## Workstream Reviews
 ### 1. Streamlined Recruitment, Limited Scheduling Flexibility

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** huang c. | HR & Operations Supervisor, Logistics and Supply Chain, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

I appreciate how Workstream unifies hiring, onboarding, and workforce management into one simple, logistics-friendly platform built for teams like ours with shift-based, deskless staff in supply chain and warehouse operations. The standout feature for me is its automated candidate communication and interview scheduling. It sends text reminders to applicants, which has drastically cut down interview no-shows, making our hiring process much faster and more reliable. The digital onboarding tools are incredibly useful as new hires can complete all forms, compliance documents, and training remotely on their phones. This ensures they start on day one fully prepared without piles of paperwork. It's impressive how Workstream effectively addresses the unique pain points of shift-based logistics teams with simple, powerful, and mobile-friendly features.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

First, the customization options for shift scheduling templates are somewhat limited. We run rotating shifts across warehouse and logistics operations with varying weekend and holiday coverage, and the system doesn’t allow for fully flexible, repeatable templates that match our complex rosters. This means we still spend extra time manually adjusting schedules each week. Second, the reporting and analytics dashboard offers useful insights but lacks industry-specific metrics for logistics, such as turnover rates for shift workers, time-to-fill for warehouse roles, and labor cost per shift. Exporting data can also be slow when pulling large sets of employee or hiring information.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workstream to centralize hiring, onboarding, and workforce management, automating candidate outreach and scheduling, reducing no-shows, and speeding hiring. It handles digital onboarding and compliance, saving us from juggling spreadsheets and paperwork, and ensures labor compliance by automating timekeeping and scheduling.

 ### 2. Streamlined Hiring with Powerful SMS Automation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Furcron H. | IT Systems Specialist, Investment Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

I like how Workstream automates the entire hourly hiring workflow around SMS texting. It enables us to handle everything from job postings to applicant screening, interview scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups all in one unified dashboard. This means we don't have to jump between emails, spreadsheets, job boards, and calendars, which cuts out almost all of the repetitive busywork and lets us respond to candidates quickly. The automated screening questions that go out by text and the one-click interview scheduling with automated SMS reminders are features we rely on heavily. I also found the initial setup of Workstream to be surprisingly quick and straightforward compared to other HR and recruiting tools we've implemented.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

We've also had occasional issues with delayed SMS delivery during high-volume hiring pushes. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it can throw off interview timing and candidate experience. More reliability during peak times would be helpful. First, more powerful and customizable reporting would be a top priority. Right now, we only get basic metrics, but we need to track things like time-to-hire by location, candidate drop-off at each stage, source ROI, and recruiter performance. Being able to build custom dashboards, save filtered views, and export clean CSV/Excel reports would help us spot bottlenecks and prove the tool's value to leadership. Second, more flexible workflow automation would save us even more time. We want to set up advanced conditional logic—like different screening paths, automated rejection rules, or location-specific triggers—without needing support to set it up. A more visual, drag-and-drop workflow builder would make this accessible for non-technical managers.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstream speeds up our hiring funnel, centralizes candidate management, and automates interview scheduling and reminders, reducing our time-to-hire and keeping candidate communication consistent and organized.

 ### 3. I recommend Workstream to others trying to simplify onboarding and employee file maintenance!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaime L. | Director of HR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

I love that it is streamlined and we can reach candidates easily (no more using email or work phones to communicate.) The digital onboarding process is a dream, so much better than paper files & so easy to use. I use Workstream every day in my HR role and if I have any issues, their customer support team is very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

There are a few features that I have requested to be updated to be more user friendly and more relevant in our business. Still waiting on those improvements. For example, I can't hire someone that has an application that was archived (automatically by the system), they have to reapply completely and start the process again.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more paper HR files! I'm able to see all applicants and employees for multiple locations, making it easier and more time effective for my role.

 ### 4. Streamlines Payroll and Recruitment with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul O. | Co-Founder and CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

I truly appreciate Workstream's robust recruiting platform, as it has alleviated any concerns about continuously finding employees, which is a critical aspect of my business. The platform’s ability to broadcast job positions across multiple hiring sites significantly simplifies the recruiting process. I also admire how Workstream seamlessly streamlines payroll operations by automatically integrating new hires into the payroll system, making the management of employee timecards straightforward and efficient. This functionality avoids the cumbersome manual matching process, saving significant time and reducing human error. Furthermore, Workstream's dedicated support team made the daunting task of transitioning over 200 employees' payrolls manageable, providing assistance every step of the way, even helping with live calls during the initial payroll run. I also find their ability to listen and respond to client needs commendable, especially when they have designed features specifically to address my requirements, providing a tailored experience. This level of customization and support enhances the platform's value immensely.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

I find the changes to the Workstream platform to be a challenge. Although these changes are communicated well, the updates can disrupt the reliability I am looking for. I appreciate the improvements, but I look for consistent reliability over time to ensure smooth operations.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workstream to streamline payroll and recruiting, reducing time on manual data entry. It simplifies matching timecards and broadcasting job positions, making onboarding seamless and payroll processes efficient with automated reporting.

 ### 5. Human Resources

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany O. | Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Integration is easy to use and keep up with as we grow.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

It seems like it wants to make all employees "autopay". Which honestly I don't know if that is a workstream or Alliance HCM issue. But autopay just means that the payroll system wants to automatically pay the employees 80 hours.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to use Workstream for Onboarding and for applicant tracking but when we swapped to Alliance HCM it just came with them so we only use ATS. The onboarding worked really well the main issue we had was the ADP integration. I think it was an ADP issue not a workstream issue.

 ### 6. Workstream Recruiting, Core HR and Payroll has streamlined our recruiting and pay process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsey W. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

I think Workstream is extremely easy to use and less expensive for the functionality. I use Workstream to recruit, manage HR and pay employees at three Tropical Smoothie Cafe's. I like how easy it is to create job postings, recruit and communicate with prospective candidates, hire and onboard. When I have had any challenges, their tech support is quick to respond and resolve problems.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

Sometimes there are challenges with Recruiting transferring data to payroll. I believe that this process could be improved.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I did not want to use multiple systems for HR, Payroll, Onboarding and Candidate Management. I also wanted to be able to pay hourly employees once a week to improve employee satisfaction. I really like the fact that there is a flat fee per headcount regardless of whether you pay them weekly or bi-weekly. That was what initially attracted me to the platform. I have been very pleased with being able to manage easily candidates, hiring, interviewing, onboarding and finally paying employees. I have really enjoyed working with their team. They are all professional and very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

It would be helpful to require the business to update policy manuals as they change and to have set questions for new hires who haven't ever had a job before.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been using WorkStream for a while now, and frankly, it's revolutionized our recruitment efforts. The platform truly streamlines the entire hiring process, cutting down on administrative burden and freeing up our team to focus on what matters. We've seen a significant improvement in our ability to source high-quality talent, reaching candidates we might have otherwise missed. Beyond just finding great people, WorkStream has been invaluable for maintaining compliance, providing peace of mind in a complex regulatory landscape. And let's not forget how much easier scheduling interviews has become – it's intuitive and saves so much time. If you're looking to optimize your hiring, WorkStream is an exceptional solution.

 ### 8. Workstream is the trusted HR system!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie L. | Operations Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

We have been using Workstream as our Interviewing & Onboarding system since December 2021. At the time, this HR system was used by very few Chick-fil-A restaurants and now it is the preferred system for our company. I love all the features it provides, including the e-signature feature. That saves so much time! I like how easy it is to set up interview availability, as well as communicate easily with candidates. We are grateful to have chosen Workstream and highly recommend it!

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

I would say the least helpful thing about Workstream was that it was not linked to our internal HR/ Payroll system originally, but now it is and it saves so much time automatically syncing new hires into our system.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstream controls our candidate sourcing, so it saves us time with recruiting. It automatically loads users into our internal system which is great because it saves us from manually inserting all the information. I also like how each team member has a profile where we can easily upload documents to their account for organization of files.

This platform has become a staple in our office's daily work-flow.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

There is not much to dislike about Workstream. My only compliant is that our corporate has not allowed for integrations with our Outlook accounts and proprietary software.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our industry hiring is a constant need for multiple roles. The interview scheduling ability has been a game changer, eliminating time spent in phone-tag scenarios with applicants. As well as the digital onboarding ability has saved countless office hours and ware on our machines, not to mention trees.

Flexibility and options in features for setting up onboarding are perfect. Every time I needed to contact customer service they were efficient and knowledgeable. Makes the process of applying to onboarding so much easier.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

It can be glitchy sometimes but their support staff are very quick to respond and help

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstream simplifies payroll and onboarding. New applicants are automatically contacted, making us one of the first to reach out for interviews.

 ### 12. The best Applicant Tracking Software Ever!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad H. | Director of Talent and Culture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Workstream has made my life so easy. I do the hiring for two different Chick-fil-A restaurant and Workstream allows me to keep things running. It's a once place for a candidates application, scheduling of interviews, and onboarding which saves me so much time! Their customer support is incredibly responsive and fixes issues in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

My biggest issues is that the set up of website is a little clunky and hard to navigate. There can be some issues where the system goes down but Workstream normally is pretty responsive to fix the issue quickly.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have recently added a feature that integrates part of our internal software and saves our team a step. They have been very helpful in rolling out integrations that have continued to save time for me.

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

The ease of viewing applicants, setting interview times, and managing the application process. Very user friendly application for both me and the applicants to use. We were able to switch from our old provider to this in one day, and implement it quickly with out missing applicants applying. They have a great support staff that is quick to respond to your needs. Most of the time in under 2 minutes. I use this every day to view applicants, see what I have set up for interviews. Overall the system is very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

There is nothing I dislike about workstream.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently I have had no issues with Worksteam, but if I do, their team will resolve it quickly.

 ### 14. Workstream For HR and Payroll

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor S. | Owner\Ceo of a Little Caesars, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Their customer service is top notch and tech support is super fast if any issues arise.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

Have had some glitchy minor issues, user not being able to log into the employee app, or one user having something glitchy in their profile. all minor and taken care of very quickly once a a ticket was opened

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem it solves for me as a small restaurant owner is the amount of talent it attracts for my job postings. I literally had 100 applicants within a 2 day period for a QSR style restaurant. It helps me communicate directly with applicants while keeping my info private. Onboarding is a breeze and payroll is even easier.

 ### 15. Customer service is outstanding!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

The hiring and onboarding new team members—is super simple and straightforward. What really stands out, though, is their customer service. Anytime I’ve had a question, the chat support has been incredibly fast and polite. It just makes everything feel easier.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

What I like least is that the initial setup for job postings can be pretty time-consuming—especially if you’re hiring for multiple positions. It takes a while to get everything customized the way you want. Also, if you need to make updates, you have to go into each individual posting to apply the changes, which can be a bit tedious.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstream is helping simplify and streamline our hiring process, which saves me a ton of time. Everything from reviewing applicants to onboarding is all in one place, and it’s easy to use. It takes a lot of the back-and-forth out of hiring and helps me stay organized and efficient.

I have not found anything I dislike about workstream!

The ability to have multiple people on the team who is able to see the progress of where a candidate is at any point of the process. As someone who is wearing multiple hats this has been amazing to check quickly on my team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob B. | HR Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

The interview availability is wonderful. It solved many headaches with scheduling interviews on top of everything else I have to do in HR. I love the reports that it generates as well.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

Whenever creating interview availabilities it automatically opts for recurring. Which I can see is fine for others in the HR field, but as for someone who's schedule is different every week. I don't like the auto recurring feature.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have no feedback here.

 ### 29. User friendly with great customer service.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Workstream's customer service far exceeds expectations. They have a team of friendly support staff consistently available to walk through any feature or help troubleshoot issues. The site is user friendly and the set up is fairly simple.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

There are a lot of features, but some could be more dynamic with options.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining our applicant tracking, recruiting, and onboarding process.

 ### 32. Workstream for the WIN!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helen Q. | People Culture Strategist , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

In fast food having a candidate friendly recruitment process is absolutely necessary. Workstream makes it so that the process of applying and being hired is as seemless and easy as posible. The customer service and support is unmatched compared to other vendors that we use. We spend as little as 3 hours a week following up on the system and use it daily. It's simply integrated into our payroll system and the implemenation and set up were well communicated.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

In workstream it's not easy to see at a glance if every position is filled in our restaurants. I would love to see a feature where you can set the staff levels and work towards filling them. This will help the in operations teams have a better handle on recruitment and staffing needs.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstream posts on all job boards so we don't need to be positing and managing job boards and they keep the flow coming in.

 ### 33. Best HR Tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley R. | HR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

WorkStream is very user friendly. Customer service is great! They have tons of options for sending documents out, onboarding surveys and exit surveys. Workstream has been awesome to work with and has been a total game changer in finding new applicants. They have made it very easy! I use workstream every day and Id have to say its made my job so much easier. We had to swith over from a different software and workstream made it very easy to transition over.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

Sometimes I get forget how to change things around. I would have to say they have switched things up on me once or twice and i was lost as to how i should figure out how to work the new settings. But workstream has been pretty user friendly and is pretty easy to figure out. I am not computer savvy and I feel like I have not had many problems when it comes to running Workstream.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping everything in one spot has been a blessing! We were using multiple programs and now we have moved pretty much everything into one spot and its been awesome.

 ### 34. Streamlines the Application Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew M. | General Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Workstream made the application and interview process a breeze. We transitioned from away from applications that were coming in from all over the place, and were able to have everything in one centralized location that made it easy to collect applications. It also took the burden away from me of reaching out to candidates and scheduling interviews, and allows them to schedule a meeting time that works for them.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

My schedule is not the same every week, so I do have to remember to go into Workstream and make the adjustments every week. Applicants also sometimes treat it as a bot that is on the other end, and so don't always take into consideration that there is a person they are interacting with.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WWorkstream allows me to take the hassle out of applications and interviews. I don't have to worry about taking time out of my day to schedule interviews anymore.

 ### 35. Payroll Module Not Currently Functional for a Scaling Business

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Workstream has a clean and simple interface.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

The integration of the payroll and hiring modules is very confusing. The payroll module lacks ability to functionally connect or export GL payroll data to our ERP. Our experience with customer support was hit or miss - only able to be accessed via chat is not a great access level for such a mission critical business operation like payroll.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstream's hiring feature is capable for our needs.

 ### 36. Exceptional Service and Constantly Evolving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica M. | Human Resources Generalist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

We've been using Workstream for about a year and a half now, and we're thoroughly impressed. The customer service is exceptional—responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. The platform itself is fantastic; it simplifies our onboarding process and has saved my team so much time. What we appreciate most is how they're constantly evolving to stay ahead of the competition. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

We currently don't have any dislikes. The team works to make adjustments for any issues we have.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform has significantly cut down manual work on the HR end. We used to spend hours running background checks and tracking them and Workstream does all of that automatically.

 ### 37. Efficient and User Friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naomi H. | Branch Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Workstream has allowed our company to stream line our hiring and onboarding processes with their automation features! Customer Support is always ready to help and solve issues quickly.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

Overall we love the product but it can be a costly service.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstreams automated features for scheduling interviews and interview reminders has greatly increase the number of candiates we in-person interview. Additionally, the ability to completely dizitalize our onboarding process has saved our company hundreds of working hours.

 ### 38. Workstream has been a lifesaver

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin W. | Operations Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Workstream has been a lifesaver in hard to staff markets. Our Managment team loves the ease of use of the hiring and onboarding aspects of the software. Customer Support has been phenemonal and we look forward to great success in the future.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

Nothing. We have had no downsides with the software.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding has been a great addition. But the core solution this solves is being able to be connected with applicants quickly

 ### 39. Helpful when hiring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca D. | Director of Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

I like that it fairly easy ties into most hiring platforms and that the chat support is surprising helpful

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

I do wish there were easier options to update papers on my end

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gets us in as many applicants faces as possible with using 1 base platform

 ### 40. Excellent Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randall M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

A little expensive but overall its a great service

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstream is helping me complete I9s and onboarding,

 ### 41. A Workstream Review for streamlining hiring processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

The best feature of Workstream is the crisp and agile method for hiring processes. It organizes and streamlines repetitive tasks, such as posting job ads and scheduling interviews, saving me time and effort from doing these tasks manually. It is user friendly, and I did not need to spend a lot of time on the tool to learn how to use it, implement, or maximise its full potential.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

The feature that I think can be improved in Workstream is the reporting and analytics feature. This can be a bit more robust, as it lacks the depth of insights needed for comprehensive recruitment analysis.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstream’s applicant tracking system has improved our hiring process, making it more efficient and timebound. It has the capabiltiy to manage bulk applications by centralizing candidate data. This enables me to quickly filter and review applicants for shortlisting. We have also saved a lot of time from tasks that we would have done manually, such as scheduling interviews and sending personalized emails to applicants. This has helped us improve our response rate significantly, which gives the candidates a positive impression of the company.

In terms of onboarding, Workstream has the capability of adding solid structure to the process, resulting in a more efficient and professional onboarding process for new hires. It ensures that new hires are equipped with the right tools and training after their assuption of duty.

 ### 42. Workstream has been great for us to use in Hiring and Onboarding new employees!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Having one spot to post job openings, hire and onboard employees is amazing. Workstream has made our job so much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

There is not anything I can think of right now that I dislike about Workstream.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having job postings, scheduling for interviews, hiring and onboarding all in one easy to use place makes the hiring process easier and more efficient.

 ### 43. Efficient and Streamlined Scheduling and Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Workstream allows me to quickly coordinate recruitment, interview scheduling, and onboarding paperwork across multiple divisions and companies of our large organization. A real time-saver!

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

There are a few small bugs in the onboarding software that, if resolved, would make their product even better. Hopefully this happens soon in a future update.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring and onboarding.

 ### 44. Workstream has helped make the hiring process easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roshan P. | Owner/Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

How easy its been to get employee info. Also enjoy how simple it is to post jobs

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

Provide some help on boosting jobs so that its no so expensive on employer side

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping solve uploading employee info quicker

 ### 45. Great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Great support for the company's ever evolving needs. They are always trying to get better and are very open to feedback.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

Communication on changes can sometimes be lagging

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a more effective HR related system

 ### 46. Best way to hire...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Misty G. | Maintenance Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Workstream has made our company hiring issues disappear. Workstream created room to grow and gain knowledge of faster solutions to our hiring problems. To any of its competitors, there is just no match that has this simplified the way they do.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

Workstream has made hiring for our large company so much easier, and we have had such an increase in employment. I would not change one thing about this platform and its usage.

**Recommendations to others considering Workstream:**

Workstream helps you to realize what you are lacking in this world of terrible employment records. We have turned our hiring around in the best possible direction. It has made hiring for 52 different and spread-out locations so much simplier. I could never have done this without the help of WorkStream.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have benefited as a company by using workstream. We went from the lowest employment we had ever seen in over ten years to gaining employment at a rapid pace. Workstream makes the hiring forms go so much faster, and you gain knowledge each time you use it.

 ### 47. Great to communicate with candidates!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alina Z. | Healthcare Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

My favorite feature with Workstream is the possibility to customize the steps and questions of the recruiting and onboarding process, as well as the ease of sending texts and emails to candidates.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

In the search bar if you put a name and by mistake add a space afer the name you will not get any results. This happens often when you c/p paste names and I would say that's a bug, it should be fixed.
I would like to have an option to receive only some notifications for a certain position in a location and not others, it can be done but you have to understand the tool very well and set everything this way from the very begining.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The communication with candidates becomes fast and easy, great integration with job boards, onboarding steps are customizable, added automatizations save you a lot of time.

 ### 48. Best applicant tracking system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier P. | D, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

Applicants get connected via SMS right on their smartphone so they are engaged all the way through the process.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

I don't dislike anything so far. It’s great to have the support team tackle new suggestions when brought to their attention.

**Recommendations to others considering Workstream:**

It is important to have an applicant tracking system that allows the company and applicant to be engaged immediately through the process and the ideal scenario in my opinion is right in their smartphones so it can be done in timely manner.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working on a better interface for super admin, It’s ideal for each site manager.

 ### 49. Great Ability to Customize Processes but Many Issues with Job Ads Not Showing Up On Indeed

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Package/Freight Delivery | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

We have many steps within our hiring process and Workstream allows us the ability to customize the steps for the various locations. It's simple for both users and applicants to use.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

Horrible service from trying to resolve the issues with getting our various job ads to flow through to Indeed. We have 4 locations and only one is consistently working with ads showing up on Indeed. This is greatly impacting our hiring and makes me wish that I hadn't turned off our other ATS that we transitioned from. Workstream points at Indeed as the problem and Indeed points at Workstream as the problem so that nothing is getting resolved.

**Recommendations to others considering Workstream:**

Have a good benchmark for what level of applicants you were anticipating to come in via the ATS recruiting boards. Stay on top of the ads to ensure that they are showing up on the Job Search boards in the way you expect your candidates to search for the ads, as well as the placement of where your ads hit in comparison to competing job ads. Set up templates for each of the stages so that it's easy to copy/paste. Remember to save if you edit an email and then go back in and save again if you are editing an SMS.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) Easier workflow of a complicated hiring process with multiple steps. 2) Better tracking of metrics for various steps within the hiring process. 3) Easier automated contact to relay repeated information to applicants minimizing recruiters' time on the phone.

 ### 50. One Stop Place for Hiring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebekah R. | District Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Workstream?**

I like that Workstream is a One stop place for both applicants and Businesses. Workstream can track the hiring process from start to finish and will pull applications from several platforms.

**What do you dislike about Workstream?**

I don't really have any complaints from Workstream. It seems more difficult to get higher level applications then entry level.

**Recommendations to others considering Workstream:**

Take time in setting up the positions you are looking for and be specific as possible. This helps in finding the right person and the right fit.

**What problems is Workstream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workstream is helping us bring in applications that were not walking through the door. Covid-19 made a huge impact on hiring as well as the amount of applicants coming in person. This has allowed us to pull, interview remotely and begin hiring to fill our gaps and to build our bench during times that are very challenging. The system is easy to learn and navigate.
