What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?

GoToWebinar is easy to use, even settings can be accessed very easily especially when we are using external speakers or/and microphones which make it super user-friendly. Just tap on the link shared by the organizers which will navigate to the ongoing session screen without even installing software as it supports the Web version very well. It has a lot of available to arrange an event or training sessions, for example, ability to share your screen, switches control among different presenters, videos, launch polls during webinar sessions and surveys, share documents, automatic uploads to video library which is easily accessible for future use, question/answer part, gauge audience engagement with the help of analytics, upload notes and images during the ongoing session with the help of interactive whiteboard, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?

Rather than dislike, I would say some missing features which can be added as enhancements or improvements because those features are available on other similar platforms in the market.

1. GoToWebinar mobile application should work well even on low bandwidth and switching between broadband(WIFI) to mobile data should be smooth.

2. To record the ongoing session there should prompt from the platform end as other platform does have this feature.

3. It would be good to have a virtual screen during the ongoing session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoTo Webinar solving and how is that benefiting you?

The most likable feature is intuitive UI and super user-friendly. Installation and setup are very easy along with limitless access. Especially the "Raise hand" option is great to ask questions during ongoing sessions seamlessly. The availability of the GoToWebinar mobile application with the same set of features won my heart. No matter on which platform I am attending the session everywhere just in one click all feature is accessible that is why a non-technical user can also use it without any hiccup. Most of the software supports analytics, so does GoToWebinar also supports it. But GoToWebinar has additional access like filtering analytics, viewing different reports, reports generation based on selected analytics and exporting data. "The worst platform you can go with"

What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?

Backend is easy to manage webinars for organizers. Pulling reports is fairly simple Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?

GoToWebinar is the most basic webinar tool that offers nothing more than any other tool. Customer support is impossible to reach and is completely outsourced. When you do get a hold of them, they are never any help.

Example of this: None of my speakers had the option to turn on their webcam. I had no idea why and submitted a support ticket. They had to escalate the ticket 3 times until I realized it was an option the account administrator had to turn on, so I had to solve my own ticket. When trying to upgrade a license, it took two weeks to hear back.

I am at a point where I anticipate that at least one of my speakers will run into an issue that is no fault of their own. Most recently, their microphones will not work. The microphone will be listed, but nothing will come out. Other times they can't view the screenshare, or they have trouble joining at all.

I have had several registrants tell me they will not attend a webinar of ours until we switch our platform, since it gave them so much trouble.

We have several webinars a week, meaning this platform has issues constantly.

The virtual backgrounds do not work most of the time, as it has poor human detection and will sometimes cover up the individual. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?

The biggest upside for using GoTo Webinar is the lack of issues our audiences run into when joining and/or attending our events. It's easy to use and doesn't require that anyone downloads an application to enter meetings/webinars. With other platforms, folks are instructed to download a program which may not be an acceptable method of participating in e-learning when they have strict firewalls or internet policies at their workplaces. Additionally, other platforms constantly run into compatibility issues when they do allow for access via browser, when browsers are updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?

There aren't as many integrations as other platforms, but I think that may be what makes it consistently work! For instance, you can't embed streams on your website or video sharing platforms without third-party solutions, whereas you can easily achieve that with others. Easy to send invitation, send reminders right up to the hour before start time

Switch presenters

Record presentations - that can be later referenced

I haven't found anything that I dislike. I have used this platform a number of times and am still finding new features all the time. Iniitailly thougt that all participants needed to be muted but found out that this feature can be unmuted allowing for a group discussion. Recommended only if there is a small audience. What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?

GoTo Webinar is one of the best and fastest tools to host corporate webinars. Creating a webinar is extremely simple and the customization options are great. GoTo Webinar also integrates seamlessly with CRM tools like HubSpot where webinar registrants and attendees can be synced.
