“Simple, Reliable Travel Booking with Great Support and Automation”
What do you like best about Perk (formerly TravelPerk)?

A great solution for businesses. I love how simple and user-friendly the travel booking process is. We are mostly using the integration with our HR system and our finance reporting tools. The 24/7 support is reliable, and the concierge service is especially helpful with specific requests. I know I can always count on them. Perk also offers plenty of automation features that streamline the overall workflow and save time. Although Perk is a relatively expensive solution, I believe the speed and reliability it offers make it well worth the investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Perk (formerly TravelPerk)?

There aren’t many downsides. Of course, we occasionally find that some destinations don’t offer as wide a selection of accommodation as other booking platforms. It’s also a shame that bus travel cannot be booked, at least within Europe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Perk (formerly TravelPerk) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Perk, we handled everything manually. From arranging travel insurance to booking flights and accommodation. Since our plans are constantly changing, we also had to deal with frequent cancellations and rebookings. It was an enormous waste of time, money, and energy, and we often struggled to process employees’ travel requests on time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Efficient, All-in-One Content Hub”
What do you like best about Travelport+?

What I like most is how it brings everything together—NDC, traditional fares, and low-cost carriers—all in one place on a single screen. The interface makes it easy to switch between command entries and the graphical tools, so I don’t have to keep jumping across multiple tabs. That streamlined setup makes booking complex itineraries and ancillaries noticeably faster and simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Travelport+?

The biggest headache is the learning curve, along with the occasional lag when working with NDC (New Distribution Capability) content. While having NDC, LCCs, and traditional fares all in one place sounds great in theory, the system can become noticeably sluggish or throw unexpected errors when you’re trying to modify or ticket an NDC booking, especially compared with a standard EDIFACT segment.

The move from older Smartpoint versions to the newer Travelport+ platform also comes with its fair share of glitches. At times, the graphical interface doesn’t sync cleanly with cryptic commands, which forces you to fall back on manual entries to correct an issue or push through a ticket change. It’s a powerful tool overall, but it still takes a lot of patience when the newer tech stack runs into the realities of legacy GDS architecture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Travelport+ solving and how is that benefiting you?

Travelport+ solves content fragmentation by bringing NDC, traditional EDIFACT, and low-cost carrier fares together in a single screen.

This benefits me by saving time, since it eliminates the need to jump between different airline websites and juggle multiple browser tabs just to compare prices. It also simplifies ancillariesby making it much easier to view and sell baggage, seats, and other extras using graphical tools instead of relying on complex cryptic codes. Finally, it blends workflowswell: I can keep using fast keyboard commands for speed, while still having modern visual tools available for more complex tasks. “Safari Portal Streamlines the Entire Client Journey with Excellent Support”
What do you like best about Safari Portal?

What I like most about Safari Portal is how it brings the entire client journey into one clear, organised system. I can create personalised Lookbooks and itineraries, collect essential travel details through forms, manage bookings, and give each client their own Travel Dashboard. It makes complex, tailor-made travel much easier to plan, organise, and present, while giving clients a single place to find everything related to their trip.

The onboarding is patient, flexible, and thorough. It can take time to understand everything the platform can do, but your onboarding specialist stays with you and helps you find the best way to use it for your own business.

The support is excellent. My contact person is always ready to help, and if they are unavailable, I can message the support team and, just like that, an answer arrives.

The AI-powered Magic Import is a genuine timesaver, and I look forward to seeing how the upcoming updates make the platform even more useful. I also appreciate the 30-minute update sessions. They are practical, packed with relevant information and, best of all, they actually finish on time.

I have not yet explored the integrations in depth, but that is something I am looking forward to doing. So far, the system’s performance has been consistently smooth, with no delays or hiccups.

Rachel and her team genuinely understand travel designers and the realities of our work. That combination of strong technology and personal support is what makes Safari Portal stand out for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Safari Portal?

So far, I have not encountered anything significant that I dislike about Safari Portal itself. The only limitation I have noticed relates to the third-party translation service available through the platform, which sometimes requires manual corrections in Finnish. This is not Safari Portal’s own translation technology, and their support team is always responsive when I flag an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Safari Portal solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an independent travel producer, I need to manage many moving parts without losing sight of the individual client. Safari Portal solves the problem of fragmented information by bringing client details, inspiration, proposals, itineraries, bookings and travel documents into one system.

This reduces repetitive manual work, saves time and lowers the risk of important details being missed. It also gives me a clear overview of each journey from the first enquiry to the client’s return home.

For my clients, the Travel Dashboard provides one reliable place to find their itinerary, documents, messages and other essential information. For me, this means I can spend less time managing administration and more time designing thoughtful, tailor-made journeys while maintaining the personal service my clients expect. “Reliable, Powerful Real-Time Booking with Amadeus”
What do you like best about Amadeus?

What I like best about Amadeus is how reliable and powerful it is once you get used to it. It gives you real-time access to flights, fares, availability, and rules, which makes planning and booking much faster and more accurate. I also like that it offers multiple options in one place, so you can easily compare routes, prices, and schedules without switching systems.

Another big plus is its flexibility. You can handle complex itineraries, changes, reissues, and special requests smoothly, which is especially helpful when dealing with customers who need quick solutions. Overall, Amadeus feels like a solid, professional tool you can trust during busy days—it may have a learning curve, but once mastered, it really improves efficiency and confidence in your work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amadeus?

What I dislike about Amadeus is that it can feel quite complex and overwhelming, especially for new users. The commands take time to learn and remember, and small mistakes can easily lead to errors, which can be frustrating during busy hours.

The interface also feels a bit outdated compared to newer, more user-friendly systems. Some processes, like exchanges or refunds, can be time-consuming and require multiple steps. At times, the system response can be slow, which adds pressure when you’re handling customers in real time. Overall, it’s a very powerful tool, but it could be more intuitive and faster to work with Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amadeus solving and how is that benefiting you?

Amadeus solves the problem of managing complex travel bookings by bringing everything into one centralized system. Instead of checking multiple platforms for flight availability, fares, rules, and booking management, everything is available in one place and in real time. This reduces confusion and the risk of errors, especially when handling detailed or multi-sector itineraries.

For me, this means faster decision-making and better service for customers. I can quickly compare options, make changes, handle reissues or cancellations, and provide accurate information without delays. Overall, Amadeus helps streamline daily work, saves time, and increases confidence when dealing with customers, even during high-pressure situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Excellent customer service with quick turnaround, suited for international operations.”
What do you like best about Corporate Traveler?

What we find most helpful about Corporate Traveler is the excellent customer support and the prompt responsiveness to our needs. Having a dedicated team—including a Senior Customer Success Manager, a Manager, and outstanding travel agents—has genuinely elevated the travel experience for staff across our organization. We feel well cared for, with practical solutions offered when issues come up and clear answers provided to our questions and concerns.

Our experience during the implementation and launch of the platform was smooth, and we consistently felt supported throughout the process. We also appreciate the timely communication around updates and changes, which helps us stay informed and confident in the service.

In addition, the invoice process has improved, making our billing workflow much easier. Having an internal folder for the previous week has been especially helpful for keeping everything organized and easy to reference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Corporate Traveler?

One invoice-related aspect that still needs improvement is ensuring that all invoices include the corresponding codes we require to track our expenses internally. We also need to investigate why some tickets are charged as a whole amount rather than showing a breakdown between airfare costs and fees, which is necessary for our accounting purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Corporate Traveler solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were looking for a travel partner that better fits the needs of our global organization, with colleagues based in multiple countries and time zones who often need immediate support. Corporate Traveler provides both dedicated travel agents and the option to self-book through the Melon platform, which has noticeably improved our staff’s overall travel experience. Having the flexibility to get help via chat or directly through our dedicated agents has made the entire process smoother, faster, and more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“mtrip Continues to Amaze with Essential Duty of Care Features”
What do you like best about mTrip?

We selected mtrip after looking at several similar products, and after a few years of using it, it still continues to amaze us. Having a tool that gives our customers easy access to our agency right in their pocket is great, but the ability to geolocate them and alert them in case of incidents at their destination (duty of care) is essential. What do you dislike about Ezus?

The suggestions from the PowerPoint integration are sometimes a bit too limited and don’t offer enough design options. This has recently been resolved by the HTML option, which we will start testing now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ezus solving and how is that benefiting you?

The first thing they solved for us is that the entire funnel from preliminary proposal to booking used to take a lot of time. With Ezus, this process is much more efficient.
