The headspace member portal is really simple to navigate and I feel like they offer fair pricing that makes it easy for us to provide this benefit to our team. The team members who use it love it and even if it's there in stressful moments or someone uses it for their kids/family it's an awesome value-add to our benefits package. What do you dislike about Headspace?

The annual subscription model can make it tricky to add/remove users throughout the year-- we haven't had too much of an issue with it but I could see it being a problem if you have more staff/turnover. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoy using this-- in the world of Office Management and all the tools and products pitched at you-- headspace actually delivers on it's promises and I appreciate I'm not harassed constantly to add more. "Good way to start the day"

What do you like best about Headspace?

Easy access on my work laptop with Single sign on so I didn't need to set up an account. Helpful to always have the headspace tab opened so I can do a meditation exercise if I'm stressed at work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing I would like more of is perhaps a phone call introduction with my contact to go over all the things that headspace admin has to offer. I also wasn't aware of the imperfect circle when we signed the contract and am so excited that there is a group for all admins to share and learn from each other. What do you like best about Headspace?

For me, what I use the most are the meditations and the move sections - though my team seems to like sleep the most! Outside of the app functionality itself, we are seeing great benefits just from the fact that we have brought Headspace for Work into the company. The people that are using the app get a direct benefit, of course, but we see just as much of a positive response from the people that haven't signed up. Bringing in the program has allowed us to talk directly about the importance of looking after our physical and mental well-being, and looking out for our fellow humans in the same way. This has created a supportive, collaborative, light-hearted and fun work culture that is extremely productive in a seemingly effortless way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Headspace?

I am most ambivalent about some of the gamification features. While I understand the importance of these to create user engagement - and they are very effective and end up drawing me in despite my ambivalence! - I feel that many of these "engagement tricks" are not particularly in line with the mental muscles we're trying to train in the meditation courses. This does of course create an interesting personal challenge as it makes me aware of my mostly internalised competitive nature, which is interesting to observe.

In terms of HeadSpace for Work, I would really like to see some functionality that can create a shared experience for our team - an option to schedule a group meditation slot, just for our own team, for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Headspace:

The investment is minimal when viewed in terms of HR benefits - increased productivity, less conflict, less sick leave, and in general a much happier workforce and therefore a happier workplace. Don't think about it for too long, just try it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Headspace solving and how is that benefiting you?

Startups can be filled with all manner of uncertainties - hopes, dreams, disillusions and disasters are all part of the story, not just for the founders, but also for the team members that courageously sign up for the ride. With a 7-year history, we are moving away from our startup origins towards being a "grown-up" company, but we are still conscious of the importance of recognising each individual's uniqueness and providing an environment that can support that person to flourish, in the same way that, collectively, all our individuals are supporting our company's flourishing.

Even the team members that haven't signed up to the Headspace program are more engaged, bought in, and generally happier - we expect this is a direct result of letting them know that they matter to us, as a person, not just as a resource. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Headspace?

We provided this as a perk to our employees during the Covid lockdowns, as a way to handle stress and mental health issues. It's easy to use, and easy to log into. Great UX / UI and a really friendly feel. Instructors that are pleasant and interesting to listen to. No religious / spiritual content, which is a good thing for a business / corporate atmosphere where that wouldn't be appropriate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Headspace?

It can be a little hard to know how to access everything inside of the app. When I did certain courses, I had to search for them anew each time instead of them showing up automatically for me to continue. However, that changed in the last couple of months: now I see them as an option for my daily meditations. There is a ton of material within the app, it can feel a little overwhelming sometimes. This subscription helped our employees with stress management, and gave them somewhere to go with feelings of overwhelm and anxiety. What i love about Headspace for Work is that I can visualize the statistics of the team and see what topics they are more interested in so we can prepare recommendations and activities focused on that. I don't think there are any downsides to this App. What is a little bit uncomfortable is the process to enroll new employees and acquire new seats. I think is not as fast as we want and if we pay for adding new seats in June, they charge us an annual feed even though it will be available only for 6 months. "Love the Headspace app"

What do you like best about Headspace?

I love using 'One Minute - 5 Deep Breaths' and 'Sleep music' before going to sleep. These gave me a sense of calmness and helped me to fall asleep quickly and have a great sleep. My other favourite module is 'Meditate'. I enjoy having a 3-minute meditation session on 'Feeling Overwhelmed or Burned Out' during the day. It is also a privilege for me to be able to work with 4 Headspace account managers and to be able to see how the modules and sessions on the Headspace app have developed over the past 3 years. It has been a pleasure to work with Manon when organizing a four-week PwC Headspace Meditation challenge that was completed on 22 October 2021. What do you like best about Headspace?
