**What do you like best about Vendavo?**

Vendavo provides a very solid framework for managing complex B2B pricing structures. Its analytics capabilities, especially through Profit Analyzer, are excellent for identifying margin leakage and understanding pricing performance by product, customer segment, or region.
Pricepoint allows centralized price governance, approval workflows, and scenario simulations that really help align our commercial team with our pricing strategy. Once properly configured, the system offers a single source of truth for price and discount management, and integrates reliably with our ERP.

**What do you dislike about Vendavo?**

The main challenge is the complexity of implementation and customization. It requires significant configuration to fit company-specific rules, and ongoing dependency on consultants can be costly.
The user interface, while improving, is still not very intuitive for non-technical users, and initial training is definitely required. Performance can slow down with large datasets, and integration with some legacy systems wasn’t straightforward.

**What problems is Vendavo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vendavo helps us bring structure and transparency to our pricing process across multiple regions and business units.
Before implementing Vendavo, our pricing decisions were often manual and inconsistent, leading to margin leakage and long approval times. With Vendavo Pricepoint and Profit Analyzer, we now have a centralized system to define, simulate, and approve prices with clear governance and data-driven insights.

The solution integrates with our SAP ERP, so prices and discounts are synchronized automatically, reducing errors and improving quote turnaround times. The analytics capabilities have also helped us identify underperforming segments and optimize profitability. Overall, Vendavo has allowed us to increase pricing discipline, speed up the quote-to-cash cycle, and make more strategic commercial decisions.

**What do you like best about Vendavo?**

Okay, so ease of use? Not gonna lie—Vendavo ain't exactly plug-and-play. UI feels a bit old-school and clunky at first, and there's for sure a learning curve. But once you get the hang of it? Lifesaver for pricing and approvals.
Implementation was smooth than we thought—shoutout to their onboarding team—but yeah, clean data is a must or you're in for headaches.

Support’s actually decent? Like, they answer fast and know their stuff when things break (which, y’know, happens).

We use this thing daily—pricing teams live in it, and even sales checks deal guidance before sending quotes.

Features are loaded, like Pricing, margins, sims, segmentation—awesome but overwhelming at first.

Integrations? Surprisingly painless with SAP (after some tweaks, obviously). Data flows nice now, but we had to Frankenstein a few connectors early on.

**What do you dislike about Vendavo?**

Sometimes it can be a lot. Like, the UI? Super cluttered sometimes. I just wanna pull a quick price, not go on a treasure hunt through eight different menus, y’know? And don’t even get me started on the learning curve—our team had to sit through, like, three training sessions before it clicked, and even now, somebody’s always like, "Wait, how do I…?"

Oh, and when you throw big data at it? Ugh. Slows down like an old laptop, or just straight-up crashes. Super fun when you’re racing the clock. And if your data’s even a little messy? Good luck. The pricing recs get all weird, so you end up second-guessing everything anyway. Like, cool tool, but damn, it’s got some moods.

**What problems is Vendavo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vendavo’s got this whole suite of tools—PricePoint’s like your pricing brainiac, crunching numbers but low-key overwhelming if you’re not a data nerd; Deal Guide’s that AI co-pilot trying to keep sales from botching quotes (works most times, unless your inputs are garbage); Margin Bridge is your forensic accountant, sniffing out why margins tanked last quarter (spoiler: somebody screwed up); CPQ Cloud pumps out quotes stupid fast, assuming your pricing rules aren’t a disaster; and Rebate Manager? Niche but clutch when you’re dealing with sketchy channel partners and their endless ‘special deals.’ Solid tools overall.

The UI its very intuitive and user friendly. 
The administration and customization of the system doesn't require a high programmer expertise.   
The support from Vendavo its fast and accurate.
Cloud based, access from any device. 
Fast configuration and detailed quotation document of our products.

Originally it was needed to manage the administration with Internet explorer, now it has been updated, but we are still used to work on the older interface, need training on the newer one.

**What do you like best about Vendavo?**

Vendavo allows the business I work to really dive into the details of pricing and helps us see where we can improve pricing to certain customers as well as tighten the band of price dispersion we have in some markets.  It is an easy tool to use for our marketing and sales teams.  The deal manager is useful in tracking our negotiated discounting and ways to improve it. The price manage module helps the business understand pricing via a waterfall and how we can have different list pricing across channels and countries.  I would recommend this product to any company that really wants to understand pricing and help launch their business into pricing science.

**What do you dislike about Vendavo?**

It took our information technology team a lot longer to implement it in our business than anticipated and we had to do a lot of customization to fit it to the way we do business.

**Recommendations to others considering Vendavo:**

If you don't have pricing software then I recommend getting one as it has helped our company push the importance of price.

**What problems is Vendavo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of having a lot of disparity in pricing between customers.  Vendavo has helped us align our pricing across channel and regions.  We have realized a benefit of $1.0 million of pricing improvement.

Vendavo helps in daily tasks such as negotiated discount approval processes and pricing management with an organized structure all of this with reports and helpful dashboards. It also, help us handle Program and Promotional Discounts.

There are a few compatibilities issues with new browsers, the zoom and resizing of the tool require the page to refresh.

**Recommendations to others considering Vendavo:**

If you are currently not using a CRM tool to manage pricing & discounts a correct implementation for your SAP ERP will make those tasks easier, reportable, and trackable.

Vendavo helps us with the role management, annual price increases, discount management, and great user segregation for these functions.

After vendavo acquisition of Navetti, i have seen a lot of changes, mostly for the good of product and service we have gotten. They are most customer service focused and we are happy to continue are business with the company.

I do not have much to say. We are fairly new with Vendavo as a company.

**Recommendations to others considering Vendavo:**

Vendavo (as a pricepoint user) has been of great use in our company, for the size and volume of product prices we manage. If you are still workign with excel and making changes manually, its already time to switch to Vendavo.

We use Price Point application to manage our product pricing and price optimisation / revisions, which is not practically possible straight to manage in ERP, because of the product portfolio.

**What do you like best about Vendavo?**

I like the vendavo interface, you don't need that much knowledge to start using it, I like that it offers a complete analysis of recent transactions and gives a very detailed analysis. It is used for companies that have more than one product, allows to analyze the benefit that can be obtained from current sales data, this allows to analyze the effectiveness of sales, their profit margin and thus be able to make decisions about the products and sales.

The setup is not so easy, it takes time, it is something that should be made easier and avoid so much complication.

Vendavo is ideal for sales businesses, has a functional analysis system, and generates complete reports to make sales decisions.

Vendavo is easy to catch on to and easy to process analytics

Vendavo requires updating in the background.  This requires the tool to be taken off line and not accessible to the sales support.  It would be great for the tool to update during off hours to allow for a seamless interaction with the end user.

**What problems is Vendavo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vendavo allows us to analyze discounting and to be able to point out where it's heaviest.  This is often an eye opener to sales teams as they aren't aware of the margin erosion or price impact of their discounting.

**What do you like best about Vendavo?**

Our small B2C business evaluated several CPQ providers in detail before deciding on Vendavo CPQ.  We chose Vendavo CPQ due to: 1) customizable and intuitive user interface 2) ability to implement ourselves with guided support/training 3) reasonable implementation and ongoing cost.
  
Our vision was to have our sales team be able to develop quotes “live” in front of customers using tablets/ipads mirrored on large TVs.  Additionally, our long-term vision is to allow customers to refine their own quotes using a web portal interface.  Therefore, an intuitive user interface was the most critical criteria to our CPQ system as many users may not be extremely tech-savvy.  Vendavo has certainly delivered as initial training took less than 1 hour for our sales team to understand the basics to quote.  Customers love the pricing transparency and ability to make their own option selections with the “live quote” process using tablets mirrored on large TVs.  

We chose a hybrid implementation strategy (combination of admin training, self-implementation, and Vendavo implementation) primarily due to value and long-term self-management.  We are a small company and do not have dedicated programmers for implementation.  Even with a complex product with many selections, the Vendavo CPQ admin interface and programming was easy enough to implement most of the system on our own.  Our Project Manager was outstanding in teaching the system rather than just “taking the wheel.”     

In the 6 months since launch, we have only scratched the surface of possibilities with Vendavo CPQ and continue to add new features to improve system.  Vendavo has been supportive in developing new features and resolving issues.  Vendavo CPQ has transformed the way we do business.

**What do you dislike about Vendavo?**

Negatives are minor compared to upside.  1) Our users are not fans of the latest user interface (Version 10) as it appears to be less tablet friendly - key navigation features seem to be placed in poor locations and some changed from buttons to text.  2) Database upload process can be a bit awkward, but understandable since system can handle very complex products at multiple price points, locations, currencies, etc. 3) Need ability to “auto-save” quotes in process.  If internet connection hiccups, we must start over.

We have reduced the time to quote from a 3-4 day behind-the-scenes process due requiring supplier quote inquiries and tribal knowledge to being able to accurately quote live in front of customer in 1-2 hours.  The quote process now has a standard flow to logically guide customers through each available selection. Quote accuracy has improved significantly. Professional looking system generated quotes clearly detail the options customers have selected to eliminate any ambiguity of their selections.

Having an offer through the deal setting automatically going to our ERP system (SAP) is very useful. Additionally, PA analytics are helping us gain even better insights into our performance.

**What do you dislike about Vendavo?**

I am not a big fan of being forced to use Silverlight in the admin console and I would like to have the option to copy questions during guided sales setup. I would also like to see it work with the latest Microsoft browser offerings.

As always, do your homework, but take the time to learn the nuances of the product. It's the little things that make this platform fantastic.

**What problems is Vendavo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving a problem with our sales staff who are not 100% sure they have the correct price. With CPQ, we ensure that the price they see is the price they are selling. Our advantages have been a reduction in margin erosion and the speed with which our quotes have been completed.

Our software with CPQ was designed to assist my sales team estimate projects accurately and quickly.
CPQ's ability to understand my products configurations & pricing complexities have enabled us to save several thousand dollars per year.   The ROI is clear.   The software also improves that order entry process from an admin standpoint.

The software upgrades have a tendency to change some of my configuration rules

Vendavo Sales Rep and Acocunt Management are great to work with, seeking to understand our business needs, recommend best approach specifically for our organization, and resolve issues as they arise

**What do you dislike about Vendavo?**

The user interface of Deal Manager badly needs updating to improve intuitiveness of the user experience.  Expected functionality that would improve ease of use is lacking and introduces frustration for our user base.

**What problems is Vendavo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem we are solving is the need to modernize our price platform; With that comes transparency to pricing components for analytics that have historically been inaccessible;
Benefits: By modernizing, we have moved from redundant data entry by clerical staff to rate entry directly in the system by the price makers themselves. With that we have been able to move to a more mature pricing model with the ability to make price adjustments in response to market changes rather than one a year when the document annual review came up for renewal.

Having quotation via deal setting automatically going to our ERP (SAP) system is very helpful. Furthermore the analytics from PA are helping us to get even better insights in our performance.

The current ui we are using is not very intuitive. In order to optimize the view to your personal needs there is a lot of filtering involved. 

**Recommendations to others considering Vendavo:**

In order to get user adoption and quick wins start with the module you expect the highest and more immediate win with. As a company we decided to go for the whole package immediately and this did not help us with a quick implementation. Also try to stay away from too much customization.

Less back office work so far. We are aiming to reduce the front end work to enter a deal by sales as well.

the best about profit analyzer is the ease of use - i.e. predefined charts that can be quickly use to build the dashboard

**What do you dislike about Vendavo?**

in the same time, I would welcome more customization options - i.e. if I need to adjust the chart. from that perspective, MS excel is still winning :)

we are collecting a lot of data about the sales and customer behavior through the use of the price optimization manager. Profit analyzer helps us to turn this data into insights.

Delayed architecture enhancements and move to Cloud/AI technologies. However, the latest version 9.x release and upcoming 10.x are major steps in the right direction

It is a strong and robust pricing and analytical tool. It provides very good business insight to the users in terms of  how they are doing the business.

Performance, this is one thing I'm not able to keep my end users satisfied.

In terms of Price setting this has been very helpful compared to earlier methods our business followed.
Profit Analyzer has been really helpful to do deep dive how the sales is performing across multiple channels and dimensions providing right insight to the management.

I like the Profit Analyzer(PA) , we are using the classic model and I like the water fall and the detailed filters to analyze the data and check the historical sales, graphs and charts.

**What do you dislike about Vendavo?**

The performance of the system. It takes lot of time for pricing in DM.

**What problems is Vendavo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Price changes are with proper approval and reasons.
The business person analyzes the data and approves the changes in the contracts.

The sales team does not have the access to change the contract price without approval.

I like that many of our catalogs are easily accessed and quick to sort through. We can go from nothing to a proposal in less that 10 minutes with accurate information. Also, It's very easy to customize

We have a heavily customized system with integrations to other CPQ instances which sometimes has some issues with integration. The saving should happen in the background as you don't want to be interrupted every time you select something (Ipop).

We are solving an issue with our sales people not knowing 100% that they have the correct price. With CPQ we ensure that the price they see is the price they are selling. Our benefits has been a reduction in margin erosion and speed at which our quotes are completed.

The platform is so customizable. We have a lot of "special " situations with our estimating and the Endeavor CPQ system is always able to handle it.

I wouldn't say I "dislike" anything;  the challenge we have faced is that we are Endeavor's first landscaping client so the learning curve (on both sides) has been what I would call a challenge.

We are able to use InforCRM and Endeavor CPQ seamlessly and this has opened the door to streamlining our sales process across the board. The time savings for our Sales staff is immeasurable.

The radio buttons in the selection process make it fairly easy to select the application

For some reason, when the sections are made and the result is displayed at the bottom, you are not supposed to select the radio button for the item and should (according to the note) select the NEXT arrow at the top of the page. If you do accidentally select the radio button, the NEXT arrow does not work properly and will not fix itself even if the radio button is unselected.

This software helps us select which pump fits our application and displays the cost of the product.

We have a very special, custom product that can result in extremely complex configurations and therefore extremely complex logic in order to ensure accurate proposals. Not only does Endeavor provide a fast stable environment, but their ability to customize and streamline the quoting process to afford our salespeople more time to meet with customers face-to-face and sell!

Support is quick to respond and resolve as well as providing constructive suggestions to further improve our UX.

**What do you dislike about Vendavo?**

There is not much to dislike, the only thing that we've heard requested from our user group apply to some aesthetics changes.

There is some unique functionality that was lost when we upgraded to their newest version of our tool, but with all the other improvements, and knowing it is something that will be addressed with incremental upgrades as we move forward, it is something we can work around.

**Recommendations to others considering Vendavo:**

Endeavor will set realistic expectations regarding a timeline for completion. They will do everything in their power to provide the most stable, easy to use system within the allotted time frame. They provide status reports on a regular basis making sure you are always aware of what is completed, what is outstanding and how well you've managed the time and resources associated with implementing your custom solution.

**What problems is Vendavo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a tool that allowed our salesmen to provide quotations to their customers as quickly as possible as well as capturing all the information regarding their quotation within our CRM, Salesforce. When we began the adoption process of our new CRM 5 years ago we were told that they could not support our need for such a customized tool using native salesforce capbilities. Endeavor CPQ was able to provide us with a solution quickly and provided a great deal of direct support to our user group during the initial rollout. 

We've seen an decrease in the amount of time it takes to generate a quotation which means our salesmen have more time to focus on making a sale. The proposal generation is also top notch and provides an excellent experience to our potential customers and provides a clear, easily understood proposal, that increases our chances of making a sale.

The solution integrates seamlessly with our Salesforce.com CRM platform to offer consistent and professional customer proposals, as well as accurate product data on Sales Opportunities for forecasting.

We are a long-time partner of Endeavor, so we had to migrate from a previously employed solution to the new platform, which required some dedicated effort and time, but the Endeavor team worked cooperatively and constructively with us all along the way to help ensure a smooth upgrade release.

If you're in the market for a robust, yet easy-to-use CPQ tool that integrates well with various CRM platforms, this is a solid solution.

Although we offer a standard range of door product lines, there is high variability around available options for any given door configuration and its unique application and size, resulting in a "custom" sale every time a door is quoted. CPQ gives me the ability to customize our guided selling to fit the less technical nature of our sales team.  I can customize it in so many different ways I sometimes lose track of all the things it can do.  It allows me to control what our Sales Team can see, which in turn allows me to control what products are selected from the catalog.  

**What do you dislike about Vendavo?**

I am not a big fan of being forced to use Silverlight in the admin console, and I wish that I had the ability to copy questions during the guided selling setup.  I would also like to see it work with the newest browser offerings from Microsoft.

**Recommendations to others considering Vendavo:**

As always do your homework, but take the time to learn the nuances of the product.  It is the little things that make this a fantastic platform.

**What problems is Vendavo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We focus a great deal here on order entry errors.  We need our Sales Support Team focusing on entering orders quickly and accurately.  With CPQ and the guided selling trees, I am able to create a series of simple questions that our Sales Support Team answers and based on those answers, it will show or hide other options as they go through it.  This was important to our company because it removes products that are not needed from view.  By doing this, orders are easily repeatable and our order accuracy has increased greatly.
