It's easy to understand and easy to show others how to work with it and has a number of very cool features for the commissions team and sales reps to use for conveying/receiving data. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** I like most of Xactly Incent. However my biggest gripe with it are the cosmetic changes and different updates made to make it look nicer. However this to me makes it a little harder to work with as the system doesn't always seem to want to work exactly the way you want it to. From when I started using it about 2 1/2 year ago it's gone under unnecessary cosmetic changes that don't really enhance at least my experience (someone who works on the back end of using it) and only would for someone with the viewing capability of a sales rep. **What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?** It provides my team an opportunity to convey sales data accurately and consolidated to our company. It's very easy to use and learn, and honestly teach to someone. Long-term gain, but not a short-term win **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Kaleb C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023 **What do you like best about Xactly?** Xactly gives us to the power to show our sales and commercial staff the precise list of contracts and amounts counting toward their goals and KPIs. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** The system doesn't feel like it's caught up to most enterprise softwares. For example, the system lacks key features that allow business to quickly and easily scale such as global search or the ability to drill between objects in the system. The system also operates under an archaic view that most businessed operate under a monthly candece; being required to group all of your data into individual months is tedious and increases the cost of maintance. Xactly also suffers from an inconsisent UI/UX like the lack of sticky search across all objects, or even lack of consistency in being able to search for something as basic as a person's name is avaible in some objects but not in others. Xactly also does not allow you to rename anything, which makes it challenging to create new configuration when you may not be able to streamline your naming cadence when creating something new. Literally, it is an environment where i can access the zoning experts any time of the night without the huge consultancy fees. In addition to that I can generate sophisticated reports, which are likely to impress the senior leaders. AlignStar allows me to adjust the balance of work that each zip code carries, and it is as easy as clicking and dragging the territories. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** Beginners would find it easy to grasp, but senior players want more details. Being honest, this would obviously take up more of a budget for smaller organizations, though. This was slow, glitches occurred often as a platform feature, and I could barely complete the map for full design which was a direct ESRI ArcGIS textbook. **What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?** AlignStar is a great innovation for the purpose of alignment of territories for convoluted schemes. I save time, it helps me to make data-informed choices, and, dear me, it even lets me be a hero with the fancy reports. Moreover, a fly on the wall approach could be too expensive for some, while the training resources could be more helpful. In conclusion, it is a good tool, albeit not free of its idiosyncrasies. ### 8. I also like that I can drill down to confirm accuracy and check commission rates. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** I am not an admin of this platform at my company, so I'm not sure if this is xactly's fault or our fault, but it takes the entirety of Q1 every year, for every commission-earning role for xactly to be set up properly. Admin friendly UI, fantastic support, and easy to use and setup commission system **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Kristina P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023 **What do you like best about Xactly?** One of my favorite things about Incent is the consistent improvements that are being made to enhance the admin and end user experience. They are consistently looking for and implementing feedback from customers. The layout of the system and resources such as Xactly University and the Community Portal makes training new commission analysts easier. **What do you dislike about Xactly?** The only downside is the inability to version formulas and credit rules, making plan updates more complicated by removing and adding rules to plans. We can not utilize person-based analytic reports for all of our employees because of how we assign positions and the 3 year limitation. **What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reducing the amount of manual work that we need to do to calculate and pay commissions on a monthly basis. Once you learn it all, though, it is very useful!
