I recently created an online magazine using Visme, and I’m really happy with the result. What I like:

I also rely on Visme alongside other tools like iSpring and Canva, but Visme's versatility as a 'Swiss army knife' for multiple functions makes it an indispensable part of my toolkit. I found the initial setup with Visme quite confusing as the layouts and menus required some understanding. The menus were sometimes difficult to find, which made it challenging at first. Additionally, while the embed codes using Javascript work well in most applications, they don't function on the Canvas LMS platform due to its security features that remove Javascript. At the moment they can only accommodate for portrait, work it will beneficial if Visme also allows for a landscape feature. In some respects the system handles interactive elements in a rather clumsy manner. For example, if you create a video slideshow by setting each video as a slide background the system preview switches seamlessly between slides, without hesitation or 'hiccup'. However, when that same slideshow is either exported as video or embedded as a project on a website, the switch between slides becomes clumsy and hesitant.
