## Hone Reviews
 ### 1. Empowers Confidence with a Rich Course Selection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorian W.

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like Hone's course materials, as they have helped me learn about AI and built my confidence to speak up on related topics. I've taken multiple courses, and I appreciate the wealth of knowledge I've gained from the instructors. The breakout rooms for meetings are another feature I find valuable because they allow me to collaborate with other professionals and discuss how certain topics come up. Additionally, I find it helpful to have a vast list of courses to choose from.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I'd like to see a board to review old courses I've taken before with notes that were kept. The notes the instructor uses can be kept by the participants so we can review them after the course has been completed.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone helps me learn about AI and boosts my confidence to speak up. The instructors are great, and the breakout rooms allow meaningful discussions. Having a wide range of courses is useful.

 ### 2. Interactive, Practical Workshops That Make Learning Stick

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Youssef H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

What I like best about Hone is how interactive and practical the sessions are. The instructors create a safe, supportive space where people actually talk through real scenarios instead of just listening to theory. The frameworks are simple enough to remember, but specific enough that I can plug my own situations into them right away. I also appreciate the accountability of live workshops and the mix of perspectives from different industries, which makes the discussions richer and helps me see my own challenges from new angles.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

On the odd occasion, I find the pace a bit fast for deeper reflection, especially when we move quickly between breakout rooms, frameworks, and group discussion. It can feel like there isn’t quite enough time to sit with a concept and think about how it applies to my specific role. I’ve also noticed there are fewer session times that align well with my timezone and already busy calendar, which can make it harder to join consistently.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

I’d recommend Hone to anyone who wants live practice with real people rather than just watching recordings or reading slides. It’s especially valuable if you’re looking to build confidence in communication, feedback, and leadership skills, even as an individual contributor. You get simple, repeatable frameworks, space to try them out in a supportive environment, and the chance to hear how people in other roles and industries handle similar challenges. If you’re willing to participate actively and bring your own scenarios, you’ll get a lot of value from the sessions.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone is helping me build practical leadership and collaboration skills that I don’t naturally get from my current daily workload; especially around communication, feedback, and managing stakeholders across teams. It breaks big, abstract topics into concrete frameworks and live practice with real people who are sharing the same passion and facing the same issues, which makes it easier to apply what I learn immediately. The more I use it, the more I feel more confident leading projects, structuring conversations, and contributing at a more strategic level in cross functional settings.

 ### 3. A Safe, Supportive Space with Humble Participants

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christophe L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

That the participants are not arrogant, and it feels like a safe space. This is critical, because it naturally inspires participation, dialog, understanding one another.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Based on the pressure from the workplace to participate in Hone, it often feels like "busy work." This is not a criticism for Hone, but it may impact how participants respond to Hone and to its classes. Nothing that I dislike about Hone.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

But I think if Hone could establish peer cohorts or networks, enabling participants to continue and grow together, that would be fantastic.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a good space for hearing stories from peers who share similar experiences, and especially useful for those who have no network of peers in their workplace. In other words, I found it most useful for employees who feel isolated in their workplace.

 ### 4. Empowers Managers with Practical Frameworks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omar T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I used Hone training to be a better manager for my team. It has been helping me to be effective by providing strategies for managing, communicating, and leading my team. I also find it very helpful to cross-learn from the experiences of students in Hone classes who are from other organizations. I appreciate the frameworks introduced in classes and the breakout sessions that assist in expanding and deploying the frameworks further, which helps with learning and applying the discussed frameworks. They provide a safe space to practice Hone learnings, which I can then use in real life scenarios with my team. Hone classes have helped me to review constructive feedback in a better way and have helped me gain a better understanding of my direct-reports' mindsets and perspectives. This helps me to have better empathy with them. I also like the breakout and discussion sessions as they are interactive and help to further our learnings.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I would consider the sessions to be a bit longer to have enough time to thoroughly review and practice the topics being discussed. Sometimes a 1hr session seems a bit too short.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone helps me be an effective manager by improving my communication and leadership strategies. It provides a platform to learn from others and practice strategies, enhancing empathy and cross-learning which enrich team management.

 ### 5. Ideal Fit for Leadership Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor T. | Personal & Professional Development Writer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I really love using Hone for leadership training. Their services fit the best for my leadership journey compared to others like LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, and O'Reilly. What's really good about Hone is that they try to understand business realities and challenges, and their coaches have real business experiences, working with different types of managers and teams. They offer soft skill development to technical skill development needed for managing a team well. I appreciate how all their methodologies work together, allowing us to brainstorm and find solutions that fit our current needs, rather than just receiving a ready-made solution. I find their focus on leader and professional development really well-aligned with what I need, and I'd love to continue and expand more on that.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Sometimes, some trainings or workshops aren't available in certain time zones, and you need to plan in advance to attend. If something comes up and you can't attend, you have to wait months to get the same training available again.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone for leadership training. Their coaches have real business experience, understanding daily work challenges. They offer soft and technical skill development, helping us manage teams and navigate workday issues while caring for personal and professional growth.

**Reviewed by:** Calvin M.

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I appreciate Hone for providing coaching classes as part of our organization initiatives to help us be better managers. These management classes are incredibly helpful in tackling a variety of topics, like learning how to handle difficult challenges in management, structuring teams, conducting reviews, and addressing specific management problems. Hone has been instrumental in boosting our team productivity and has helped me become a better leader. I like that they provide a mental framework for doing reviews and structuring teams, which makes our organization more structurally sound. Each class includes coursework that helps with preparation, along with real-world examples discussed with other attendees, which I find very useful for practice. The concept of setting follow-through goals is great as it keeps you honest and encourages acting on what you've learned. I particularly like the classes that involve different organizations, where I get to interface with folks in slightly different but related situations, offering different perspectives, which is really nice.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Sometimes classes have overlapping content so it can feel a bit repetitive.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone to gain management skills, becoming a better leader. It boosts team productivity and makes our organization more structurally sound through shared classes.

 ### 7. Expert Trainers, High Recommendation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I really appreciate the training sessions with Hone as they genuinely help me in my day-to-day role. They provide different ideas on how to do better and be more productive. The expertise of the trainers stands out; they're highly qualified and articulate clearly, which really helps me understand the courses and apply them in real life. There's a great array of training sessions available, and I'm very interested in many of them. They're also easy to connect to and very to the point and clear when conducting the trainings.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I wish there was more tracking to that invisibility in the AI sessions. Maybe for management to see that people are actually using that feature.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone's training sessions to improve my day-to-day work, making me more productive. The highly qualified trainers clearly articulate the courses, helping me apply them in real life. Hone enhances my skills in productivity, planning, and client interactions.

 ### 8. Transformative Learning with Engaging Courses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer J.

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I use Hone for personal and professional development, focusing on soft skills like team dynamics and hard skills such as productivity. It helps me with team dynamics, becoming a better leader, and building executive presence and emotional intelligence. I find the live classes to be great, and the AI training agents are pretty cool too. There's a wealth of resources available, with decks downloadable and lots of helpful workbooks. The teachers in the courses seem engaging.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Sometimes I don't want to be camera on or engage in small breakout groups, but every session is formatted that way. There is some benefit to just having the course on and not being 100% engaged because I take these courses during the workday.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone for personal and professional development, improving team dynamics, leadership, and emotional intelligence. It helps me be a better team player, identify and resolve conflicts, and enables my team to work more seamlessly.

 ### 9. Transforms Feedback Skills with Hands-On Approach

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcelo N. | Director Strategy, Planning & Analytics

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like how Hone teaches a framework and then asks you to do practical exercises, followed by reflecting on what you learned and how you applied the lesson. It's a very hands-on approach that connects practical experience with theoretical knowledge. I really like the personalized approach, the instructor knew all of our names, and it felt like a back-and-forth conversation. I would encourage Hone to continue seeking empathetic instructors with lots of experience who truly understand what it's like to be both an employee and a manager in a large, complex organization.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

The time to discuss with peers in the breakout rooms was too short and sometimes you didn't have time to cover all of your reflections.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone to enhance my career, helping me be clear and fact-driven when giving feedback. It provides a framework for practical exercises, improving team dynamics. I appreciate the personalized approach and empathetic instructors, which fosters an engaging learning environment.

**Reviewed by:** Thomas L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like that Hone provides a vast range of trainings towards leadership, each one being well-detailed and following a clear format. The trainers are very explicit, and it's possible to ask questions during the training since it's interactive. We don't just listen all the time; we get the chance to speak with the trainer and the audience, which is really cool. The sessions are lively and not something that makes you want to get sleepy. It's something that wakes you up and gives great insight into how to be a better manager. I also appreciate the time spent with other members of the audience doing exercises and practicing the theory we learn, which is very helpful. The skills I have learned during these trainings have turned out to be very efficient, specifically helping with coaching others and managing conflicts.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

For me as I'm based in Europe, it would be more practical to have sessions during the day.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pratik B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I find the material available during the session of each class to be the most valuable. Apart from that, I appreciate the larger group sessions as they allow for interaction. The exercises and material provided by Hone's educators have helped me the most, even more than reaching milestones. I also like that Hone can create a calendar meeting directly on my professional account, which helps me stay up to date.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I would say, like, if Hone was an app that I could install on my phone, it would be a bit more convenient. But it can be a bit more engaging. More proactive, accessibility, not through website, but something either through an app that you could install on the phone or if there is something that is tied to even Slack or your company account, So, say, a messenger service which is not an email, that would be ideal too.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone helps me manage people both above and under me through exercises and materials from educators that are crucial.

I appreciate the helpful insights on functioning as a woman in leadership and integrating AI use in the workplace. I really value the Zoom classes offered by Hone, especially the format and the engaging instructors who provide slide decks/pdfs to all participants and actively engage with the chat. I also like the wide variety of classes offered by Hone, even though I wish some were available more frequently.

I do wish they had certain classes more often than once a month. Some classes are offered on the same weekdays and times, and I can never attend because of weekly meetings at those exact days and times.

Hone helps me improve my leadership skills, such as task prioritization and handling tough conversations. It also teaches how to navigate AI use at work. The classes via Zoom are engaging with formats and instructors who provide valuable resources.

It’s given me the opportunity to engage with other leaders and gain valuable experience and knowledge. It has helped me get quick and effective answers, enabling me to solve problems and build strategies faster. I also encourage the continued use of the AI coach and sessions, as well as taking advantage of any upcoming live courses.

Having live lectures is great because they allow each session to be unique with attendees can speak on their career experiences (you meet people who have 1 year or even 20+ years of leadership experience which makes each class unique. I appreciate the availability of live lessons instead of recordings. The inclusion of real-time examples from those working in corporate America is valuable because the conversations allow attendees to have open discussions. The lessons on AI are amazing, providing a great introduction to the topic and immediate real-world application of the skills. I get more use from Hone because the workshops teach soft skills with multidisciplinary applications. They help me understand our corporate leadership better and frequently address issues affecting my communication with my manager and other departments. I hope my soft skills and interpersonal communication have improved. **What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 18. Robust Leadership Training, Excellent Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beth B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

Hone is a great learning platform, offering live, instructor-led sessions across a wide variety of personal and professional development topics. Many classes are offered at times that work for our fully-remote organization, distributed across many time zones. Sessions are well structured, with interaction encouraged throughout, and selective use of breakout rooms to reinforce learning through role-play or discussion. Every session includes a PDF handout that summarizes the learning. Some trainings are paired with optional workshop sessions or AI coaching. I was not involved in the selection of Hone or my company, but I have been involved in the development of an integration with our HCM platform, and found the Hone team to be very responsive and collaborative throughout that process.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Within the platform, the additional data fields available for user info are pretty limited. They could stand to offer some custom fields to enable administrators to include company-specific information in the user data to improve analytics and ease user management.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone helped us implement a leadership training program with live, interactive sessions, which improved manager feedback. It's flexible for remote time zones, integrates well, and offers a wide variety of relevant topics for professional and personal development.

 ### 19. Empowers Personal Growth with Practical Training Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor R.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I use Hone for training purposes, and it’s really broadened my horizon. I've found some of the classes extremely helpful, especially in applying AI to my work processes and improving my problem-solving and communication with my team. I really like the PDFs that come along with the Hone classes, allowing me to refer back to them later. The breakout rooms are great for talking to others in our classes, and meeting people in different positions experiencing similar challenges is really nice for collaboration. I also find the titles of some classes intriguing, which keeps me curious and engaged.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I think one change that I would make would be a little bit more about diving into maybe a problem a little bit more. And then maybe providing more hands on solutions, I would say. Obviously, that's kind of a broad statement, but maybe just giving the candidates that are participating in the class the ability to provide more details as to what works for them, what doesn't work for them, and how somebody could take that to their company.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone for training to broaden my horizons, particularly in learning how AI can improve my work processes. The classes also enhance my problem-solving and communication with my team.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I use Hone for leadership training, and I really like the classes. Members of our team who use the service enjoy it, so it was opened up to more of us for additional training. We've had an excellent experience with Hone in the past. It has helped me hone in on the correct communication with my clients and manage my day better, allowing me to get more work done with less stress and deliver with clarity. I really like the deliverables; being in one-hour classes is an excellent use of my time, and having the resources in a deck afterwards to refer back to is very valuable. The classes are well laid out, and the instructors or leaders are excellent and know their craft well. I'm looking forward to the next four classes I have planned. The service is very effective with manageable bites of information that you can actually put to use right away.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I think that offering more of a selection of times would be effective. For me, I did have an issue where I thought I was booking a 3PM class, and it was actually 3AM. I had to cancel it.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone helps me manage my day better and communicate with clients, reducing stress and improving clarity. The one-hour classes are efficient, and having resources to refer back to is valuable. The manageable bites of information are effective and easily applicable.

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I have attended several Hone classes for training on communication tactics, and they are extremely helpful with diffusing intense situations during meetings with clients and customers. The communication courses are helpful to create happy and healthy relationships with customers. Courses like transforming conflict into collaboration and identifying the right conflict style are great for communication with clients. The Leading compassionate conversations course taught me that using specific terminologies helps create healthy relationships with customers and clients. Even though the classes are through Google Meet, the in-person and group communication is very beneficial. Interacting with people from other companies and sharing previous experiences is a great tool. Overall, I find Hone classes perfect and extremely helpful.

 ### 22. Hone - Practical, Engaging, and Highly Valuable Learning Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Artur B. | Manager Maps, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

What I like best about Hone is the strong focus on practice and the opportunity to actively apply theory in real-life scenarios. The sessions are highly interactive, which makes learning engaging and practical rather than purely theoretical. I also really value how well-prepared the trainers are — they are knowledgeable, clear, and create a supportive environment that encourages participation and meaningful discussion.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Honestly, there isn’t anything significant that I dislike about Hone. So far, my experience has been very positive. The sessions are well-organized, engaging, and practical, and the trainers are highly professional. If anything, I would just say I wish there were even more courses available, because the quality makes you want to continue learning.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

I would definitely recommend Hone to anyone considering it. The courses effectively combine theory with practical application, giving you the chance to actively practice new skills in a supportive and interactive environment. The trainers are extremely well-prepared and bring valuable real-world insights, which makes the learning experience both engaging and impactful. If you’re looking for training that is practical, people-focused, and immediately applicable to your work, Hone is a great choice.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone is solving the problem of traditional training being too theoretical, generic, and disconnected from real-life challenges. Many courses focus only on theory, without giving participants the chance to practice skills or engage in meaningful discussions.

Hone offers courses that combine theory with practical application and real interaction with other people in a friendly, engaging environment. This makes learning more effective and easier to apply in everyday work. It benefits me by helping me not only understand concepts, but also practice them, exchange perspectives with others, and immediately implement what I learn in real situations.

I love that each class really encourages open communication with all attendees. The powerful questions class that I took allowed me to walk into meetings with improved communication. He explained in a thorough way how to communicate in different scenarios and to different people. I walk into meetings feeling more confident knowing that I can communicate in an effective way because of the different types of powerful questions I learned about from my class. With each of the attendees being from such different work environments, it actually helps each person take away so much more as we each have different perspectives and a lens we hear info through and questions through.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I don’t dislike anything that I have experienced so far.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone equips our staff with skills to improve unity, culture, and communication. The classes, like the powerful questions class, enhance meeting communication and foster open dialogue across diverse perspectives.

I've noticed improvements in leveraging team strengths and making one-on-one interactions more impactful. I really value the expertise of the people leading the workshops; they are usually very knowledgeable and engaging. This class/instructor style, along with engaging content and useful homework, makes me want to attend more classes and encourages me to continue our partnership with Hone.

 ### 26. Valuable Leadership Insights with Room for Depth

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah A.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like that Hone provides leadership training that addresses the basics of management, feedback and recognition, and structuring 1-1s. I appreciated the ideas on leading psychologically safe teams and liked the survey they offered to use with our teams. The dual concern model is valuable as it helps me understand the psychology behind team members, aiding in more effective management. It’s also helpful in thinking through why people act the way they do, and leveraging that understanding for better collaboration. I find resources with takeaway materials to support implementation very beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Some of the classes are too basic, like the 1-1 structure class. Maybe they could be leveled by the manager's experience level.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone for basics of management, feedback, and recognition. It gave me ideas on leading psychologically safe teams and understanding team psychology, enhancing collaboration. I also value resources like the survey for teams and the dual concern model, which aids effective management.

 ### 27. Hone: Empowering Leadership with Effective Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will K.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I enjoyed a couple of classes a lot, especially the ones on giving feedback that lands, transforming conflict into collaboration, and cross-functional collaboration. The classes helped me understand how to collaborate better with different teams like presales, product, and engineering. I also liked the collaborative model where the teacher engaged with the group for open discussion and the breakout sessions to meet others in the industry and work through specific challenges. I found these sessions really helpful. Additionally, I appreciate having data-backed pieces to capture the topics, which I think the team did a pretty good job at.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I guess maybe just, like, if there's any opportunities to, like, collaborate more or if there's more, like, working sessions, around AI, I think that would be helpful too.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Hone helpful for giving feedback, managing conflicts, and improving cross-functional collaboration, especially in a siloed company structure. It supports my leadership role by enhancing team communication and understanding different team dynamics in a SaaS environment.

 ### 28. Enhanced our Leadership Development with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin R.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I really appreciate Hone's emphasis on live, specific instruction for hands-on skill and capability building. I'm especially impressed with their innovations in AI role plays. The service and support from our account manager and others at Hone have been exceptional—they've been a great partner. I value the educational offerings Hone provides to me as a Talent Management leader and to our employees. They're always evolving the content they provide, and I enjoy their roundtables and opportunities to partner with other talent management professionals. Hone’s classes on using generative AI to expand our learning mindset, skills, and productivity have been particularly valuable as we adopt enterprise Chat GPT. These offerings help us grow our team's knowledge and capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I'd like to see more role-specific and technical types of applications. Also, I'd appreciate more senior leadership content. Our people managers, as they become more experienced, would like richer, more nuanced content to help with their leadership journey.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone provides leadership training without needing us to do hands-on enablement. It offers live instruction for skill building and innovations like AI role play. Their classes on generative AI are valuable, and the service from account managers is exceptional, making them a great partner.

I appreciate being able to participate and ask questions in real time to the instructors. I find the platform is easy to use, and the classes fit well into our work schedules, allowing us to schedule around work. The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, and the topics are applicable to various organizational roles. I also value the live, interactive sessions more than the self-driven modules I've used at other facilities, as they allow for more engaging learning and interaction with other participants.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I would say maybe just offer a few more options for time and for classes.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 30. Professional Training with Consistent Outcomes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Walter A.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

Hone has been a helpful tool in teaching managers at our company basic management skills, allowing us all to implement a similar methodology and use a common set of tools. It has improved communication during my one-on-ones. The trainers are always very good and follow a standard practice, making the experience easy to follow each time. The coach approach offered by Hone is helpful, and it's a professional experience that provides a good baseline for new managers. I also appreciate that the courses mix in social psychology, helping people understand how to interact with different archetypes.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I think it can be a little 'woke' if I'm being honest. But that's a personal preference... others I'm sure see benefit in some of the newer social trends that favor DEI as a staple. Less language with things like 'holding space' for someone or anything else that implies we need to be putting feelings being hurt above making sure people are accountable for their actions and incentivized to succeed based on merit.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone teaches us basic management skills, allowing us to implement a common methodology and tools in managing employees. It improves communication in 1-1s and provides a good baseline for new managers by mixing social psychology to understand interactions with different archetypes.

 ### 31. Actionable Training for High-Stakes Leadership

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

By randomly pairing with peers from different industries during live sessions, Hone exposed diverse perspectives on shared leadership hurdles. This "diversity of thought" helped me to find creative solutions to internal challenges that might not have considered otherwise.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Sometimes one hour just isn’t enough when there are so many people on the call; a 1 hour 30 mins slot would be a more ideal length for these sessions. Also, it would be great to have more IST-friendly calls. :)

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

If you’re considering Hone, I’d strongly suggest leaning into the platform’s live, cohort-based model instead of approaching it like a typical passive e-learning tool. To get the most out of the experience, make the interactive breakouts a priority. They create a rare, low-stakes space to pressure-test leadership ideas—like navigating conflict or delegating complex resources—before you bring them back to your real team.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone solves the critical problem of the "knowledge-action gap" in professional development by replacing passive, lecture-heavy training with live, interactive cohorts that prioritize real-world application. Through their leadership and resource management classes, Hone provides a safe environment to practice high-stakes skills, such as managing team capacity and navigating difficult conversations, with immediate feedback from expert coaches.

 ### 32. Engaging Classes with Valuable Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan M. | Experience Corps Volunteer Engagement Specialist, Non-Profit Organization Management

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I find Hone's services extremely useful for leadership training. The live online classes are particularly beneficial for both flexibility and engagement, and the instructors are all engaging. I really enjoy the post-class commitments as they serve as useful reminders. The trainings are on topics that are relevant to my stage in my career, being about a decade in and a manager, and not yet in senior leadership. I've especially found the trainings related to the best use of AI to be helpful. Hone gives my team and me a common vocabulary to speak about decision making and our team culture around change. The additional training and support from Hone during programmatic changes in our organization has been invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I think a bit more time for questions and answers could be good.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone gives my team a common vocabulary for decision-making and team culture around change. It's valuable for handling programmatic changes and offers flexibility and engagement through live online classes. Instructors are engaging, and the content is relevant to my career stage, especially training on the best use of AI.

 ### 33. Hone Dashboard Makes Individual Journeys Clear and Easy to Track

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like the Hone dashboard as it creates an individual journey with all the steps laid out. I am also able to see my entire team of direct reports progress on their own journey which allows me to track progress. I also liked how Hone allowed me to interact with individuals from outside organizations, which provided additional perspective from outside my organization.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I found a lot of the assigned trainings from my organization filled quickly and I was often limited in my time slots to choose from. This often required me participate in sessions at inconvenient times, such as very early in the morning or very late or night. I appreciate the fact that Hone is accessible to participants from all over the world, but offering more sessions would benefit more people I believe.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

I recommend Hone as it offers supplementary information and reinforcement of important concepts as a learning tool for People Managers. My organization has created individual learning "journeys" for us and it is filled with useful content. The sessions are very professionally run and I like the fact that other companies, sometimes in completely different industries, participate in the sessions as this provides a balanced and broader perspective. The sessions are offered at all times of the day to accommodate participants from all over the world as well. I found that the Hone sessions were worth the time spent attending.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone is helping to provide additional training and guidance to our company's management team in areas where internal resources may be limited. Hone is benefiting me as a manager because I always find it helpful to receive additional trainings as the workplace and workforce trends change and evolve.

Every class has helped me create better habits and develop better skills and having a different outlook on situations and ways to address problems has been vital learnings. There are new ways to improve work habits and new views on work and life situations. Hone's classes also help find new ways to cope with stress and develop better work habits and strategies.

 ### 35. Enhances Productivity with Effective Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damian G.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I really appreciate Hone's impact on our time management and organization, as it increases our efficiency when assisting clients in our service-oriented business. Their techniques to deal with stressful daily workloads, methods of prioritization, and removing clutter have been beneficial. The personal sessions and breakout rooms facilitate better communication and more effective training. Hone also provided an outside perspective on client satisfaction and project scheduling issues that we couldn't see internally. Additionally, implementing Microsoft 365 and ConnectWise with Hone has increased the availability of our staff, reduced unnecessary time organizing meetings, and overall improved productivity.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Sometimes, the class scheduling can be difficult with availability. Sometimes the available classes are only weeks or months in advance or in time zones that are difficult to accommodate.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone improves time management, productivity, and reduces stress. It enhances communication and training through personal sessions, offers new perspectives on client satisfaction, and increases staff engagement and availability.

 ### 36. Respectful, Expert Hosts and a Practical Training Format That Fits in an Hour

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katarzyna K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I joined my first training about a year ago, and since then I’ve participated in every other training offered by Hone, depending on my availability. On top of that, I think I’ve recommended it by now to pretty much all of my colleagues. There are three things I really love about Hone: the amazingly experienced, skilled, and RESPECTFUL hosts (this is the main reason I fell in love with the trainings); the training format - walking through the rules, practicing them in breakout rooms, and sharing experiences - which creates an environment where you actually want to share because you feel like you’re going to get the tips you need; and the fact that the sessions aren’t too long, since anyone can set aside one hour for a training.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

At times, I wish the training went a bit deeper into the subject, but I understand there’s only so much that can be covered within the available timeframe.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

Speaking purely from my experience, it was worth every minute of my time. In every session, I had an “aha” moment, even though I wasn’t new to the subject. Sometimes it’s really helpful to share perspectives, because it lets you see different ways to approach and solve things.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone offers so-called “soft skills” (I hate this term) training sessions. These days there are plenty of trainings like this on the market, so it’s not hard to find options, but in my experience it’s much harder to find ones that are actually good. So what problem is Hone solving? For me, it’s that they deliver genuinely great sessions on topics that some people consider obvious or even a waste of time. In my opinion, though, this kind of training is unfairly disregarded in many learning portfolios. I learned a lot about problem solving, handling difficult conversations, and building authority - and believe me, I thought I had it all figured out already. I was wrong, and I’m genuinely glad I had the opportunity to be proven wrong.

 ### 37. Interactive Classes Enhance Communication Skills

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** June H.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I found the live interactive classes to be a good balance of the instructor, peers, and getting feedback from everyone involved in the discussion. I enjoy the diversity of the courses and the breakout room discussions. The practical tools are easy to understand and apply. I enjoy hearing how others have put the ideas into practice and learning more about myself and my leadership style. Having mostly face-to-face, respectful conversations is so helpful. Gleaning ideas from others is invaluable. I like the ease of booking and rescheduling (flexibility) as well as the warm communication and kind attitudes from the instructors. The peer engagement is great. I like the variety of courses and would love to see more offerings on well-being for employees and leaders, such as positive psychology.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I think some classes could be longer to allow for more discussion, like 90 minutes instead of 60. Sometimes, the breakout sessions feel too short to cover all the questions.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone enhances communication skills by encouraging good questions and positive feedback. I value the live interactive classes, diverse courses, and breakout discussions for practical tools and peer engagement, which help me learn more about my leadership style.

 ### 38. Focused, Practical Trainings with Easy Scheduling and Flexible Time Zones

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco S. | Manager, Customer Success Engineering, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

Each training session focuses on one specific topic. The trainings offer a good balance between theory and practical work: you’ll be paired with one or two other participants to role-play what was explained, or simply to discuss your own experiences and ideas related to the discussed topic.

Sessions are usually 60 minutes long, which makes them easy to follow and simple to schedule between work calls if necessary.

The platform also offers a wide range of mentors for specific topics, and they’re based in different time zones. Because of that, most of the time you can find a suitable session time regardless of your own time zone.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Personally I would like to have some more theory/information on topics. Especially the learners guide that is handed out sometimes misses some of the information provided which makes it somewhat difficult to revisite the topic.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

If you’re looking to offer easy-to-follow soft skills training for soon-to-be managers, current managers, and individual contributors, Hone should definitely be on your watchlist.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides curated soft-skills training that I can easily join from anywhere, without needing to hire a teacher specifically for my company. Beyond the training itself, I also get the chance to talk with peers from different cultural and industry backgrounds and benefit from their experience.

Hone also lets me schedule the trainings at a time that’s most suitable for me (subject to availability).

 ### 39. Great experience in Leadership Training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Utku . | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

The breakout sessions were excellent. Being put into separate rooms encouraged peer-to-peer sharing and gave us a great opportunity to apply the leadership concepts we learned.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

In general, I really enjoyed the trainings from Hone. Not a big issue, but at times, the feedback from the instructors felt slightly over-the-top. The frequent use of reactions like 'excellent' or 'awesome' even for very simple responses didn't feel genuine. A more authentic tone would make the interactions feel less scripted.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

I highly recommend Hone management trainings for leaders at any stage. It provides a strong foundation for new managers, while serving as a valuable refresher for experienced ones.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using Hone for leadership training for the past two years. It covers all the core topics thoroughly and serves as a well-structured refresher. It also provided a space to discuss common challenges with peers and brainstorm solutions together.

 ### 40. Enhances Leadership Skills with Real-Life Insights

**Reviewed by:** Anushtuthi P.

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I find that Hone is great for developing leadership insights as it provides best practices and helps me excel in leadership roles. It allows me to interact with people from different organizations which gives me a unique perspective on how various organizations function and their thought processes. I appreciate the structure each instructor provides with real-life examples and how they ensure everyone is free to share their experiences in a forum to tackle different scenarios. The breakout rooms, although they make me nervous, are great for interacting with people, and the instructors offer new perspectives that are a great learning opportunity.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

The breakout rooms sure make me nervous but that's it's great to interact with folks. I think there should be sessions without breakout rooms too and general discussions. For days when people do not feel like interacting and looking for a discussion with someone with experience.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone for leadership training, gaining insights into best practices and management roles. The platform offers interaction with diverse organizations, helping understand unique perspectives. Real-life examples and open forums are invaluable, and I appreciate the new perspectives from instructors.

 ### 41. Quick, Flexible Learning with Room for Improvement

**Reviewed by:** Ash K.

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I really like using Hone for its quick and snappy learnings and updates on skills. It provides nice, good, short, and sharp sessions that fit well into my busy work life. I find the flexibility of different time slots very helpful, as I can choose sessions that suit my own time, all from the comfort of my own room via video call. I also find it valuable that Hone allows for practice and feedback, letting us work with a group in a sort of 'backyard' setting before heading out to the real field. This approach has been great for understanding challenges, especially when dealing with the younger generation.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I find the time frames a bit weird because I'm in Sydney, Australia. It would be better if they were more considerate of our timing.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone for quick learnings and updates on skills. It helps me connect with others to bounce ideas and overcome work challenges. The sessions are short and insightful, allowing me to understand concepts better. I also value the practical application and feedback component.

 ### 42. Hidden Gold in those Hone Classes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathanael H. | Sr Audio Manager English Production Department, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like the conversations with other leaders in different companies. I've gotten a lot of insights from hearing outside views not siloed by work culture in my company.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I think it would be great to see more of you've taken this class. Here are more companion classes to take to take a deeper dive. I think this already exists but it's not always clear. Some times the instructors show a slide of companion classes and explain which ones specifically are good to go deeper on certain aspects of training. It may be I just don't know how to find it, but I usually just scroll all the classes to find what I'm looking for. A way to put in goals or certifications I'm pursuing and then see classes associated with it would be really helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

I suggest the managers under me take the classes on how to motivate staff, conflict styles, setting proper goals and motivations with the staff. A lot of what I recommend is around creating a great work culture.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping to offer those nuggets of insight into a process or communication style. Those subtle perspectives which can add up over multiple classes into big break throughs with your team and organization.

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like that Hone offers leadership training and skills growth resources, which help me improve my use of AI tools. The prompt engineering class provided insightful methods for using productivity tools more effectively. I enjoy that the classes are taught by a live facilitator with discussion, and they only last an hour, fitting well into my work day. The interactivity helps the material stick better for me. I also appreciate the variety of offerings that allow me to choose courses that interest me the most. Hone makes it easy to reschedule when life happens, and I enjoy learning new things that enhance my job skills.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I would really like to see more courses that are appropriate for more senior level and advanced individual contributors. Most of the courses for individual contributors seem basic for someone that has been a career professional for over a decade, and the leadership courses aren't really applicable for individual contributors.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone improves my productivity by enhancing my skills in AI tools and LLM prompt engineering. The live classes, limited to an hour, fit well into my workday and help the material stick. I also appreciate the variety of courses available, targeting both productivity and communication skills.

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I use Hone to learn how to communicate and handle things better. They've helped me deal with stressful situations and taught me to consider other people's situations, which gives me more insight into potential delays or issues. This has improved my understanding and attitude towards such situations, and I've learned how to manage my time better and focus on specific tasks. Hone's new communication skills training has also improved how I relate to people in different departments. I find the service very useful and helpful in both my work environment and personal life. I also like the videos and one-on-one sessions better than group sessions.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I like the video, or the one on one better than the group.

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I appreciate Hone for offering a variety of presentations and workshops that teach essential soft skills for management and team leadership. The strategic and decision-making skills they cover are empowering and provide resources that are not easy to find elsewhere. The involvement of experts who walk you through, give examples, and ensure you know how to apply what you've learned really stands out. My company did intensive research, and Hone's variety of courses, live sessions, and AI-powered sessions was the reason they chose it. They make the information accessible and ensure the classes are personalized so individuals can truly learn how to use these skills. I love the flexibility of the class schedules, allowing me to find a time that suits me, and the availability of AI sessions makes their training even more accessible. The supportive and approachable nature of their service helps transform individual contributors into effective leaders. Additionally, the option to reschedule without hassle adds to its appeal.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Maybe having classes that belong to serie. In my case, I had a series of classes or workshops, but if you choose different class, it would be nice to understand what you should visit after or what you need before. So you could have a series of workshops that all together target all aspects of a skill or area you want to work on.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone provides presentations and workshops to develop soft skills for management, which are crucial for career growth. They make the material accessible and personalized, helping my team understand business processes and leadership roles, ultimately enabling collaboration across the company.

 ### 49. Flexible Classes, Though Some Feel Too Forced and Formal

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I believe the biggest benefit that Hone provided was the flexibility of the classes on hand. I did not have to take time off or go to a specific seminar to take the classes that were implanted by my organization.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Some of the classes felt very forced and almost too formalized. I found myself using a lot of corporate jargon that I would never use in a day to day situation.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

Not every single course needs to be analyzed and sometimes the educator makes statements that are redundant. If you were able to find a way to still educate in a corporate structure while not using buzz words it would take you a long way.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone was implemented by our organization in order to facilitate continued education when it comes to corporate training and etiquette. it allowed my department to learn together while not consuming an entire workday and still being able to work independently as needed.

 ### 50. Versatile Training for an AI-Embracing Culture

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like Hone for providing great courses that create a space to learn the intricacies of working with other people, being a leader, managing stress, and embracing AI. Having courses specifically to embrace AI has been a huge contributor to our company's initiative to make AI more accessible for our employees. The wide variety of scheduling options and the ability to offer them remotely have made the courses easily accessible. These features allow employees to attend the courses at their own convenience.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

When classes fill up, it would be better if they offered more courses. We had mandatory courses required of our employees, and they had to schedule months in advance. Not everyone enjoys the breakout rooms. Perhaps having different course type options without the breakout, or include in the descriptions of the courses if they do.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone provides great courses on leadership, managing stress, and working with AI, creating a culture that embraces learning. The courses make AI more accessible and reduce intimidation, while remote scheduling options ensure convenience.
