**What do you like best about Tillo?**

For me, the best part is being able to the different teams directly. It makes things much smoother when it comes to fixing issues, working on improvements, or spotting new sales opportunities. Our account manager, Hannah Dickens, has been brilliant over the years. She genuinely goes the extra mile and has been a huge help in growing our products.

But honestly, the thing that stands out most is that they’re really nice people to work with! They’re open to feedback, keen to keep improving, and their business values really matter to us at TopCashback.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

Like any business, there are always things that can be improved, but would I call them downsides? Probably not.

The areas I’d like to see developed (Mainly around self-service on rate changes, banners, etc. for Storefront) are already in the making, so it’s just part of my whishlist.

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to grow TopGiftCards (Storefront) as a way for members to earn a little extra on their everyday shopping. For that to work, the journey had to be simple, fast, and reliable. Storefront has delivered exactly what we needed, and with more improvements on the way, the purchase experience for our members will only keep getting better.

**What do you like best about Tillo?**

There's a pretty stellar catalog of UK retailers working in partnership with Tillo. We always feel like they support our goals for innovating financial processes, and introducing  members of the gift card industry to (our) new tech that could contribute to unlocking vital revenue for them.

As an 'open banking' institution, it's always great to see stakeholders at major UK retailers assimilate with our capabilities to improve their relationship with customers, and Tillo forms a key part of making this change.

Their associated tech is straight forward enough to use daily, and integrate with in the first instance.

Special S/O to Paddy who's been a great addition to the team and always goes above and beyond to improve relations.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

We could strive for a more collaborative approach to any customer support issues that arise - only in the event that special circumstances lead to users of our platform experiencing issues with redemption at certain brands.

Improving transparency around retailers hesitant to get enrolled on our systems as a gift card vendor would be a benefit too - as we sit outside most conventional gift card issuers. 

Granted, it's not always easy to pitch the benefits of innovative, breakout tech solutions - and aim to do what we can to foster better brand relationships.

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving the status of gift cards operating within the cashback space - as a next-gen rewards platform, we always face a certain stigma related to legacy cashback systems.

**What do you like best about Tillo?**

Tillo’s leading platform has become a vital tool in our day-to-day sales tracking. Its powerful reporting capabilities and intuitive dashboard make it easy to analyze partner performance and extract meaningful insights. What really sets Tillo apart is how it enables brands like ours to seamlessly connect with a wide network of gift card buyers. The ability to track specific promotional campaigns and conduct year-over-year comparisons gives us a clear view of what’s driving growth. Tillo is more than just a reporting tool, it’s a strategic platform that brings brands and buyers together in a smarter, more efficient way. 

Tillo as a business are also becoming leaders in the space of 'in-person' industry networking events. 

All in all, highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

It would be unfair to say I dislike anything as Tillo are always willing to jump on feedback and make changes we suggest to get best use out of the platform. 

I am excited to see the global growth and in particular their presence strengthen in the USA.

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tillo is supporting us in processing our digital gift cards and also getting access to a large number of agency partners. In addition to this, we also use Tillo Storefront to power our multi-choice product.

**What do you like best about Tillo?**

Our account managers are really friendly and helpful.  They're always quick to help with any issues we have, and have also pointed out ways that we can optimise our integration to get even more out of our partnership to help our customers have an even better experience. 
The user dashboard is easy to use and we can easily self-serve most of our needs.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

It's not always clear which brands need additional information (and what this might be) when trying to add them to the program.
Removing/deleting users who have left the business is more long-winded than it needs to be, and deleted users still show in the account (above active users for some reason) which is slightly frustrating

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tillo is allowing us to reward our customers in a variety of ways (customer self-serve, via CRM campaigns etc) which leaves us free to concentrate on wider campaigns without needing to worry about how we are rewarding our users.

Everyone I have worked with at Tillo has been fantastic, really living up to the billing of customer experience excellence. We have worked together for a long time and we are able to regularly review performance and benchmarking data to create action points every calendar quarter. 

The platform is straightforward to use in both onboarding, checking terms and conditions and seeing what new opportunities are out there.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

A personal "status" per Buyer/Publisher would be really advantageous - occasionally we have seen requests left as pending or programs rejected without clear reasons why!

Offering our customers a unique option to withdraw their cashback to a wide range of brands as a gift card and incentivising this with an additional reward

We’ve been using Tillo for quite some time, and the experience has been fantastic. Their platform is reliable, easy to integrate, and offers a huge range of gift card options, which our customers absolutely love.

What really sets Tillo apart is their customer service. Whenever we’ve had questions or needed support, their team has been incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. They’re proactive in resolving issues and always open to feedback, which makes working with them a pleasure.

Highly recommend Tillo for anyone looking for a seamless gift card solution backed by a great team!

If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be reporting. It works well overall, but handling time zones can sometimes be a bit tricky and requires extra attention to ensure data aligns properly. That said, it’s nothing major and doesn’t impact our ability to use the platform effectively.

I also wish Tillo did more promotional work with brands, as it could help drive even more engagement and sales opportunities.

The standout strength of Tillo is their exceptional customer support. Their team is consistently responsive, quick to resolve issues as they arise, and always willing to go the extra mile. We've found their account management to be proactive and solutions-oriented, with a clear understanding of our business needs. This level of service has been instrumental in helping us scale effectively and confidently.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

While not directly under Tillo’s control, I would encourage the team to work more proactively with gift card processors to improve redemption experiences. For example, some brand gift cards don’t activate immediately and may take up to 1–2 hours post-redemption, which can frustrate users. Others rely on overly complex CAPTCHA verification, creating unnecessary friction for customers.

Tillo enables us to access a wide network of digital gift card brands through a single integration, which is critical to the success of our cashback business model. By streamlining procurement, fulfillment and brand management, Tillo removes the operational complexity of managing multiple supplier relationships. Prior to Jigsaw’s acquisition, the only notable limitation in the support we received was around scale and available resources. While the team consistently delivered high-quality service, there were natural constraints in their ability to expand and evolve at the pace we required. 

However, since the acquisition by Tillo, we’ve seen a significant and sustained investment in these areas. The increased scale, enhanced infrastructure, and broader resource pool have not only addressed previous limitations but have also unlocked new opportunities for growth and innovation, this transformation has further strengthened our confidence in the partnership and the long-term value it brings to our business.

From the onboarding / integration stage to day to day operations and working along side the Accounts team, the experience has been first class. 

Super smart and pro-active team always aiming to go above and beyond. The best part is the responsiveness in communication whether it is a request from us to the brand side or over coming a hurdle on the technical side, Tillo's speed of response and solve is impressive!

It is not always entirely clear what the brands need from the buyer when reviewing and approving. When the brands decided not to work with a specific buyer, the feedback is always a generic response. I would like to see a more granular response so, us the buyer, can see if there is anything we can do / shift in terms of priorities so brand and buyer have a greater degree of commonality and by extension work together. 

More clarity on the brand roadmap as well as whom will be onboarded as well as a field on the hub whereby the buyer can request.

My only minor gripe is that some of the key brands have smaller % discounts.

The platform is extremely easy to use- product browsing is straightforward, bulk orders are simple to create, and the reporting tools are good. I've been working with Tillo for a long time, and it's always been a smooth experience. Their team is responsive, supportive and committed to helping grow your business.

The brand approval process can sometimes be slow, so more regular updates on the progress would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, clearer communication around product changes, such as removals, disabled items, or denomination updates would be very helpful.

'Gift cards, rewards and incentives made simple' - It provides us with seamless access to hundreds of brands for our Employee Benefits platform. The platform is easy to use, and the attentive Account Management team, led by Hannah, ensures we’re supported every step of the way. We particularly value the regular updates on new UK brand propositions, timely alerts about upcoming increased discounts and perspective collaborations.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

Honestly, no major negatives stand out. If anything, it's a testament to how well Tillo works for us. Any minor queries we've had were quickly resolved by the responsive account management team.

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tillo provides us with retailer/brand discounts that sit on our employee benefits platform as well as communicating and negotiating increased discounts from these brands which helps us to increase ativation, engagement and spend.

In partnering with Tillo we are able to exponentially increase the reach of our Gift Cards through their Buyer network, meaningfully having a positive impact on brand reach and revenues.

The extensive reach can mean the occasional small buyer having e.g. out-of-date artwork, but nothing major.

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One single technical integration with a user-friendly portal negates the complexities and significant resource required to supply to Buyers on a one-by-one basis; in meaningfully engaging with Partners they are also adding a layer of thoughtfulness in developing the ecosystem of Partners flowing through the system.

I work with Hannah and the wider team and the entire process is seamless both from a partnerships perspective and a tech perspective. Tillo are fast to communicate and share regular updates. The service is fantastic and they have a dedicated support team on hand to support when necessary too!

The only improvement I would suggest is an ability to add in all brands versus manually.

Tillo provide an extensive global catalogue for our Reward product, enabling employers to reward their employees.

**What do you like best about Tillo?**

Tillo allows us to integrate with third parties seamlessly - it's amazing that we don't have to manage any of these integrations and everything always runs very smoothly, with very little input required from our end to get things up and running. The dashboards are clear and user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

It is difficult to keep track of all the vendors that list us as we are not involved in conversations about who does. We find that this can make it difficult when guests visit with a gift card from what might seem like an "unknown" source - our teams are naturally suspicious it may be a scam if they haven't heard of the platform. Similarly, guests sometimes have a card they need to activate, or use to purchase a second card for a specific brand but we don't always know the requirements/journeys so cannot assist them. It can be hard to search for the vendors and confirm legitimacy of a listing because names in Tillo don't always match trading names.

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tillo allows us to offer our gift cards on third party platforms such as reward programmes, meaning we can offer closed discounts for specific user groups.

**What do you like best about Tillo?**

I think the best part in comparison to other platforms is how straightforward the portal is, and how responsive/helpful the support staff is. There are also built in API for balance checking and cancellations that come in very handy for certain brands.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

When browsing order history, if we have no payment id, it can get very tedious locating an order. For example, if we are finding a specific Tesco payment that occured at 8 AM. We have the option to select Tesco and the date, but as order history only loads 10 entries at a time, and is only in a most recent descending order, it can take a long time to get to the specific payment.

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have noticed more brands become available with direct cancellation in the hub, which speeds things up with our customer support process on our end, and get back to users.

**What do you like best about Tillo?**

We love using Tillo at Sprive.  They have an efficient tech solution that works seamlessly and offers a user-friendly experience.  Integrating into the platform was straightforward, which saved us time and money.  One of the standout benefits, is that it gives us access to an extensive network of premium brands with just one integration.  Their customer support team at Tillo is very responsive and quick to address and resolve issues.  Tillo has also gone the extra mile by supporting us in the marketing space and helping with introductions within the gift card industry.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

Tillo is great so it's difficult to say a lot here.  We'd obviously love to give our customers access to more top-tier A-brands.  Be great if they could offer a cost-effective payment solution by which we could purchase the gift cards on behalf of our customers.  A card linking offer for top-tier brands like the grocers would be amazing which they currently don't offer.  We currently need to manually top up the float which can be cumbersome.  I would love to see Tillo introduce an automated float top-up system.  However all in all, they're are a valuable partner.

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tillo gives access to a range of top-tier brands which allows our customers to earn extra money towards their mortgage when they do their everyday shopping.  Partnering with Tillo has helped improve app engagement, and helped customers combat rising interest rates and cost of living, which from a business perspective has made us more resilient.  The integration has also helped provide our business with an additional revenue stream and improved overall retention.   Also being associated with top-tier A-brands, it's helped build more trust when attracting new customers.  Without Tillo, we would be forced to agree on separate commercial arrangements with brands and work on bespoke technology integrations which would take time and be expensive.

Being a both an Supplier admin user and a customer, I truly enjoy using the Tillo hub to grab necessary information as the information is super clear and easy to navigate / use. The team (Account Manager and Ops team) are super helpful in responding to inquiries and keeping my updated on the current status on the new product onboarding.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

At the moment the brand approvals are through manual email conversation. It might be great to have a function in the Hub that allows me to provide approval directly to customes on Hub.

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tillo is helping epay to distribute some of the products into its channels - it expand epay's product reach/awareness as well as the sales performance.

Tillo are so easy to work with and massively help us expand the reach of our brand. We are acessing new markets for our digital product we couldn't reach otherwise, and driving sales and income.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

There is nothing we dislike about working with Tillo. They make it so easy to manage our conections and sale via their very simple dashboard, and we ge instant responses from our accoutn manager when we need.

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wouldn't be able to access all the rewards and incentive partners that Tillo connect to ourselves. As a not-for-profit our goal is to raise the profile of the entire theatre industry, and Tillo help us do that.

Tillo opens up so many channels and parters and the account managers are really knowledgeable, helpful and communicative. Tillo always send great opportunities to brands that are easily implemented on the portal. We use the Tillo across the business weekly with no issues.

If the data requested is too big it needs to be pulled in multiple sections.

**What do you like best about Tillo?**

We have been working with Tillo for some time now and have always found them flexible to our needs, understanding our goals and great to work with. 

Through our strong relationship we have been able to launch new products and channels, and grow our sales year on year.  

The speed in which they have engaged with us to get technical and system changes through has been a core aspect in why they are a great partner. They possess a lot of technical expertise which allows us to launch projects with them efficiently and speedily.

They always take time to share new opportunities with us and talk through, facilitating intro meetings where neccessary.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

Although the portal is very user friendly and helpful, it would be good to have a better way to understand what each customer does on a top line level- EB, R&R, Cashback, Salary Sacrifice etc.

At the moment, to see a customer you have to click on their name and then read a customer description. There is a 'works in' filter but i find this too vague. Also, the ability to view more than one customer at a time would be really useful.

Tillo solved the problem of allowing our customers to purchase from us in real time.

Adding Tillo as a partner has been great for driving member engagement. 
Tillo offer a broad range of brands across the UK & the US. 
Our account managers to date have been friendly and helpful. 
The portal is easy to use and we were given a demo to ensure everyone working on the account was able to use it to the best of its ability. 
The customer journey is smooth and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

The contract process was lengthy and there were big delays between iterations. 
The brand SLAs for marketing sign off aren’t clear which makes it difficult to include the brands in any marketing.
We have found in some instances that the brand details on the portal are not up to date e.g. T&Cs, Image, logo. 
Quite a few brands don’t offer cancellations.

Tillo allow us to offer our members access a huge variety of brands in both the UK and USA.

The Tillo portal is intuitive, and easy to use and our account manager is attentive, friendly and professional.

The reporting tool is useful, and allows to see in real time redemptions that our members have made.

It would be great if more brands were happy to cancel gift-cards, especially for fraudulent cases. 

The brands terms and conditions, imagery/logos need to be updated more regularly. 

Pre-approvals would be useful as sometimes getting brand approval can sometimes be a lengthy turnaround. 

Introductions to retailers would be useful for marketing collaboration and for monitoring fraud.

**What do you like best about Tillo?**

Tillo has become a daily essential for me to monitor our product sales. Its reporting features allow me to delve deep into partner data, providing valuable insights that are easy to understand thanks to its user-friendly dashboard. The ability to generate reports for specific promotion campaigns and compare year-over-year data is especially helpful for assessing our sales performance. Overall, I highly recommend Tillo as an excellent sales reporting tool.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

While I find Tillo to be an excellent sales tracking platform, my only criticism is its lack of a feature allowing users to select a customized group of clients to view sales history within the platform. Currently, one can export the data and pivot it to achieve this, but it cannot be done on the platform itself. This can be inconvenient, especially when we need to group certain partners. It would be highly beneficial if Tillo were to implement this feature on the platform in the future.

We managed points-based purchases using some WordPress plugins, which was a problem while updating the core WordPress and plugins. So we opted for Tillo to manage our rewards system using API integration

The Tillo team made onboarding & setup super simple. When we got access to their API, our dev team found it really easy to work with.  The Tillo tech team were also really responsive & happy to help with any questions or issues that arose, whether at that time or at any point since. Would happily recommend them to any organisation looking for a partner in this space.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

It would be great to get some additional data provided by the API (i.e. things like brand categories), so that we don't have to try & create this information ourselves.

**What problems is Tillo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tillo are that single partner that we have to work with in order to provide a wealth of digital rewards for our customers.  If we didn't work with Tillo & we had to source all of the brands ourselves, it would be an absolute nightmare & ultimately just wouldn't be feasible to achieve a catalogue of this size & quality.  Essentially Tillo take care of the difficult part & just leave us to integrate with their single API.

I have processed nearly £9.5m of sales through Tillo since we started with them and have had very few issues. In over 99% of cases, the transactions are seamless and need no follow-up. In the rare instances in which remedial action has been necessary, it is easy to do, and the R&D and client care staff are usually very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Tillo?**

There are only a couple of downsides to using Tillo:

1) No 'success' or status communication once a gift has been sent.

2) Limited slicing and dicing of data available, makes it difficult to identify individual orders unless you already have most of the information.

Tillo makes it easy to gift large numbers of clients/employees at once, making it an ideal way of rewarding behaviour, contributing to cost of living, or simply saying 'thank you'
