I love the ease of use that WellyBox provides, especially for such a complicated service. It’s incredibly simple to connect various platforms like emails and WhatsApp, which streamlines my accounting tasks remarkably. I found it challenging that there isn't a subscription option that allows for one-time use, which would have been particularly valuable when I started as a solopreneur. WellyBox could be more accommodating by offering more flexible subscription models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate WellyBox for its ability to process my receipts directly from my Gmail account. I find WellyBox to be very slow, so slow that it hinders my efficiency when processing receipts. Additionally, the platform's slowdown discourages me from integrating it with other tools or software, as it seems that there hasn't been much investment into improving the service over time (I have been with them for years and each year around tax time, I kick myself for staying but it's always too late to move elsewhere). For example, they appear to have lost partnerships with Xero, i.e. no more users can be added from Wellybox. This lack of progress, slow performance, and lack of integration make me feel I can't recommend it to others. It's just not good enough in 2025. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Depending on your use cases, it's nice that you can connect directly from WhatsApp - if your business involves you're moving around in the field and buying things adhoc etc.

I also have positive sentiments overall for WellyBox b/c it was really one of the first of its kind when I was desperate for a solution, and I always try to help local businesses, which WellyBox is for me :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At the end of the day:

- a one-time service, like retro retrieval isn't available (at least not via self service) - but rather you're routed to simply pay for a more expensive tier.

- AI hasn't reached WellyBox yet, and the current capabilities for maintaining categorisation and overall organization in the app is really elementary

- As a startup "born" in Israel, I had really hoped it would connect out-of-the-box with my accounting software (one of the few that we're allowed to use here), but it does not - it only connects to a single one of the approved platforms in Israel Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's such a simple but very powerful tool. It scans your inbox and finds out 99,999999% of tax invoices in your mail inboxes connected to Welly Box. I don't have to waste my time by browsing my emails where my tax invoices are. Then you can categorize them, add a label or create a folder and share it with your accountant. Simple!
