"Simple and Good Software for Low-Poly Modelling!!!"
What do you like best about Wings 3D?

Wings 3D is a good software for 3D Modelling because it is free for users, which is excellent; you do not have to pay a single penny to explore the software. It has almost all the tools and features for low-poly modeling. Also, you can do detailed work on it by sculpting, which is excellent for modelers. The best part is it provides library for 3D models which helps us to create stuffs. It provides almost every quality like Uv unwrapping, materials, shaders, texture mapping, lighting, etc. It's pretty straightforward in modeling; you can do almost everything to make your model look great like every other software does. Wings 3D supports nearly every file type for exporting and importing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wings 3D?

Wings 3D will be a little complicated for those who are newbie's. I also took little time to understand the UI and other stuff, but that's ok. As a 3D artist, there must be a simplistic way for UV mappings like others software like 3ds Max or Maya. I felt minor complications while doing UV mapping. Also, it does not provide 3D animation, 3D rendering, etc. kinds of stuff that make people use other software. I think they should improve this stuff in future updates. People will love to use Wings 3D as their primary software to create 3D Models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, user-friendly software for low poly modeling"
What do you like best about Wings 3D?

Wings3D is the best software I have found for getting into the "low-poly" style of 3D modeling for animation and game development. It's surface modeling tools are straightforward, it's texture mapping capabilities are more than enough for hobby game projects, and it exports in all of the standard file types. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wings 3D?

If you are unfamiliar with 3D modeling in general, wings3D will have a bit of a learning curve to get used to. Additionally, it's UV mapping system is not as intuitive as other programs such as Maya. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful Subdivision Modeller for Beginners"
What do you like best about Wings 3D?

The application provides all of the basic tools like scale, move, rotate, cut, weld, extrude, bevel, and bridge. It also provides advanced tools like plane cut, intersect, inset, bend, sweep, circularize, and sheer. The software comes with a virtual mirror that makes symmetrical modeling a breeze. It also provides tweaking and sculpting capabilities to allow users even more detailed modeling. There are also a very notable number of supported 3D file formats to help get you going especially for combining with other 3D workflows. It's designed for modelers who know what they want and know how to get there. Like Blender it takes a while to really get to know your way around; but once you get there, there's flat out nothing to touch it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wings 3D?

There is no support in Wings for animation. However Wings does bear a lot of similarities and is very comparable to Blender as a very legitimate piece of Freeware for 3D artists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
