a vector brush like Adobe Fresco, that would take it to the next level for sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
