I like the amount of details we can have with Wasp Asset, allowing us to archive and record when we purchase equipment and track how old the equipment is. It also helps us assess how much technology infrastructure we have in every location. The system is easy and straightforward because instead of manually writing down equipment, we use a scanning tool to add devices to the system, keeping our inventory up to date. It's probably got more features than we need, really. Sometimes it's easy to miss a filter that's been applied and be confused by why something isn't showing after a search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customization functions are great - they allow me to use the software to function best for my organization's uses (which are quite niche). There are some features I'm unable to customize unfortunately, but I would say 85% of the customizable functions solve the base programs functionality for us. Sometimes the program "freezes" and I am unable to proceed or load any pages further - it seems the program becomes unresponsive at times. However, this is usually solved by reloading the portal in Incognito mode. It's just frustrating in instances where I lost the work I had done, and need to redo the entries I made.

There are further customization options I wish were present.

Custom report software is difficult to catch onto and Wasp doesn't provide a whole lot of support on this aside from paying for additional custom reporting work. I wish this was more user friendly, and allowed for manipulation of data tables more closely to how Excel functions - where users typically have more experience in use. Wasp Asset is a great organizational tool. Everything you've entered is easy to find and organize, and you have the freedom to input as much or as little as you'd like for your assets. I do not enjoy the scanner we purchased. It would be better if it didn’t require internet access and could simply be attached to the computer. Our work site has limited WiFi, and using this scanner has not worked out. As a result, we now have to type every item into the computer in order to check it out to a customer or employee. Wasp allows you to create your asset any way you'd like, its personal to you. You are able to name the asset, describe it in your own words. Also, you make all the decisions on the assets and locations. it's a great tracking sysytem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish that when you're checking out the tools or assets you could put them all in a queue and check them out to the customer all at once instead of having to do it after every tool. the price of the program pays itself off in the first use. there is always someone to help you figure out any issues.
