"An IT Titan's tool"
What do you like best about Uptime Labs?

Uptime Labs offers a sophisticated, evolving approach to incident management training that goes far beyond simple technical drills. I’m particularly impressed by the leadership’s passion and the platform's ability to simulate high-pressure environments—complete with realistic logs and demanding stakeholders. This immersive 'real-time' format has directly improved our team's ability to manage communication cadences and prioritize effectively under pressure. Seeing our incident managers master time-boxing and stakeholder expectations in such a realistic setting has been invaluable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Uptime Labs?

While some scenarios occasionally feel a bit condensed, I recognize that this is a necessary trade-off to ensure the drills fit within a shorter, actionable timeframe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mastering Crisis Management with Uptime Labs"
What do you like best about Uptime Labs?

I really like how Uptime Labs offers a unique experience with a large set of drills in a staged environment. It's amazing to be tested under conditions where systems are failing for a hypothetical company, and my team and I have to resolve the incident while keeping management satisfied. The challenges where all customers compete in the same drill truly simulate a stressful, real incident. The drills gradually increase in difficulty, letting me master the basics before tackling more challenging scenarios. After every drill, there's a coaching moment to help improve skills further. I appreciate how the facilitator takes time to ask thought-provoking questions and provides valuable tips, tricks, and honest feedback. It's great that Uptime Labs is continuously developing new drills with varied scenarios, adding fresh ones every few weeks with new interaction possibilities or actors. What do you dislike about Uptime Labs?

Not really dislike, by without the continuous development and improvement of the drills, the drills risk the chance of becoming monotonous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Immersive Training with Real-World Scenarios"
What do you like best about Uptime Labs?

I really like how Uptime Labs helps train high-grade incident managers by equipping them with all the necessary skills like communication, incident mechanics, prioritization, pattern recognition, and management of internal and external stakeholders. It’s also great that incidents unfold in real time with real logs, creating a realistic and immersive environment that maps to real life. The interactions during each drill realistically mirror real-life scenarios such as dealing with upset business users who demand regular updates and engineers who push back on findings. This true-to-life feature is something I find particularly valuable. Our incident managers have improved in time-boxing during incidents and providing updates at regular intervals, allowing them to manage incidents effectively without being interrupted by constant queries from stakeholders because a cadence and expectation for updates have been established. What do you dislike about Uptime Labs?

I would love more visibility into the progress of our cohort, like on-demand access via a dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Incident Management with Engaging Training"
What do you like best about Uptime Labs?

I love the interactive and evolving nature of the scenarios provided by Uptime Labs, which really enhances the learning experience. The level of engagement from both the Uptime team and leadership, who are clearly passionate about incident management, stands out to me. The training drills are fantastic, and the roadmap for the product is encouraging. I also appreciate the wider community engagement and the competition-style format of larger drills, which help me understand our capability during critical scenarios. What do you dislike about Uptime Labs?

I think the greatest area for improvements would be around creating a unique engineer baseline to measure development as well as self service reporting and analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-World Mock Drills That Build Strong Muscle Memory"
What do you like best about Uptime Labs?

Mock drills that simulate real world scenarios Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Uptime Labs?

It's not a dislike - but after a while the drills will become mundane. It's important to maintain the muscle memory, but the amount of continuous training needed will depend on the person. Factors like how often, how much, and what kind of drills will likely need to be custom-tailored? Just a guess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transforming Incident Response Training"
What do you like best about Uptime Labs?

Honestly, there isn’t much to fault. One thing I appreciate is how committed the team behind Uptime Labs is to evolving the product — they’re receptive to feedback and regularly roll out new scenarios that keep the training engaging and up to date. Instead of the platform feeling static, it continues to grow alongside the challenges that organizations like ours face, which keeps it highly relevant and effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Uptime Labs?

No real downsides — the platform keeps improving and adding fresh scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
