# Do you use Procreate to develop vector artwork? If so what is your workflow like for that?

I often hand letter in Procreate then export my art as an image, bring it into Illustrator, and livetrace it to create vector art. Is anyone else using it this way or in a way that is better? Let me know!

Unfortunately, Procreate is a pixel-based app, so it's not possible to create vector art within it. Anytime I've needed something vectorized, I usually do what you do and live-trace it. The results are hit or miss, though, especially for more intricate work. Inside Illustrator, there is actually an Image Trace dialog box you can open under Window>Image Trace.
