## XposedOrNot Reviews
  ### 1. A Smarter Way to Monitor Data Breaches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Senthil K. | IT Head, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2024

**What do you like best about XposedOrNot?**

I love how XposedOrNot makes protecting our data so simple and effective from ATO. The alerts are timely, and the CXO dashboard gives a clear picture of breach trends and risks. It’s more than just a tool—it’s like having a personal assistant for your security, helping you understand and manage threats before they become serious issues.

**What do you dislike about XposedOrNot?**

If I had to nitpick, I’d say it could use more options to connect with other tools we use, like advanced security platforms. But honestly, with the Slack, Splunk and Teams integration already in place, it’s doing a great job.

**What problems is XposedOrNot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

XposedOrNot helps us keep an eye on potential breaches and risks, whether it’s exposed emails or passwords. It gives us the tools we need to take quick action and prevent bigger problems down the road. The privacy features and open API are just the cherry on top—making it easy to stay in control of our digital safety.

  ### 2. Indispensable for monitoring the exposure of one's personal data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel M. | Administrateur SOC, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2024

**What do you like best about XposedOrNot?**

What I like most about ExposedOrNot is its real-time dashboard that allows you to monitor the security status of our data at a glance. Email alerts, as well as integration with Slack and Teams, are very practical features for being immediately informed in case of a breach. Moreover, the dashboard presents various important data, such as the history of violations and potential exposure, which helps to better understand and manage the security of our information. Finally, it is a rather promising product that offers effective solutions for data protection, which is essential in today's digital landscape.

**What do you dislike about XposedOrNot?**

The only small drawback is that you need to validate the domain to access the dashboard, and this validation is only available for 24 hours. However, this is not really a disadvantage, as this step adds an extra layer of security to ensure that only legitimate owners have access to sensitive data. Once this step is validated, access to the dashboard and its features is very smooth.

**What problems is XposedOrNot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ExposedOrNot primarily solves the problem of data breaches by quickly detecting if sensitive information has been compromised. This allows me to react immediately by taking the necessary measures to limit the damage. By constantly monitoring my data, ExposedOrNot helps prevent attacks before they become more serious, while giving me full control over the management of compromised information.

  ### 3. A more reliable and scalable alternative to HaveIBeenPwned

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bertold K. | Principal Quality Engineer, Computer & Network Security, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2024

**What do you like best about XposedOrNot?**

I have been working with XposedOrNot from the early days. My experience could not have been better. The service scales well, performs well under high load and it has a large set of breach data dating back to several years.

**What do you dislike about XposedOrNot?**

The service is still evolving so there may be changes that you need to prepare for. Some parts of the service are not formalized yet: for example, OpenAPI specification would be nice to have.

**What problems is XposedOrNot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To faciliate risk assessment, we use XposedOrNot's service to see if an email address has been involved in a data breach.
