## Hone Reviews
 ### 1. Empowers Confidence with a Rich Course Selection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorian W.

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like Hone's course materials, as they have helped me learn about AI and built my confidence to speak up on related topics. I've taken multiple courses, and I appreciate the wealth of knowledge I've gained from the instructors. The breakout rooms for meetings are another feature I find valuable because they allow me to collaborate with other professionals and discuss how certain topics come up. Additionally, I find it helpful to have a vast list of courses to choose from.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I'd like to see a board to review old courses I've taken before with notes that were kept. The notes the instructor uses can be kept by the participants so we can review them after the course has been completed.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone helps me learn about AI and boosts my confidence to speak up. The instructors are great, and the breakout rooms allow meaningful discussions. Having a wide range of courses is useful.

 ### 2. Interactive, Practical Workshops That Make Learning Stick

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Youssef H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

What I like best about Hone is how interactive and practical the sessions are. The instructors create a safe, supportive space where people actually talk through real scenarios instead of just listening to theory. The frameworks are simple enough to remember, but specific enough that I can plug my own situations into them right away. I also appreciate the accountability of live workshops and the mix of perspectives from different industries, which makes the discussions richer and helps me see my own challenges from new angles.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

On the odd occasion, I find the pace a bit fast for deeper reflection, especially when we move quickly between breakout rooms, frameworks, and group discussion. It can feel like there isn’t quite enough time to sit with a concept and think about how it applies to my specific role. I’ve also noticed there are fewer session times that align well with my timezone and already busy calendar, which can make it harder to join consistently.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

I’d recommend Hone to anyone who wants live practice with real people rather than just watching recordings or reading slides. It’s especially valuable if you’re looking to build confidence in communication, feedback, and leadership skills, even as an individual contributor. You get simple, repeatable frameworks, space to try them out in a supportive environment, and the chance to hear how people in other roles and industries handle similar challenges. If you’re willing to participate actively and bring your own scenarios, you’ll get a lot of value from the sessions.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone is helping me build practical leadership and collaboration skills that I don’t naturally get from my current daily workload; especially around communication, feedback, and managing stakeholders across teams. It breaks big, abstract topics into concrete frameworks and live practice with real people who are sharing the same passion and facing the same issues, which makes it easier to apply what I learn immediately. The more I use it, the more I feel more confident leading projects, structuring conversations, and contributing at a more strategic level in cross functional settings.

 ### 3. A Safe, Supportive Space with Humble Participants

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christophe L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

That the participants are not arrogant, and it feels like a safe space. This is critical, because it naturally inspires participation, dialog, understanding one another.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Based on the pressure from the workplace to participate in Hone, it often feels like "busy work." This is not a criticism for Hone, but it may impact how participants respond to Hone and to its classes. Nothing that I dislike about Hone.

**Recommendations to others considering Hone:**

But I think if Hone could establish peer cohorts or networks, enabling participants to continue and grow together, that would be fantastic.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a good space for hearing stories from peers who share similar experiences, and especially useful for those who have no network of peers in their workplace. In other words, I found it most useful for employees who feel isolated in their workplace.

 ### 4. Empowers Managers with Practical Frameworks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omar T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I used Hone training to be a better manager for my team. It has been helping me to be effective by providing strategies for managing, communicating, and leading my team. I also find it very helpful to cross-learn from the experiences of students in Hone classes who are from other organizations. I appreciate the frameworks introduced in classes and the breakout sessions that assist in expanding and deploying the frameworks further, which helps with learning and applying the discussed frameworks. They provide a safe space to practice Hone learnings, which I can then use in real life scenarios with my team. Hone classes have helped me to review constructive feedback in a better way and have helped me gain a better understanding of my direct-reports' mindsets and perspectives. This helps me to have better empathy with them. I also like the breakout and discussion sessions as they are interactive and help to further our learnings.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I would consider the sessions to be a bit longer to have enough time to thoroughly review and practice the topics being discussed. Sometimes a 1hr session seems a bit too short.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hone helps me be an effective manager by improving my communication and leadership strategies. It provides a platform to learn from others and practice strategies, enhancing empathy and cross-learning which enrich team management.

 ### 5. Ideal Fit for Leadership Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor T. | Personal & Professional Development Writer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I really love using Hone for leadership training. Their services fit the best for my leadership journey compared to others like LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, and O'Reilly. What's really good about Hone is that they try to understand business realities and challenges, and their coaches have real business experiences, working with different types of managers and teams. They offer soft skill development to technical skill development needed for managing a team well. I appreciate how all their methodologies work together, allowing us to brainstorm and find solutions that fit our current needs, rather than just receiving a ready-made solution. I find their focus on leader and professional development really well-aligned with what I need, and I'd love to continue and expand more on that.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Sometimes, some trainings or workshops aren't available in certain time zones, and you need to plan in advance to attend. If something comes up and you can't attend, you have to wait months to get the same training available again.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone for leadership training. Their coaches have real business experience, understanding daily work challenges. They offer soft and technical skill development, helping us manage teams and navigate workday issues while caring for personal and professional growth.

 ### 6. Empowering Management with Effective Coaching

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Calvin M.

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I appreciate Hone for providing coaching classes as part of our organization initiatives to help us be better managers. These management classes are incredibly helpful in tackling a variety of topics, like learning how to handle difficult challenges in management, structuring teams, conducting reviews, and addressing specific management problems. Hone has been instrumental in boosting our team productivity and has helped me become a better leader. I like that they provide a mental framework for doing reviews and structuring teams, which makes our organization more structurally sound. Each class includes coursework that helps with preparation, along with real-world examples discussed with other attendees, which I find very useful for practice. The concept of setting follow-through goals is great as it keeps you honest and encourages acting on what you've learned. I particularly like the classes that involve different organizations, where I get to interface with folks in slightly different but related situations, offering different perspectives, which is really nice.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Sometimes classes have overlapping content so it can feel a bit repetitive.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone to gain management skills, becoming a better leader. It boosts team productivity and makes our organization more structurally sound through shared classes.

 ### 7. Expert Trainers, High Recommendation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I really appreciate the training sessions with Hone as they genuinely help me in my day-to-day role. They provide different ideas on how to do better and be more productive. The expertise of the trainers stands out; they're highly qualified and articulate clearly, which really helps me understand the courses and apply them in real life. There's a great array of training sessions available, and I'm very interested in many of them. They're also easy to connect to and very to the point and clear when conducting the trainings.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

I wish there was more tracking to that invisibility in the AI sessions. Maybe for management to see that people are actually using that feature.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone's training sessions to improve my day-to-day work, making me more productive. The highly qualified trainers clearly articulate the courses, helping me apply them in real life. Hone enhances my skills in productivity, planning, and client interactions.

 ### 8. Transformative Learning with Engaging Courses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer J.

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I use Hone for personal and professional development, focusing on soft skills like team dynamics and hard skills such as productivity. It helps me with team dynamics, becoming a better leader, and building executive presence and emotional intelligence. I find the live classes to be great, and the AI training agents are pretty cool too. There's a wealth of resources available, with decks downloadable and lots of helpful workbooks. The teachers in the courses seem engaging.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

Sometimes I don't want to be camera on or engage in small breakout groups, but every session is formatted that way. There is some benefit to just having the course on and not being 100% engaged because I take these courses during the workday.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone for personal and professional development, improving team dynamics, leadership, and emotional intelligence. It helps me be a better team player, identify and resolve conflicts, and enables my team to work more seamlessly.

 ### 9. Transforms Feedback Skills with Hands-On Approach

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcelo N. | Director Strategy, Planning & Analytics

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like how Hone teaches a framework and then asks you to do practical exercises, followed by reflecting on what you learned and how you applied the lesson. It's a very hands-on approach that connects practical experience with theoretical knowledge. I really like the personalized approach, the instructor knew all of our names, and it felt like a back-and-forth conversation. I would encourage Hone to continue seeking empathetic instructors with lots of experience who truly understand what it's like to be both an employee and a manager in a large, complex organization.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

The time to discuss with peers in the breakout rooms was too short and sometimes you didn't have time to cover all of your reflections.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone to enhance my career, helping me be clear and fact-driven when giving feedback. It provides a framework for practical exercises, improving team dynamics. I appreciate the personalized approach and empathetic instructors, which fosters an engaging learning environment.

 ### 10. Interactive Leadership Training with Real Impact

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hone?**

I like that Hone provides a vast range of trainings towards leadership, each one being well-detailed and following a clear format. The trainers are very explicit, and it's possible to ask questions during the training since it's interactive. We don't just listen all the time; we get the chance to speak with the trainer and the audience, which is really cool. The sessions are lively and not something that makes you want to get sleepy. It's something that wakes you up and gives great insight into how to be a better manager. I also appreciate the time spent with other members of the audience doing exercises and practicing the theory we learn, which is very helpful. The skills I have learned during these trainings have turned out to be very efficient, specifically helping with coaching others and managing conflicts.

**What do you dislike about Hone?**

For me as I'm based in Europe, it would be more practical to have sessions during the day.

**What problems is Hone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hone for a vast range of leadership trainings, which are well-detailed and interactive. It helps me with coaching others and managing conflicts efficiently. The interactive nature empowers participants by allowing them to explore solutions, enhancing engagement and effectiveness.
