Teamhood has become my go-to project management tool – and that’s saying something, as I’ve worked with Asana, Trello, MS Planner & To Do, and Smartsheet in various consulting and coaching contexts. What sets Teamhood apart is its rare combination of depth and usability.
The Kanban functionality is truly outstanding – ideal for organizations managing many parallel initiatives. It gives me a clear and intuitive overview while still allowing me to dig deeper into dependencies and capacity planning using Gantt views. I also appreciate how easy it is to generate reports and document progress directly in the platform – a big plus when working with clients who expect clear and structured updates.
A few other things that really matter to me:
European-based (GDPR-compliant and not subject to the US Cloud Act) – a key consideration for privacy-conscious teams.
Available in multiple languages (English, German, Lithuanian) – makes it a great fit for international or multilingual teams.
Faster onboarding than I expected – it’s about as easy to get people up to speed as Trello, even with more advanced features.
Generous free plan and fair pricing.
And last but not least: responsive and thoughtful support. The team clearly cares about their users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main feedback I’ve heard from project stakeholders is the lack of a PDF export for project documentation. It’s not a dealbreaker for me personally, but it has come up multiple times in client conversations. If this were added, it would really round out an already excellent experience.
