Zype's services are also offered to our company at a great price. After I learned the interface, I am able to rapidly update our TV show's assets and these reflect in near-real time. It's also been a stable platform in that I don't recall any downtime or outage with the apps/OTTs. I have also appreciated that my questions were answered within a reasonable timeframe when I had to contact Support. **What do you dislike about Zype?** The only issue we've had is the connection/syncing between the Zype publishing platform and our Vimeo Pro account which holds our original media assets and which feeds into our Zype library. On a few occasions, uploads to our Vimeo Pro account were not automatically ingested into our Zype library, so I had to request a 'manual sync' from the Zype support team, which would always be done within one business day maximum. On a very minor note, sometimes the published Zype assets only show up in our live apps a few hours after submission, but usually they show up in under 30 minutes, it's a rapid platform. **What problems is Zype solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need apps and OTT platforms to distribute our TV show on, and Zype allows us to publish our content to the main ones. ### 2. We often ask questions that lead to new features. Our Zype team is eager to find ways to meet our particular use-case. Few days ago, they got charged me for 500$. I thought It some kind of mistake, and send them a message that I have canceled it before, and demand chargeback. I recieved the answer that they have canceled my subsription, but I still can use it for 1 month. After is asked how much will it take to make a refund, they told me that they wont make and same answer: "we have canceled your subsription" Just Wonder, is this a normal thing to charged your customer when they already canceled the subsription, and after realised that you messed up to refuse give money back? And even after, I said that I wont use your service, and I dont want to pay for it. I have the right to get my money back in a 14 days term,why should I pay for it? Awfull support that answering only after you send 2-3 messages. The customization for cataloging and customer service has been outstanding. **What do you dislike about Zype?** I do appreciate from a business perspective why Zype will not deliver to all platforms as that is not the core of their business; however, it would be a nice guarantee if they were my permanent CDN to all platforms. Change does not have to be hard. Zype is more cost effective than other companies and offers more products & services. We were able to self-publish to Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, iOS, and Android apps (and will still expand to other platforms) without much trouble and we've found their support team to be super-knowledgeable, helpful, and prompt. The company continues to improve, offer more to their clients, and they stay in touch with their clients consistently even after they've signed them up. **What do you dislike about Zype?** For us, we haven't come across any downsides yet, and don't really expect to. Any time I have a suggestion to improve their software interface, I submit the suggestion and believe that it's taken into consideration seriously. **What problems is Zype solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Zype, we were able to more easily and much more cost effectively, solve our problem of wanting to expand our Outdoor Action TV to many additional platforms as well as address Live Streaming issues that we were having -- with Zype, we've expanded to many more new viewers, and our Live Streaming is so much easier and seamless to each platform. ### 26. Everyone that we have dealt with after signing our contract has been an absolute pleasure to work with - knowledgable, helpful, patient. It is clear that listening is a core company value at Zype. **What do you dislike about Zype?** It was clear that after signing our contract with Zype that the business development team was more focused on (and probably more incentivized financially) by closing deals expediently rather than clarity of presentation of product. I'm hopeful that they have addressed this problem and were very open to my feedback when I brought it to their attention. **Recommendations to others considering Zype:** Ask a lot of questions up front regarding the need for additional development. They've been great about adding functionality along the way, so be sure to speak up about additional features during build and after launch. They are always looking for ways to improve and are great listeners, two terrific qualities. **What problems is Zype solving and how is that benefiting you?** Zype has allowed us to solve or at least begin to address several issues. In this rapidly changing SVOD marketplace, there are no guarantees with companies like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. We are able to not only guarantee our films a home, but are also able to build a direct relationship with our viewers, build a new revenue stream and potentially build an avenue through which to build our overall business.
